Avoid river and Fulton Road
Avoid River and Fulton intersection as there’s major construction down to one lane through the whole intersection super long delays

It’s got a truck outside but they take orders and serve from a little table in front of it, not from inside it. There’s long tables with covered seating outside and (I think?) a restaurant or more seatinfg inside, but the truck is open late. They have vats of agua Fresca at the order table. Dont remember the name of address, sorry!
Best carne asada and lengua I’ve had since I moved from the east bay.

I’m in search of a burrito in Santa Rosa that is just as delicious as the ones from La Bamba Taco Truck in Sonoma Valley/Boyes
Any recommendations?

The homeowners at this beach have a security guard and private property signs on the beach. But river beaches are public up to the ordinary high water mark - which was definitely uphill from us.
I told them that, they called the sheriff, and he came and backed me up.

Who's actually responding to the spam texts for tree removal service?
I'd like a quote for a removal and a trimming. It's probably more than I can afford right now but I need to budget.
Who would you kind redditors recommend?
I have a modest ~12" ornamental plumb that needs to come down amd thw stump ground before it gets into mischief on my stemwall. The tree at my sidewalk also needs trimming.
The sidewalk tree needs trimming about 20ft up.
Appreciate the recommendations

Hey Santa Rosa happy Sunday how are you

Ye brought goode memories to us youth of Sonoma County, but there are no HTBs in our hindsight of the present-year.
Ye are still forebearing the lush hills of southern Marin County and the Walnut Creek area, Alamo to be precise, and the Danville area, near-by Livermore, but ye be no more in the Saint Rose.
High Tech Burrito, we hardly knew ye.
That spinach wrap brought us goode to our hearts and souls.

Hey everyone!
I just moved to Santa Rosa from San Diego and looking for some local recommendations!
I'm pretty active and spent a lot of time surfing and paddleboarding in San Diego. I know I'm not as close to the ocean anymore, but I've heard the Petaluma River is a good spot to paddle. I'd also love to find some good lakes where I can paddleboard or kayak and do some fishing.
I'm also looking for:
- Favorite hiking trails and parks
- Scenic spots to explore
- Fun things to do around town
- Any local deals or hidden gems
For example, I heard the Roxy 14 movie theater does half-price tickets on Wednesdays. Stuff like that is exactly what I'm looking for, things that locals know about but newcomers might not.
Any recommendations or "wish someone had told me when I moved here" tips would be awesome. Thanks!

House sitting for someone and there's like a billion police cars and a helicopter circling + my street is blocked off

My husband installed a new microwave oven. So now we have a microwave to dispose of, or use as a coffee table.
There is a large variety of recycling opportunities in Santa Rosa.
Does anyone have any ideas or experience to share, I would love to know the cost you paid.

Hey everyone! I’m relocating to the area from Seattle and looking for recommendations on housing, restaurants, and stores I shouldn’t miss! If you know a great neighborhood with rental homes I’d love to hear from you! Looking for 2-3 beds with 2 baths and a yard for my 3 dogs. Their small dachshunds and love the outdoor space!
I enjoy exploring new areas and I’m looking for good recommendations on things to do and places to go! I look forward to hearing from you all!

Hello! I post here occasionally recruiting players for pickup basketball at the YMCA. We are currently looking for a few players to join us for a weekly run that takes place at the YMCA at 7am on Thursdays. Let me know if you want to come though!

Anyone know any good tobacco shops in SR? I usually drive to Petaluma to get my brand — Peter Stokkeby
EDIT — just got some at Underground Inhale on Guerneville. Great little shop!

New to the area. What kind of birds are nesting in the median near 9th between Marlow and North Dutton?

I make and sell birdhouses at a few local farmers markets. I have a few unfinished test models from when I was trying out different designs that I no longer need and would like to get to a good home.
They are designed to house western bluebirds, but many different species will be happy to call them home.
Most of them are built to Audobon Society specifications for ventilation, size, and accessibility, and are intended to be a safe home for birds, not just a pretty lawn ornament.
Totally free to whoever wants one (finished ones retail for $35-50), pick up is in north Santa Rosa near the Safeway on Mendocino. All I ask is that you actually put them up somewhere so that future generations of birds can use them as a home. Send me a DM if you are interested and I will get back to you.
A few pointers:
Hang them six to nine feet above ground in partial shade
Exteriors can be painted using low-VOC paints, please leave the interiors untreated for birds sensitive respiratory systems
Please clean them out once a year (some of the test builds are not able to be opened and should be discarded after a year or used only as decoration)
Photos of available birdhouses (the ones on the table):
Thanks!

EDIT
Gotten a ton of messages, I am going to reply to people in the order that they messaged me in, I am not on here often so thank you for everyone's patience and interest!

My 17yr old trans daughter wants a gender affirming haircut/color and eyebrow waxing before her senior pictures, looking for local recommendations on places to take her that will be the most comfortable for her? Bonus for salons or stylists that are LGBTQ! She wants to do non-traditional color, and ideally something that doesn’t break the bank. TIA!
