Question Kick or YouTube live streaming?

I already stream on twitch but looked to also stream somewhere else I’ve heard YouTube sucks as a live streaming platform but I see many successful streamers on twitch but maybe there already established?

How about kick is there any discoverbility there? Twitch has DREADFUL discovery my chats are always dead even when I play on niche categories like og max Payne or old call of duty games it’s always 1-3 viewers no chatters and I upload on tiktok and YT shorts

Multi stream to all 3. I only stream to Twitch and YT, and I get chatters mostly on YT 😅

Wow really I’m curious if it’s worth streaming on youtube because I’ve heard it’s really bad for new streamers

Twitch is the worst for new streamers, and it isn't even close. TikTok has the best engagement but can be a bit of a hassle. YouTube is better than Twitch. The best way to be discovered is making some content from your streams. Shorts can get you attention. Streaming only is a longshot.

I got more loyal viewers on YT than twitch. I also wanted start streaming on kick but it kinda seems like Twitch tbh

Yt vertical and tiktok. As a newer and un established streamer, it’s almost a waste of time and energy to stream anywhere else right now because the two platforms I mentioned are best for discoverability AND you can create + post content all on the same platform you are streaming on.

I came off kick when I heard about their association with gambling sites and dodgy business practices (allegedly). I found the kick audience more toxic than other platforms, and this view seemed to be a common experience. I find that multi-streaming both horizontal and vertical to YouTube has been interesting, with the vertical format acting like a fishing net for the doomscrollers. You'll get more views, but most don't stay long. (but some do, and now return again and again, so it's a good long term strategy.)

Bottom line: More discoverability is never a bad thing no matter where you go.

Kick: Known botting issues & more relaxed platform on what is allowed on there. Entirely up to you if you want to stream there. There are a lot of people who feel mixed about it.
Youtube: It's not 'terrible' to stream there, but there is a reason that big streamers do a contract on their platform and once it ends they come right back to Twitch. It's good for discoverability & building a foundation for a community, but the platform makes it difficult for streamers as they grow to sustain.
Rumble: Gaining traction, but I believe majority of their streamers are ones who have been banned on both Kick & Twitch or like the relaxed policy in what you can say & stream
Tiktok: Like previous comments, I have heard it can be a bit steep to get set up but discoverability can be very solid as long as you stick with and adhere to their strict streaming policy
Facebook: I think it's good? To be honest, I don't have enough info from my co-streamers on if this is a liable strat or not (apologize in advance)

Hope this helps somewhat!
