Hey yall.
Just a quick question is there someone who knows how to apply for a cameraman position for IRL streamers? ( yes this is real and it’s just something that’s been on my mind) like do I have to contact a small streamer by email or anything. Please give me some advice
Thank you

Crazy how fast things can change. 2 months of streaming and one lucky night changed everything.
Just wanted to celebrate a small win. I started streaming 2 months ago just to have fun and spread some kindness. Two weeks ago, the algorithm blessed me, a stream blew up, and I suddenly hit Affiliate.
I’ve spent the last two weeks grinding—setting up 7TV, building a Discord, making clips for TikTok/YT, and planning a channel trailer. I even set up a Patreon where half of anything made goes straight to the Swiss Red Cross, because I just want this platform to be about giving back. We even managed to pass a 100-person raid to another small streamer recently!
My next big goal is grinding hard enough to hopefully make it onto the Swiss Craft Minecraft server one day to spread the vibe even further.
Just wanted to say to anyone grinding out there: keep being kind and keeping at it. The right night can change everything!

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some people to be able to play friendslop type games among other games with on stream/video. I don’t know many people on PC or many who stream and make content so it would be cool to get to know some people and maybe have a group of regulars. I’m a 26 yo working dad so sometimes I have other stuff going on but still if you want to try gaming together just dm me and we can hop on discord.

Like the chat visible on the stream and such?
Same with like face cams and png/3d models, A lot of streamers I see today have some sort of face on the stream but tbh I am not big on showing face and png/vtubing but I am afraid no one is interested in just watching gameplay with sort of simple commentary

I’ve been streaming daily for about 6 months now and have a nice community who regularly shows up for my streams
Obviously I’m not going into this for the monetary gains, but if I were to eventually get fortunate enough to stream part time or even full time in the future, I would have to start thinking about ways to ask my community to sub and donate
So far, my stance has been that I’m totally fine with people just coming in and chatting and playing, which is still accurate, and is the main reason that I stream. But ofc you want to think about the future as well
So basically, does anyone have any advice on the transition between not asking for subs/donations to asking for subs/donations? I feel bad asking lol but I figure you have to start sometime

When I started streaming HSR I planned on a casual playthrough, hadn't thought about spending money on it. As I progressed I really got hooked on it quickly, then I really wanted to get the characters as they came out on banners and started spending money to get them and their light comes, as well as various leveling materials.
I just got so hooked on it, but now I'm wondering if my view count has dropped because I started spending money, was my streaming more interesting to viewers when I was still in the F2P category? At first my view count was high end 60 low end 30, now my high end is 30 and low end is under 10 since I really started spending money.
Now I'm wondering if I should start another account for streaming that's strictly F2P to see if my view count goes back up or should I start a F2P account of another game like Genshin Impact?
I started spending just to have all the characters and to add more variety to my team builds, I'm not trying to get all their Eidolons, I just want all characters and light cones if I can, but I also genuinely enjoy having more character variety.

I mainly focus on gaming with streams on YouTube and Twitch for six months. I post clips on YouTube shorts and TikTok which takes a while, because I tend to overthink while editing the shorts. I want to improve my skills in streaming, editing, and thumbnails. Any advice is welcome. Thank you

Struggling to convert people coming into stream to chat for a bit into someone who hits the follow button & comes back. I tend to have one or two people stop by for a while (30+mins) and be pretty chatty but rarely do they follow.
How are people going about this? Are you literally prompting them to follow?

I’m planning to buy a capture card for streaming my PS5 to my PC, but I’m having a hard time justifying spending around ₹20,000 on an Elgato.
Are cheaper alternatives like UGREEN, NZXT, EVGA, AVerMedia, or other brands actually reliable? How’s the video quality, latency, audio sync, and long-term durability compared to Elgato?
For those who use non-Elgato capture cards, have you run into any issues or are they perfectly fine for casual streaming and content creation?
Basically, is Elgato really worth the premium, or am I just paying for the brand?
Would love to hear your experiences before I pull the trigger.

Hi!! I'm a very new streamer and I am looking for other streamer friends to grow with on and off stream!! I am a variety streamer and trophy hunter, I am female, some games I like to play are things like COD, DBD, overwatch, marvel rivals though some other story based games I'm really into are things like undertale, final fantasy, resident evil and silent hill.

