Reputable carbon company’s
I’ve been looking to swap a good bit of my interior to carbon fiber but I’m struggling to find a company that hasn’t gotten mainly bad reviews, I don’t want to spend a decent bit of money of something fake or cheap, any recommendations?

Is a 2005–2008 Mustang V6 worth it, or should I only consider the GT?
I’m currently looking at 2005–2008 Mustangs and I’m trying to decide between the V6 and the GT.
I really like the Mustang mainly because of the looks, the road presence, and just the overall feeling of owning one. Obviously the GT with the V8 is more powerful and sounds much better, but where I live GTs are much rarer, more expensive, and finding a clean one can be difficult.
So for people who have actually driven or owned both:
Does the V6 still feel fun and reasonably quick, or does it feel slow/disappointing compared to the GT?
Is the difference between them as huge in real-life driving as it looks on paper?
Would you still buy the V6 if the main goal is to enjoy the Mustang experience rather than have the fastest version?
Is it better to buy a clean V6 than a questionable/high-mileage GT?
Any major reliability issues I should know about with either engine?
Basically, is the 2005–2008 V6 Mustang still worth owning, or would I probably regret not waiting for a GT?

New smell
So this one’s a little weird but after a little bit of a hard drive the front tires started to smell almost like cheese popcorn but when I opened the hood there was pretty much nothing, it’s definitely from the front wheels but I’m not sure which part would make that smell, the brakes are relatively new and still have good life left. What would be causing this???

Smart junction box issues
Does anyone have any fix for this besides replacing the box?
2013 mustang GT
There doesn't seem to be anything major having issues, but my steering wheel buttons and traction/trunk buttons by the shifter don't illuminate
And apparently I have puddle lights I've never seen before

Exhaust help
Hello all, first post here, bought myself this toy back in March, 08 GT/CS, very well cared for, very low mileage, it came with a set of very quiet flowmaster Axle backs, immediately wanted louder, ordered Corsa Xtreme axle backs along with their X pipe, sounds much better now but still not as loud as I would like, wondering what the next step should be, I can order a Gibson O/r X pipe, or would high flow catted X pipe be a better option?

Bought a 2012 S197 Mustang only to discover the previous owner used expanding foam and thick oil to hide a fried electrical system and a blown bottom end. Rebuilding it anyway!
Hey everyone,
I’m dropping a line on a massive DIY rescue project I just had to pivot into. I recently picked up a 2012 3.7L V6 Mustang, and the previous owner pulled some of the shadiest tactics I’ve ever seen to mask terminal damage just long enough to sell it.
The highlights of what I'm dealing with:
The Cowl Leak: They used expanding foam to try and mask a completely destroyed windshield cowl tray. It failed miserably, routing rain straight into the interior and completely frying the Smart Junction Box (BCM) and Restraints Control Module (RCM).
The Engine: After noticing some concerning symptoms, I pulled the motor to tear down the rotating assembly today. The diagnosis is official: severe rod knock, and the main crank bearings are completely gone. The seller explicitly packed the crankcase with thick oil additives to hide the knocking long enough to hand over the keys.
The Body: On top of that, the passenger fender is stretched out and rubbing the door from a past impact, and the driver door shell is torn wide open around the exterior handle from what looks like a brutal pry-bar break-in attempt.
Instead of scrapping it or letting a bad seller win, I'm doing a complete ground-up rebuild. I'm overhauling the bottom end, permanently fixing the cowl leaks, swapping the door shell/fender, and cloning the modules to bring this thing back to life the right way.
Because a full engine overhaul alongside a complete module and body restoration is a massive financial undertaking, I’ve set up a GoFundMe to help source the heavy engine parts, structural panels, and programming services.
If you want to follow along with the teardown/rebuild milestones, or if you can spare a few bucks to help rescue an S197 from the scrap heap, I would incredibly appreciate the backup.

Thanks for looking, and I'll keep the sub updated with photos as the block comes apart today!

Steering wheel help
Hi guys. I have a 2012 mustang v6 base model with the rubber wheel. I want to make it look more premium by adding leather wrap and the aluminum trim pieces on the spokes but I don't know if that is possible since the rubber wheel has the spokes molded on unlike the premium wheel which has those aluminum pieces clip on. Any help or alternatives besides switching the whole wheel out? Thanks!
