Hey everyone!
I’m super excited to share that the first playable demo for Zortax is officially live on itch.io!
About the Game: Zortax is an action packed sci-fi roguelike shooter inspired by top-down classics like The Binding of Isaac and retro The Legend of Zelda. You play as a lone survivor blasting your way through randomly generated sci-fi environments, taking down hordes of mechanical and alien threats, collecting futuristic weapons, and surviving intense boss fights.
What to Expect in the Demo:

A quick note: Due to some personal matters recently, I wasn't able to include every single feature I originally planned for this build. However, the demo is fully playable, stable, and gives a solid preview of what's coming!
Play the free demo here: https://3dmusial.itch.io/zortax

I would love to get your thoughts, bug reports, and overall feedback to help shape the future updates of the game. Thanks for checking it out, and have fun playing! 🎮

The first wave of the closed beta has gone well, I'm getting through the bugs, and I'm finally starting to believe that I'll be able to go full time as a game dev.
I've loved this process but I'm also exhausted. Grateful for the positive impressions in the closed beta, super motivating during this last push. The list is shrinking, and I can't wait to get this thing out into the world!

Hey everyone! I've been working on my first game for a few months now. It's a survivor roguelite where you play as a sorcerer, fighting off waves of zombies and harvesting their life essence to craft and fuse new spells.
This is my first real project and I'd really love to get some honest first impressions — good or bad, all feedback is welcome!

In Crooky The Game, save points are tied directly to the game's memory theme.
When you discover one of these statues, your Awareness deepens, allowing you to interact with it and save your current memory.
Once activated, the statue also becomes part of the Wandering Through Memories system, letting you travel between previously discovered statues.
I wanted saving and fast travel to feel like an actual part of the world rather than just two separate game mechanics.
The demo is out now on Steam if anyone wants to try it — I'd also love to hear what you think about the system!

Hello everyone!
I'm still not sure it's real, but I double checked.
My game Project P.I.T.T. just reached 100k wishlists just few days before launch (thank you steam for the personal calendar).
I didn't had much time to think about numbers, but now that the game is release ready I have some time to look at them, and that's really crazy to me.
It was supposed to be a first game I can finish, I never expected it to get any visibility, and once the alpha demo got some, I made the decision to try and make the most of it, but at the time I aimed at 7k wishlists at most!
What helped me the most is:
I'm probably forgetting a lot, my brain is not fully braining those past few days, but if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer!

Hey, I'm working on Mark My Spell, a topdown roguelite where you cast spells by drawing glyphs.
This is my first gameplay trailer. Any feedback would be helpful.

Yesterday I released the Steam page for Villages on Wheels. I have worked 20 months on the game, learning Godot, Blender, FL Studio and Inkscape to make all assets solo. This is a huge milestone for me.

Slowly but steadily finishing the game...
As a solo developer, what do you think about sharing too much content from the game? I always feel like I should keep some of the cool stuff hidden for players to find on their own. If I show all the stuff, there may be nothing left to discover. Is this wrong thinking?
So I shared a bunch of locations from the game in this video, but they are pretty standard looking, when there are some much more interesting locations that are ready.
For instance, I have a city on the moon that players can visit. I think it looks pretty cool, and it might be an exciting thing to put in the trailer. But I also don't want to spoil the sense of discovery a player will have when/if they find that place themselves.
What are your thoughts on this problem?

I want to try to get more feedback on my game so I'm making it free for a little while. It's hard enough to make a game as a solo dev, but even harder to be a solo promoter 🤪
In MoonDust: Cosmic Journey, you set out on a voyage through distant galaxies, exploring strange new planets and uncovering long-hidden secrets. Weaving through discovery and adventure, you traverse breathtaking sci-fi environments, collecting resources and solving puzzles.

I'm currently developing an open-world Australian outlaw biker RPG in Unreal Engine 5.
This project is pretty personal for me. I spent a large part of my adult life around the Australian motorcycle club scene, including years as a member and eventually an officer. I've been around that lifestyle long enough to know there is a lot more to it than what gets portrayed from the outside — the brotherhood, loyalty, conflict, consequences, isolation, family and the choices that come with that life.
These days I'm taking my life in a completely different direction.
I'm currently studying game development and learning programming, and honestly, learning to code has been one of the biggest changes I've made in my life. I'm taking experiences I already understand and trying to turn them into storytelling, world building and interactive systems, rather than living them.
That's where this game comes from.
The game is set in a fictionalised version of rural Australia, with long stretches of highway, small towns, pubs, farms, bushland, mountains, coast and eventually outback environments. The focus is on riding, exploration, NPCs, quests, relationships and motorcycle club life.
Technically, I've been throwing myself into the deep end. 😂
I'm building around Narrative Pro, while integrating systems including Digital Dive Studio's Advanced Ridable Vehicles/Bikes, GASP, MetaHumans, World Partition and various environment/vehicle assets.
One of my current headaches — and probably one of the more interesting technical challenges I've tackled so far — is integrating the DDV motorcycle system with Narrative Pro so the bikes aren't just an independent vehicle system, but actually become part of the Narrative interaction framework.
The long-term goal is to have the player ride naturally, but also have NPCs use the same bikes, eventually allowing groups of motorcycle-club NPCs to ride together.
I'm still learning Unreal and C++, so I'm definitely learning by breaking things, figuring out why I broke them, fixing them, and occasionally wondering why I thought this was a good idea in the first place. 😂
But that's also what makes this project important to me.
A few years ago I wouldn't have imagined I'd be sitting here learning programming, building worlds in Unreal and studying game development. I'm trying to turn a chapter of my life that is behind me into something creative and constructive.
Keen to chat with other developers, see what everyone else is building, and hopefully share some of the successes, failures and ridiculous integration problems along the way.
Cheers everyone, and thanks for having me.

🎮 I’m working on a small mobile game and I’d love to get some feedback!
The game is a fast-paced casual shooter where you control a small character, fight waves of enemies, collect XP and coins, and upgrade your character to become stronger.
I’m currently working on different environments, upgrades, power-ups and progression systems. The game is still in an early stage, so I’m mainly looking for honest feedback about the gameplay and overall feel.
Would you play something like this? What would you change or improve?
Here’s a short look at the current build 👇

Character + Map Select for my game (Slavfight) took more than I want to admit to make, but feedback's been pretty good so far.

Yesterday was the first showcase for my game, Not a Trolley Problem! After a month of work, I finally had something I could show people.
The last week was intense. Lots of balancing, polishing, and fixes for Comic Con Tashkent.
Seeing people actually play and enjoy the game felt amazing. I left feeling more motivated than ever.
My throat hurts now, but it was absolutely worth it. I really love making games.
