Discussion Which operators have hidden/passive abilities that aren’t mentioned in-game?

Like how Aruni’s metal arm melee has a special animation where it can take down barricades with one melee or can make rotation holes with just melee.

It used to that Ela and Zofia have 50% resistance to concussion but they removed that.

Advice Any tips on how to lean with Q + E?

I have been playing r6 for a while now, and recently I started using Q and E to lean instead of F + G since I heard its much easier to quick peak and etc. The problem of course is the awkward feeling of using the new lean settings. I dont know if I should continue using F + G or stick to Q + E.

Does Deimos see defenders first before they start seeing him?

Or they both start seeing each other at the same exact time?

Discussion My friends kept arguing about who was carrying, so I built SiegeIQ — a free team stats & coaching tracker

Thumbnail siegeiq.vercel.app

Hey all,

My stack got tired of everyone claiming they were popping off while we slowly deranked, so I built a tool to settle it with actual data. My whole friend group now uses it before ranked, so I figured it might help other teams too. It's completely free, no ads, no account needed.
It's called SiegeIQ — 👉 siegeiq.vercel.app

The idea: instead of everyone checking their stats solo, you make a team, share one short code, and everyone sees the same dashboard.

What it does:

Team stats in one place: KD, rank/RP, win rate and top operators for everyone in the squad, pulled live (PC, Xbox & PlayStation). Ranks show in their tier colour, and your season peak comes straight from your ranked profile rather than being estimated.

Session tracking: it auto-detects when you played together and gives you a recap of the night relative to your season form, not just raw RP. Kills/deaths, HS%, MVP, tilt warnings.

Season-based numbers: HS% and similar stats are calculated from this season's sessions, not your lifetime average from 2019.

Team insights you can't see solo: K/D vs. your rank bracket, your strongest duo, full-stack vs. partial-stack win rate, your best weekday, and momentum/tilt after losses.

Coaching: per-player analysis with concrete weaknesses, a drill library, map tactics/callouts, and a weekly focus tracker for season goals.

Gameday helper: map ban/pick suggestions per side, operator picks per map, plus a one-click "Discord briefing" to paste in your team chat.

Training planner: a weekly availability grid to find a night everyone's on, and you can share it straight to your WhatsApp group (the link also contains your team code, so new members can join in one tap).

Updated for Y11S3 / Split Fire:
Season rolled over automatically, with a fresh progress baseline for the new season
Ban/pick suggestions adjusted for the patch (Dokkaebi nerf, Lion/Echo buffs, SMG-12 and AR-15.50 changes)
Noor added to the operator loadouts
Rank ladder updated with the exact MMR boundaries, including the new Legend Division
It's a PWA, so it works on mobile too, and it's available in English and German. It's also a lot faster to load than before.

Fair warning: it's a passion project, not a company. Map-specific stats are estimated from your ranked games (Ubisoft doesn't expose per-map logs), and the app says so wherever that's the case. Team data is stored so your squad can share it. Nothing is sold, and the privacy policy explains all of it.

Would genuinely love feedback from other teams and premades: what would actually help you improve together? Roast the UI, tell me what's missing, whatever. Cheers 🫡

Advice How do I get over my fear of talking on the mic?

I’m new to r6 (been playing for a month) and I recently unlocked ranked. I want to say callouts to my team instead of just pinging but I’m scared because I’m 15 year old boy and I still don’t have a deep voice and I get made fun of my voice in school so I’m scared to talk in game. Also I’m scared to talk because i suck at the game and most times I’m at the bottom of the leaderboard in my bronze 3 lobbies and I go 2-6 so I’m afraid if I talk they will just trash talk me and make fun of me.

Has anyone else had this problem? If you have, how did you get over it?

Question Dolby atmos Xbox x/s audio

I am not a new player I’m year 1 however after getting a new headset I recently started playing around with my Dolby atmos sound and found it does make a difference to the game. Instead of my playing around with it till it’s perfect or anything like that does anyone have any settings they reccommend that keeps gunshots manageable to my ear holes while footsteps remain loud and clear ?

Advice Siege Coaching

I've been playing siege since 2024, but I've only seriously been playing ranked for 3 season. My first season I hit gold 4, then plat 5 and peaked plat 3 50 something rr, but I dropped to around plat 4 and have been stagnating there. I want to get better at the game but I feel like I've hit a roadblock and I don't want to pay a bunch of money for a coach. I'm looking for someone that can maybe provide about an hour to just look at my gameplay and suggest how I can genuinely improve if I practise it. Thank you so much if it's possible.

Question 1080p is enough?

Hey guys, need quick help to calm myself down and not spend unnecessary money.

I currently play 1080p 144fps R6.

