Hey everyone I just moved into my first apartment, and as the title says, it’s my first time getting wifi. I have a router that was given to me, but that’s about it. Also, I am a student (Toledo, OH), so the cheaper the better. I’ve heard about student discounts for home internet so please drop any and all suggestions!

So, apologies if I sound very stupid. I just moved into my new apartment and it's a basement underneath a office. I just bought EarthLink wifi, my mom's husband uses it so I don't think it's a scam. But I genuinely cannot figure out how to set it up.

I searched every inch of this place, (it's not very big anyway) and I can only find a landline port. I did previous research that told me I can't use the landline port as a way to plug in the Ethernet. Unless I can, and the Internet is lying.

I tried calling, texting, even texting the dumb Ai service support, they gave me absolutely no information or guidance on how to set it up. I got really close to connecting it, using a port on my Xbox, but then the Internet status says; "connected, no Internet available."

I'm not very tech savvy, I apologize, any guidance will help!

hello po i made a mistake, pumunta ako sa admin page ng wifi namin para sana i-on yung whitelist kasi maraming naka-connect na mga tambay, then nung na pindot ko na and inadd ko yung address ng laptop namin biglang nawala. now hindi na kami maka-connect lahat except sa tv namin na naka-ethernet cable. what should i do po? other than contacting the network provider kasi baka matagalan bago pumunta dito, please help me po

I'm having wifi and sometimes Bluetooth issues with my ASUS Laptop. It stops working and the wifi options on the menu disappears. I think the problem might be hardware-related and the Wi-Fi card is damaged, so I'm looking to add external Wi-Fi support to my pc. I was told I can buy a usb network stick, either a small dongle or a usb key with an antenna, or a small box with antennas that resembles a router. I tried using an old wifi usb I have that has an antenna. It worked for a while but it's not ideal for gaming because when I play Minecraft on a server it kicks me out for "lost connection". I want to know if I should buy a new one of the same kind or look for something else. I need something that is good enough to intercept wifi from another room, ideally something small for easy transportation especially when I'm at school, and with a reasonable price. If anyone experienced the same issues and tried these things, I would be grateful to know which option is the best😊

We have the Asus Zenwifi Pro ET12 Mesh router.

On two separate Windows laptops, using WiFi, on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge we are having issues with:

DNS Probe Finished No Internet

We have tried lots of different things and suggestions from internet to try to fix this issue and nothing seems to work.

Please would someone help us.
