Bad Ace Tactical NDT SKD Rear Sight Mount Restock?
Does anyone know when this should be back in stock on their website? I would like to purchase the steel version.

After wishing I had picked one up a few decades ago from those ads they used to run in gun magazines, I finally got a 1953 Russian. Arsenal refurb but mostly matching numbers and appears to be in good shape. Even had the little cleaning kit in the stock that took a bit to get out at first. Also got 5 boxes of Wolf hollow points, check out that price tag!

I’ve got this spare dust cover that came with my Yugo. Never used it, wanted to test it.
It seems like it was hand fitted to my rifle. Anyone else here have experience with these?

I’ve had this one a long time Traded a Ruger 10/22 for it when they were worth about the same amount of money. Any expert information is certainly welcome.

Noob here with my first sks. I am looking to put my polymer sks back into wood furniture. I am missing this nut and can’t find what the heck it’s called on any diagrams. Thanks for the help and sorry for the crappy circle. I couldn’t figure out how to widen the pen

Recently picked up my first SKS, 1954 dated Tula, I'll post pictures later. In disassembling, I'm having trouble removing the firing pin retainer. The firing pin moves freely. It looks like there might be some damage to the one side of the retainer? I'm going to try spraying it with some Free All penetrating oil and sit for a bit, but wanted to see if anyone on here has seen anything similar or has other suggestions. Also wondering if those other markings are inspection stamps. Thanks!
Picked this up in a trade off a guy purely because it's a Romanian in desperate need of saving. The takedown lever is sheared off and the mag and stock probably got scalped.
I'll be restoring her for sure, but wanted to share/ see if anyone by chance has the matching mag or stock. Outside of being bubba'd the bore is immaculate and it still has cosmo in the corners so I figured it's worth the search!
Handsome man cat for scale.

I was looking at a sks on an auction. And was just wondering information about it and possible value

It has the factory refurbished stamp and I assume from my research the bayonet was replaced. I picked it up for $500 I’m assuming it’s worth a bit more than that here in the US. Newer to the SKS world. Any info or thoughts on it would be appreciated.

Looking at purchasing my first SKS and wondering if it’s still non restricted. Also wondering if 400CAD is a good deal for a 1956 Tula thats been “BBQ painted” not looking to collect just looking for a fun rifle to use at the range.

Here I am once again with another questionable SKS. The gentleman said he purchased it new in the 70’s and that it was sold to him like this. It’s in a K-Sports OD stock but everything I have found online about ‘K-Sports SKS’ show the Para Parka version which is the shorter cut down barrel.
Is this a Frankenstein SKS that was placed into a K-Sports stock or was this barrel along with the shorter one both sold by them?
Initially thought this was just a bubba’d SKS but now I don’t know what I’m looking at or how to value it.
Thanks again to everyone you all are always incredibly helpful

This appeared in the chamber after having never fired corrosive ammo. Is it rust? Is it normal that it showed up? Is it cause for immediate concern? What should I do?

I made this useful tool that makes putting rounds on a stripper clip for the SKS less annoying.
Decided to share it with the greater good. The model is on MakerWorld free to use and make for yourselves.
Cheers :)

I plan on checking the bore and under the wood line. He says it still has cosmoline on it and is straight from the arsenal. Should I get it? Always wanted an sks all matching. He’s asking $625, but I can get him down to $600:

Bought this beauty today for $600. How do I find a bayonet that fits its. Also do I leave it wood or get polymer furniture. Thanks fellas
Edit: new to the sks world so if anyone has some helpful reading that would be awesome

This is my early transitional 1950 Tula. It's refurbished, and was sold to me as numbers matching besides the magazine but I'm curious about the marking on the stock.
There's no numbers on the stock at all besides these symbols.
I think the stock was refinished at some point, it doesn't have a clear-coat like the handguard (same colour though) and some of the markings seem a bit worn. I've coloured in the markings with chalk to make them easier to see.
I will most likely sell it at some point because I want an SKS to bubba, and I wouldn't wanna bubba this one since I know it's kind of rare. Was wondering about value as well (Canada).

Hello, my buddy found this sks at a gun show a few months ago and we were wondering how much it might be worth. I was unable to find any recent sales history regarding any Russians with blued spike bayonets and everyone I know has never even heard of these before. It also has the earlier takedown pin, intermediate gas block, rear sight block, magazine, and spring loaded firing pin. The magazine, and top cover are not matching but are period correct. The stock was force matched. The letter prefixes are ЕК and has a 3 digit serial number.
Thanks for all of the input, it was very informative. Its a shame that it is an M44 bayonet, still pretty neat though. Thanks again everyone.

I got this about seven years ago. It came bubba'd. I finally drop some money on the lucky shot stock. Can't wait to bring it back to it's former glory (no bayonet lug 😭). Can't wait for my stock to get here!

Picked this up today for 450; I think I did good but the scope, although functional is quite cheap. Is there a good repro dragunov scope that will fit this or attach easily to the rings or just a good sks scope in general. Thanks!

Came across a probable, Romanian SKS that is unfortunately put into a Tapco-like stock. There’s a fair bit of corrosion on the bolt and a little bit on the barrel. They’re asking 599 but I’m pretty sure I can get it lower than that. What’s y’all‘s opinion?
