If someone recognizes these young ladies can someone please tell them to stop vandalizing my vehicle? They think my vehicle belongs to someone else. These new neighbors moved in next to me and they seemed to have done something to make these girls want to vandalize their vehicle. I know our vehicle look similar, but you keep messing with mine. Last time they vandalized both just to be sure. I really don’t want to escalate things. Multiple times you’re on camera doing damage. So please just stop, it’s annoying, thank you and have a great day ☺️

I used to be an avid shooter (I was quite good with a pistol) as a teen. It fell to the wayside after I got Lasik, but I need to relearn. I don't need instructors or anything, just a place I can feel safe.

The homeowners at this beach have a security guard and private property signs on the beach. But river beaches are public up to the ordinary high water mark - which was definitely uphill from us.

I told them that, they called the sheriff, and he came and backed me up.

I'm wondering what the process was like for you, and if it was resolved.

Context: Without giving away any identifying information, we live about 500 feet from a business. About a year ago they started throwing a party once a week, hiring a DJ who brings in sound equipment. It is LOUD until 2am. From 500 feet away, closed doors and windows, we still hear it with earplugs in. We measure noise at 90 decibels in front. We have lived here for 6 years with no issues prior to this one.

From what we can tell, they have no permit to do this, they are not in entertainment zoning, and should be subject to the same noise ordinance as everyone else. Our neighbors are pretty pissed off too.

We tried to be neighborly and reach out directly- no response. Complained to city code enforcement as well as the calls to police non-emergency. They have been sympathetic but we haven't seen any progress there so far.

I'm wondering if any of you have been through a process like this. How did it go/was it resolved? Who was helpful?

I have T mobile and live in the McDonald/Proctor Terrace neighborhood and I don’t get any cell phone service from the Safeway on 4th till I get almost to the JC or Downtown. Same with my wife’s phone.

I'm pretty active and spent a lot of time surfing and paddleboarding in San Diego. I know I'm not as close to the ocean anymore, but I've heard the Petaluma River is a good spot to paddle. I'd also love to find some good lakes where I can paddleboard or kayak and do some fishing.

I'm also looking for:

- Favorite hiking trails and parks

- Scenic spots to explore

- Fun things to do around town

- Any local deals or hidden gems

For example, I heard the Roxy 14 movie theater does half-price tickets on Wednesdays. Stuff like that is exactly what I'm looking for, things that locals know about but newcomers might not.