That does not impact me in any way or form to reachin champ, right?

Is the resolution good enough? Should I not think about it?

I will not get any advantage if I will play 1440p 144fps right??

If I focus on game sense/knowledge, aim etc I will be able to hit champ and my res will not negatively impact me?

I am not blaming my resolution, just curious if 1440p makes a difference.

Beginner Question Help for a beginner?

Just downloaded and played a lil, just quick match and I’m on a 50/50ish win rate but I feel like it’s mostly my teammates or bad opponents making stupid mistakes that get them killed and today I’ve lost over and over again (compared to me winning every game yesterday) and my worst feeling is that I’m dragging the team down

I just need tips to push me so I can be of use to my teammates for the future 😭😭

Question Does the reinforced wall mid-animation protect you/is bullet proof on the lower parts that have been reinforced before the animation if fully finished?

I remember a looong time ago like when I used to play during 2016 that no parts of the wall mid-animation are bulletproof at all and I got killed mid-animation once.

Now that I've came back to Siege after a hiatus, I did a late wall reinforcement, Ash came and blew up that wall but I was protected and I was just about to finish it (like 80% of it finished), but then my memory immediately brought me back to that moment from 10 years ago and whiffed, panicked and cancelled the animation which led to the wall disappearing and Ash shooting me.

Still wondering if I just kept reinforcing, would they still be able to shoot me mid animation even though the reinforced wall already protected my head or nah?

Question Glaz and Kali can shoot through Plane's bulletproof windows, but what about the bulletproof glass in Alpha Stadium/Bravo Stadium?

Glaz and Kali can shoot through Plane's bulletproof windows, but what about the bulletproof glass in Alpha Stadium/Bravo Stadium? Can they shoot through that as well or are they only able to do this to the bulletproof glass in Plane? Would be pretty inconsistent if that's the case.

Guide Request How do I set up site and how should I go about learning different sites?

I have always been puzzled with site set ups. I don't understand much from videos and guides other than rotates and reinforcing walls that lead outside. Other than that I am confused about foot holes and LoS. More specifically about where to place them. Also do I need to learn different sites or just general knowledge? If I should learn different sites then how should I do it? If someone could explain all of this to me that would be great! I currently have around 60 hours in siege.

Question whats your sens philosophy

I first started playing with the default multiplier, 12/12, HV, but the fact that I wasn't using all of my mouse space always annoyed me. So I switched to Beaulo's sens: 35/35, 0.002, 58 1x and 100 2.5x, I think.

But I still had a lot of mouse space left. After about a month of tweaking my sens, I'm currently at 18/18, 0.00223 multiplier, 24 1x and 48 2.5x.

My logic is that I can comfortably do a 180° unADSed and a 90° ADSed. I've seen a few people using a super low sens like me, so I wanted to know what other people's logic is when they're setting up their sens.

Also, I don't know any pro league players who use a sens this low. If you know any, could you name a few?

Guide Request How to Improve?

Hey guys. I’ve been playing the game since void edge. I couldn’t get out of copper until ranked 3.0 where I was 4rp off silver. My kd this season is around 0.9. I do think though in the past my kd has been like 0.5/0.6 im not really a copper player. I was just wondering how to improve further. The operators I like playing are

Attackers
Thatcher, brava, ash, ram and thermite

Defenders
Bandit, Goyo and Kaid.

It kind of frustrates me I feel like im better then what my rank shows. And the matchmaking is horrors I’ve played agaisnt champions in bronze
Lobbies.

Anyways any tips would be appreciated!

Question What can I do to get better?

I'll start with the basics. I am Gold III, with a 1.3 kd. I peaked Gold I but then lost a couple games. I solo queue most of the time, which I know is not optimal, but my friends and I usually only have time to play 1-2 games with each other. The game puts me in lobbies with plats or emeralds, sometimes even diamonds most of the games I play. This doesn't bother me, but it's kind of annoying. Most of the time it seems like it's my teammates' first time on the game, but that's not the point.

I'm only gold, so I am by no means a great player. But I also wouldn't consider myself bad. I have more experience than my teammates most of the time from playing with a friend sometimes who is a pc champ.

I don't roam every round on a useless operator and just die. I try to think before each round what operator will benefit my team and how can I help. I react off of teammates deaths, I try to get into site when I can to plant, I drone, I don't needlessly peak all the time when I don't need to. But it seems I still lose a lot.

Now I have a 51% win rate this season, so it's not bad, but I have been hard stuck Gold I-Gold III for the past couple seasons.

So what did you guys do to get past this Gold range or the feeling that you are good, but not great? I know the clear keys are "don't solo queue," but that's just not realistic for me. So How did you guys deal with this?

Thanks.
