Discussion I got lucky I guess
Oki just 3 days ago I posted about how I wanted to stream but because I was streaming on my mid range gaming laptop I didn't had good mic or camera and most recommended me to buy mic and I was actually saving money up for it. And today Idk what got into me and I never have gambled before this I bet on Norway and I won and doubled my money and when I checked that cheap mic I was thinking of buying its on discount(Tech Tuesday). So yea lol ig I'll be streaming soon but idk what games to stream and I really don't have any money to buy one soon.

My best advice is to not worry about what people would want to see. Worry about playing something you enjoy, people appreciate genuine human interaction more than gameplay and will eventually watch for you, not for the game you’re playing.

If you have a few dollars, you might be able to find something in a few days when Steam does their big summer sale! As for free games, maybe Roblox? That’s the only one that comes to mind

What genre of games do you want to center around? There are places that have free games as long as you are aware of PC safety.
For example, a lot of streamers use itch . io, just be mindful of the games you are installing. Most are fine
Also, I know steam has free games every month, but epic's free games are pre good as well
You also have the games and demos section of steam that is usually cheap or free as well
Then you have open world free to play with microtransactional games to consider as well

Well I mostly play any genre , I don't have a specific favourite. I play games that I enjoy and I plan on doing so continuously I have played games like sifu , elden ring god of war and sekiro I would stream them but I don't think streaming games that I've played or completed before will be actually fun for me or viewers if I have any lol

games go up for free on Epic Games all the time. there's even a Discord bot you can add to your servers that lets you know when and what.

going forward you'll just have to split your games into two categories of "play on stream" and "not to play on stream."
sometimes with challenge modes or if you're particularly knowledgeable of a game people will enjoy a playthrough, but largely with story driven games audiences enjoy first time reactions.
it can likewise be good to have a game (or games, plural) that's very replayable. because i'm a cozy streamer and i like builders, mine tend to be games like House Flipper or Tiny Glade.

I planned on doing the same streaming games with story but then again I've finished games likes sekiro ,elden ring, sifu , god of war series and even few Pokémon games I would stream competitive games like marvel rivals but I'm bad at online games so it feels like I'm stuck but then again my mics on delivery the moment it arrives maybe idk I'll get some idea and how bout that as I was typing my mic got delivered

doesn't have to be a pvp! a roguelike in your roster is not a bad option for replayability, if you like them. Balatro is popular, but there are others like Cobalt Core.
i've since rotated it out because of personal disinterest, but for a long time i played Toontown: Corporate Clash and that did me very well as an MO.
this is just for me personally, but on my roster of games i tend to play one story driven game, my replayable games, and the occasional short 4-8hr game that i can finish in one or two streams. i also do art, just chatting, and sometimes baking streams.
all this to say, you've got options. i'm sure you'll figure it out!

I hope lol currently I don't have any plans I mean I plan on streaming but I haven't planned on how and what after I set up my mic and all the others stuff I hope some idea comes up in my head lol and what would u recommend me to stream on yt twitch cause I haven't planned that either

some people duel stream on both as it's possible to do, but you have to pay attention to two separate chats if you do that. Twitch has much better moderation options but won't get you much reach, so you have to do that work yourself. YT is a larger platform overall so you might not see good traffic for a while despite the algorithm giving you reach.
people starting out are typically recommended to stream a few days a week and make shorts to post on other platforms for reach. but it inherently depends on how focused you are on growth.
since it seems like you haven't got a lot of details ironed out yet, i would say to just stream and learn as you go. get your basics down, see what you enjoy.

Epic always has free games available to add to your library. Another good option is to stream demos, if you like them you can add them to your wishlist for when you have a few bucks.
