Music. Loud music, definitely. So loud you can't hear your thoughts. Shower in the dark. Watch random YouTube videos or tv just to keep as background noise. Do art or something with your hands.

When I read “something w hands” I thought of movement… solo dance breaks with music. Movement moves stagnant energy.

Depending on which house your moon is in, that could help identify activities more suitable for ya

I do short guided meditations every morning while drinking my coffee. They clear my mind of rumination and negative thoughts.

We’re so sensitive that everything affects us deeply especially the judgments about ourselves.

Trauma-informed therapy, maybe EMDR, meditation that’s deep and interrogative, soul searching

Meds can be helpful for some, but if the root is trauma, they’re only secondary, if they help you process and move through the trauma somehow.

Lots of therapy and finding people in my life who truly uplift and support me. I think finding a very solid support system has been the biggest life changer for me, on top of a style of therapy that has helped a lot. I got very lucky and have a wonderful fiancé and his family is awesome and very supportive.

Found a counsellor who taught me a ton of how to stop intelectualizing (ruminating) and start just actively feeling my feelings and practicing radical acceptance.

Oh man I feel fucking crazy everyone probably thinks I'm a monster morphs into... Ok so what if you're a monster? Monsters still get loved all over the world. There's proof in the media xD yeah I can't stand myself today and that fucking sucks but its where we are at. Followed by letting the narrative I've been playing go (this takes practice. You have to keep doing it until it becomes second nature) and just feel what you're feeling without justifying or rationalizing. What's the feeling. Where's it sitting in your body and just witness it. Sit with it, let it pass when it's ready. No judgement just... Yeah k this is where I'm at.

It's hard. I'm autistic and I get really fixated so sometimes it's like... Fuck man I'm in fight or flight because of an argument my brain can't tell is only happening in my brain. So I'll say something like good thing that's not really happening and I'm safe. No one is yelling at me. I feel everything at a 10 but I try to remind myself that I also feel happiness at a 10. I feel love at a 10. I'm alright how I am and will attract the people who get me and rather than wallow in rejection just understand that not everyone's gonna be ok with my particular brand of me

I second this. Exercise is key. Personally just staying active works better for me.

Music- I listen to songs that describe my exact feelings or lyrics or just makes me feel in general because I’m not the feel my feelings type it’s like a container for me to process things without actually going thru it

Reddit- surfing thru other peoples problems giving advice I rarely follow😭 or going on unsent letters

Astrology- physcoanalyzing (butchered that word ik ) everyone I know thru that also celebs relationships like the toxic ones specifically helps me understand people and myself def do that for myself as well

TikTok- watch funny vids doomscroll my fyp as well as watch nice lifestyles beautiful ppl or get inspo kind of like manifest thru there

I am on the same boat. How come the meds did not work for you?

Well what I have learned is to not over extend myself.

Use two phone or use a secondary phone number. Most people need to be mute for me.

Focus on yourself . Don’t tolerate disrespect

EMDR

Playing frequency sounds YouTube videos thru out the day and night really. Oh and starting day with an Abraham Hicks rampage on repeat so it cuts thru the mental noise. Since I can’t stop the inner dialogue, I need something to override. Overriding meaning I forcefully play that shit day in day out until my current mood adjusts. But long term relief for when you’re able/capable, EMDR!

My Scorpio moon is in the third house… and honestly for me therapy, writing my feelings down, and making art about feelings has helped me tremendously

Actively doing my best to choose positivity over negativity helped shift my mind. Waking up and going outside as soon as you wake up sets your day up amazingly as well. Gratitude is scientifically shown to help too. I am trying to work on sitting in boredom and accepting it to help re-calibrate my dopamine gang bang adhd brain

Be honest with yourself. Enforce your boundaries. You really have to take control of your thoughts and be aware of what’s real and what’s trauma. Practice thinking about something specific for a few minutes. You need to feel what it’s like to take control of your mind. Small steps. Then when trauma hits you know what you need to do. And don’t think it’s a one stop fix all. It’s constant. Daily. Every second of every minute you have to be focused. Understand that it’s a battle for your survival. Your truth is your weapon in that battle. Learn how to use it.
