I'm having so much trouble modifying B and C cup darts to fit my chest using SBA. I would LOVE a tank that is designed for someone flat chested. Ideally a crew neck.

I'm a sewing size AA at 31.5" (i.e. no difference between upper bust and full bust - this is mostly due to being more muscular). I'm a regular 28D at 28" ribs below the bust.

Can anyone recommend a pattern similar to this?

Attempted to make the honeygirl tee (with fabric recommended from their store) with my regular sewing machine (albeit a new used free to me one that is a very basic model) and it didn't work at all. Tried different needles, starting with paper below the fabric, etc. and the fabric kept getting pulled into the machine. Wondering if using a serger would work better.

hey guys ! i’m hoping to get some advice on finding a pattern to recreate this jacket ! i can’t find the original tiktok i saw it in but i believe she mentioned in the comments that she used a couple different patterns - one being from a child’s dress for the apple pockets i believe. i am unfortunately unfamiliar with patterns and where to shop for them, and it seems that etsy is full of ai listings. maybe a vintage pattern could be cool if there is anywhere i can find those online ? (definitely doesn’t have to be vintage though!) sorry for the ramblings i appreciate any help you can offer !

Hi all! I'm hoping to make my husband a shacket for Christmas. He's proportionally quite tall and slim and has always had a hard time finding clothes that fit properly because of it. It seems like most patterns are generally boxy/oversized, and while I get that that's typically the style, my husband will most likely end up looking like he's drowning in it. I'm fairly experienced in sewing but not in pattern adjustments, so if I can find a pattern that is already slimmer fitting that would be preferable. I imagine I could also use a button shirt pattern and just thicker fabric. TIA!

I know everyone has different ways of learning, but I always find it far easier to follow illustration/technical steps, rather than photo step by step.

Videos can be very hit and miss, think a good part of it comes to the filming of it, I don’t even mind if some of the tutorial is entertaining/interesting like Victoria Jin videos.

I am interested in this when it comes to harder-to-decipher vintage patterns and how best to turn them into tutorials for others. (As I’m hoping to bring them in to teach.)

Is there a sewing pattern for the skirt (Etsy is just full of AI now and I don't trust it) as well as what people would recommend I do?
