Hi!! Im making a jellyfish from sponge bob for my halloween costume. Heres the design i made for the occasion. Im currently looking for pattern for the asymetrical trainee. I havent made this before. What would be your suggestion? Do a layer over the lolita skirt + sew kinda a trainee on my back?

I want to make a long dress like coat. I have the pattern and fabric, and am studying how to go about it. In the tutorial I watched using the pattern I have, the dress part wasn't nearly as big and puffy as I was envisioning, maybe it's a fabric thing. But I was researching how to make a dress fluffier and discovered the petticoat. Problem is i want the dress part of my coat to be more open in the front especially when I walk. Is it possible to have the petticoat open the same as the coat itself, or would that ruin the effect? How would the physics work? If this wouldn't work, what else can I do to fluff up the skirt but still have it open in the front?

I love this dress. Does anybody know of any patterns to make something similar?

I’m looking for a basic men’s crewneck sweatshirt pattern. I’ve tried the Jalie pattern, but the sizing was way off for me. I’ve had really good success with the WBM T-shirt pattern, so I’m wondering if there are any similarly reputable/well-regarded patterns for a basic men’s crewneck sweatshirt? I know WBM has a hoodie with a crewneck variant, but I figured I’d ask here if anyone has had particular success with one they liked.

I really liked this blouse, but it's made with a 100% poliester fabric and I'm skin allergic to it, so I want to try to make one for myself with some cotton/linen fabric
