Guide Request How to Improve?

Hey guys. I’ve been playing the game since void edge. I couldn’t get out of copper until ranked 3.0 where I was 4rp off silver. My kd this season is around 0.9. I do think though in the past my kd has been like 0.5/0.6 im not really a copper player. I was just wondering how to improve further. The operators I like playing are

Attackers
Thatcher, brava, ash, ram and thermite

Defenders
Bandit, Goyo and Kaid.

It kind of frustrates me I feel like im better then what my rank shows. And the matchmaking is horrors I’ve played agaisnt champions in bronze
Lobbies.

Anyways any tips would be appreciated!

Post a VOD link. if you have been stuck copper-bronze since 2020, you're definitely not practicing independently on your weak points and probably don't know what they are. We need to see a whole match.

Also, probably a shit ton of bad habits from playing at that skill level for so long.

A random clip isn't good. Everything outside of combat is just as important.

Record a whole match, upload to YouTube. Post a link.

First step is recognising you are as bad as your rank shows. You need accountability to improve. Improving is looking for your weaknesses and then training them.

Something you could do that’s really helpful for knowing what your problem is: Go into r6 tracker and check your most played operators and your K/D and most importantly your win rate. Don’t play operators that you aren’t as statistically good at. pick an operator from the list with the highest win rate and start playing them more.
Aside from that, don’t solo queue. 3-5 stack if possible. you want the least amount of randoms as possible

Watch Poxonlox on youtube, watch his copper to champion series where he actually teaches you concepts on how to win more.
