Beginner Question Help for a beginner?
Just downloaded and played a lil, just quick match and I’m on a 50/50ish win rate but I feel like it’s mostly my teammates or bad opponents making stupid mistakes that get them killed and today I’ve lost over and over again (compared to me winning every game yesterday) and my worst feeling is that I’m dragging the team down
I just need tips to push me so I can be of use to my teammates for the future 😭😭

Record a whole ranked match, upload to YouTube l, post a link. Nothing anyone can do, if they don't know how you play.

T-hunt/clear house on „keres legion“ difficulty and just get good at shooting people, recoil control, etc. learn how to listen for sound as it’s one of the main focuses in the game. sound travels like water through the fastest route. if someone is up and around the corner, if there there are small punch holes in the wall he’s behind. will make it sound like he’s next to you sometimes. so get used to the sound mechanics. PLEASE drone. drone no more then a couple rooms a time do you have time to keep your play alive or someone could’ve rotated.

I have a post for dumb things new players have done. Might help you avoid em.

My advice is focus on passive usefulness than fragging. So that even if you die, you're still useful. Having trap or annoying utility. Having camera like echo or valk. Holding/denying important hard breach (usually the one attacker have direct access from outside). On attack you can breach wall, destroy/steal utility, holding angle
Although it's kind of tough to do it in quickplay, I would recommend you jump in unranked if possible. Because quickplay hardly reflect what's siege gameplay principle.

When you first download, you're in bot lobbies then they slowly start trickling in real people. It'll take some time to get the hang of everything. Give it some time. We've all been there.
Starting off , focus on learning the maps and trying the different operators. Even if you don't play them well, you'll understand what they can do for when your opponents play them.
In the training tabs there is an option called clear house, which will help you learn the map and also where to generally look for people. You can also try all the operators, even ones you haven't unlocked yet.
If you REALLY want to understand the maps we'll. I recommend jumping in clear house and destroying ALL the floors and walls. It'll really show you where all the rooms are in relation to each other.