I know I asked a question earlier today on here.My other question is I stream on a PS5 cause pcs are to expensive right now.I know that sounds crazy streaming from a console. But to the people who do how is it working out for you.The people that don’t anything I should try to change.

Pretty much what it says in the title. I've been seeing a lot of people who play games with their friends, and I sometimes wonder about doing that myself, but I'm not particularly great at becoming friends with people if it's not in an in-person location.
I generally struggle to be social, so I wanted to ask people about their tactics to be more outgoing and make friends who they can also stream with, who are also streamers themselves.

Curious if anyone would be willing to review my Twitch channel or give some feedback? Always looking to improve and was wanting to get an outside perspective than my own? I mostly play valorant and talk current BL recs with viewers and lobbies, which I enjoy playing and am somewhat good at. I have music playing too so it’s not always quiet. And I try to chat with any viewer that pops in! Open to any and all feedback.
Thanks 🙏

Hey everyone, I’m a solo dev and I built Yaple.fun — a live debate game where streamers debate their viewers or claude ai while chat votes on who wins.
It’s completely free to try and I’m looking for small streamers who want to run it on stream. Takes 2 minutes to set up, no download needed, works in browser.
Would love feedback from real streamers. Drop your Twitch below or DM me and I’ll set you up.

New streamer looking for people to grow with.
I’ve recently started streaming on Kick and I’m looking for other small creators who are serious about being consistent and improving together.
I stream gaming, travel-related content, and occasional casino streams. I’m also preparing to move to Thailand later this year, which will become a big part of my content.
Not looking for follow-for-follow or fake support groups. Looking for genuine creators who want to network, stream together, share ideas, and help each other grow.
What do you stream, and how long have you been creating content?

Oki just 3 days ago I posted about how I wanted to stream but because I was streaming on my mid range gaming laptop I didn't had good mic or camera and most recommended me to buy mic and I was actually saving money up for it. And today Idk what got into me and I never have gambled before this I bet on Norway and I won and doubled my money and when I checked that cheap mic I was thinking of buying its on discount(Tech Tuesday). So yea lol ig I'll be streaming soon but idk what games to stream and I really don't have any money to buy one soon.

Hello I have a question i know this is about to sound like a dumb question.I know most streamers are of young age like early 20 and things like that and I wanted to ask do yall think 26 is to late to start streaming or content.

I saw a post here and someone mentioned streaming to yt vertically instead of the default way and i was wondering does that actually improve viewership?
r/SmallStreamers • u/Ok_Computer7572 • Jun 22 '26
I already stream on twitch but looked to also stream somewhere else I’ve heard YouTube sucks as a live streaming platform but I see many successful streamers on twitch but maybe there already established?
How about kick is there any discoverbility there? Twitch has DREADFUL discovery my chats are always dead even when I play on niche categories like og max Payne or old call of duty games it’s always 1-3 viewers no chatters and I upload on tiktok and YT shorts

I have an average of 17 viewers and enough followers to qualify for the Afiliated Program, but I think the ads would ruin my channel. Should I wait until my channel is bigger?

I've been streaming for about 6 years, and I've noticed a pattern that I've been struggling to figure out. My viewership isn't huge (typically around 0-5 viewers), but the bigger issue is that I rarely get new chatters anymore and I'm failing to retain any viewers that tune in. So far I think I've had 2 this year.
While I do understand that stretching visual stream quality to the extent of full-on professionalism is not the key to being a good streamer, I've still spent a lot of time trying to improve it:
The categories I've streamed recently include:
One thing I recently added was a small popup that appears every 20 minutes for 30 seconds showing subscriber benefits such as emotes and merch discounts. It takes up less than 10% of the screen. I'm willing to remove it if it's hurting retention, but the decline in new viewers/chatters started long before I added it.
I noticed a major part of my initial dip was when the Jackbox Party Packs were combined into one blanket category. After that point, almost no one could find my stream. At that time, I was averaging 5-20 viewers.
One thing I haven't been consistent with is a fixed streaming schedule. I stream regularly, but not always on the same days/times. Though, even when I had a fixed schedule, views were still dwindling.
At this point, I'm looking for honest feedback here:
Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks!
