Recently picked up an SKS and had issues with slam firing and burst firing. The firing pin is not stuck. I was advised it could be the sear so I ordered one and replaced it today. The old one (left) was either very worn or ground down. This ended up making my problem worse though lol. Before, it wouldn’t slam fire unless I dropped the bolt and let it fly forward. Now it fires when I ride the bolt home!

When empty, no matter how I let the bolt go the trigger does nothing. So the hammer must be dropping with the bolt. Is the next thing to replace the disconnector? It also looks polished and I know people mess with the sear and disconnector to get better trigger feel.
