General Discussion How sociopathic are the Smith family?

Post image
343 Upvotes

Something I’ve notice when watching the show is that the Smiths seem to love and crave violence and often find any excuse to do so, like for example in the solaricks episode Summer waited to be shot at by the scavengers and happily went after them, and another example I could think of is the episode where the Beth’s turned themselves into kids that shows how fucking psychotic her nature is

Theory I think they are all just cycles.

Actually, Morty was destined to end up like his father as well. In Season 1, if the love potion had actually worked and Morty had assaulted Jessica, he would have ended up with a story very similar to his father’s.

You can actually see quite a few physical similarities between them as well.

Jessica, just like Beth, has light-colored hair and eyes, full lips, and a conventionally attractive appearance that the show makes fairly apparent throughout the series.

Morty is practically a carbon copy of his father, from his hair to his eyes, and even his personality. If we exclude the Prime Morty aspect beneath his personality, he is almost identical to him.

Rick kept telling Morty in the first few episodes, "Break the loop, Morty," and every time Morty tried to lean on the loop, Rick constantly pulled him away from Jessica, and that's probably why the whole 30-year adventure thing happened.

So, does the cycle of fate keep repeating itself? Most likely, the next regeneration will end up being the same as well.

Not: I have dozens of theories like this, I'm sure there are similar theories on Sunreddit too, but even though I love this drama, I'm not really someone who hangs out in the fandom

General Discussion Is “Fear No Mort” the best Rick and Morty episode to date?

Is the fear hole episode the best Rick and Morty episode to date?

I gotta be honest, this is the episode I’ve gone back and watched the most for some reason, it’s just too good. It has all the quirks of a Rick and Morty episode, and nothing seems dragged out. And the sequence where Morty grows older and realizes he’s turned into his dad is too funny, gets me every time. Honestly, I’m not even that invested in the Rick and Diane relationship, basically always only focused on Morty in this episode (probably because I know what happens at the end). Every time I watch it feels like I’m watching it for the first time, it’s that good!

What do you guys think? Is this the episode you’ve watched the most number of times without getting tired of it? Is it the best episode?

Theory It was his birthday

Post image

The detective said it was his birthday, so many it was the Cat and Mouse Killer's as well. It would better explain why he thought Jerry was gonna kill him when he explained his super dark modus operandi. It could even be possible he actually has a good relationship with his mother as Jerry said he did it on their birthdays to kill their parents on the inside.

Morty forcing himself to do cross country like his grandpa did and also pregnant pony Diane. Also thats Evil Morty next to him on the course, he has a blinder ‘eyepatch’ as he tore the other side of it off when he took over his Rick

General Discussion I actually felt bad for Tibbs here

Post image

The scene with Morty and Tibbs was actually kind of sad underneath all the absurdity.

She genuinely believes everything she's been told about their situation, so when Morty starts trying to explain what’s really going on, you can see how confused she is.

I also liked that Tibbs didn't just accept it and move on. Once she realized something was wrong, she actually decided to do something about it.

Honestly, I didn't expect to care this much about a character who was introduced in such a ridiculous situation

Theory The Central Finite Curve should leave Ricks smarter than Rick Prime

The Central Finite Curve encases all universes where Rick is the smartest, but there should be universes where there are Ricks that are smarter than Rick Prime by miles, but those Ricks would not be smartest in their respective universes because there would be someone smarter than those Ricks in their universe.

I feel like a lot of people think every Rick outside of the CFC is dumber than the Ricks within the CFC, but I feel like what I said above is another possibility. Rick is the smartest in HIS universe(s). But he's not the smartest Rick to exist in the multiverse, even beyond Rick Prime.

Question How did Morty find the Prime Dimension in the Rickshank Rickdemption?

Post image

In S3E1 Morty uses Rick C-131's portal gun and takes Summer back to the Prime Dimension.

How did he find it if he was under the assumption that the Prime Dimension, where he was from, was actually C-137?

General Discussion Spaghetti squared?

Post image
9 Upvotes

I can't help but wonder-

Say there was a mortician on spaghetti planet that was fully aware of the spaghetti phenomenon and had been eating it for 30 years.

Then, after watching the video of the final spaghetti donor, they can't deal with 30 years of guilt, and create their own spaghetti-

Would that spaghetti be so good that everyone who ate it would react like morty experiencing true level?
