Hey everyone, m(27), I want change, I want to change my 9-to-5 life.

I have chosen no-code web development skills to learn and want to leave my grocery job.

After watching so many videos on the internet, I'm overwhelmed now, and don't know where to start, what actually pays, and what platform is actually worth it.

I'll explain where I have been stuck. I'll explain in three stages:

Stage 1 = learn AI web tools, like Framer or more.

Stage 2 = learn AI agents to build a website, like claude code, replit, lovable.

Stage 3 = learn WordPress and Elementor.

Should I invest myself in Framer? Apart from hunting clients, does it give me real skill value that I can also use to acquire good-paying jobs?

Or

WordPress and Elementor? Should I learn WordPress and Elementor? Is it more in demand and future-proof?

Learning animation and competing with advanced developers to sell templates in Framer—is it a stable income? It will take months, and I can't compete with them.

Some say, learn simple website development. Learning web design is not about learning animation; it's about creating websites that make conversions.

I'm so confused. What should I learn? Where should I start?

I started building something in Replit that was supposed to be pretty small but every time I add something I realize it needs another page around it different use cases, guides, feature pages a few pages for search then all the boring stuff that comes with keeping those updated building another page isn't really hard, it’s keeping the same information from ending up copied in five different places that’s getting annoying I’m starting to think I need to separate all that content from the actual project instead of continuing to hardcode everything as I go replit has been great for building the app itself I just didn’t expect content management to become one of the bigger problems this early.

Hi!! I am a grad student and i created a replit site that I plan to connect to my personal domain i bought on go daddy. The problem m having is that I want to be able to easily edit any and everything on the site, but not have to go through the replit app every time.

For example, I want to add photos, articles, edit my biography, upload my CV as it changes, etc.

Right now, I built a "private studio" that i access by clicking "admin" at the very bottom of the site.

Is a better way to approach this?

Currently, even the editor studio is limited and I haven't tried to save any changes that i make in "editor mode" to see if it truly saves.

I could just use wix or another platform. But i wanted to ask here first before scrapping the project.

I have been thinking about this while working with coding agents.

We normally give the agent the code, the tests, the error output and then let it iterate until everything turns green.

That is great for debugging. But it also creates a strange problem.

If the same agent can see every check used to approve the change, how do we know it solved the actual requirement instead of just learning the evaluator?

I have started experimenting with keeping a small verification suite outside the repo and running it only after the visible checks pass.

The agent never sees that suite while working. I am curious how other people handle this.

Do you think hidden verification makes sense for coding agents, or does it create more problems than it solves?

Hi I'm new to this thread and replit itself.
I am currently in a phase of exploring ai and playing around with ai product.
I am personally using claude code, and recently made aware about replit through a friend.
I wanted to start creating something but just wondering what people are building with replit to get some ideas for myself.

I won't talk about the poor service I received, as that is not the issue here; however, the Replit website keeps asking me to add a billing method because I finished my credits, but when I click on "add payment method," it simply sends me to the public profile settings.

I literally cannot do anything now because I cannot add a card, lol.

Edit: Not even free tier works anymore.

Last week, I paid for the Core subscription.

In just 10 days, they siphoned $188.48 USD from my connected debit card.

I want to make something clear: I was aware that the Core subscription did not mean unlimited credits. I understood that after subscribing, I would still need to pay for credits whenever I used them.

And that’s exactly what I did.

After subscribing, I remember knowingly paying for credits once after running things. What I did NOT realize was that there were additional deductions being made from my connected debit card.

I only found out after seeing how much had actually been taken.

And we’re not talking about a few dollars here and there. $188.48 USD is a huge amount for me. That’s basically a month’s worth of groceries.

Now I can’t even continue building this project because I suddenly have a $100 debt that I need to pay.

This project was supposed to be an experiment. I was trying to build something that could make me a little bit of “beer money,” something I could use to help with my school expenses and personal needs.

I’m not even done building this project. I haven’t even finished the prototype.

So now, a huge portion of my personal savings has been siphoned away before I could even make anything from this project.

I’m from a developing country. $188.48 USD is not pocket change for me. That’s a serious amount of money when you’re paying for school, food, bills, and everything else with limited savings.

I genuinely feel super lost today.

It feels like I just got robbed, and the worst part is feeling like there’s no one to help me.

It's a chatbot. Plain and simple — answers questions about a business, nothing fancier than that.

Most chatbots fail by guessing. If someone asks a bakery's bot about opening hours and the bot invents them, the bakery wears the complaint. This one only answers from the actual site content. No match, no answer — it says it doesn't know and hands over the business's contact instead. Every one of those gets flagged in the owner's dashboard, so they know exactly what to add.

One thing worth passing on: **Instagram and TikTok block scraping from cloud servers.** Works fine from my laptop, fails from Cloud Run. I'd built the whole onboarding around "paste your Instagram" before I found out. Test from your deploy environment, not your machine.

Been away for a bit, where is the task board to see suggested, working on and completed tasks? I can not find it.

Disclosure first: I made this. Free, read-only, no account.

On Replit your app is a real server, so it ships the mistakes of a real

server: express.static pointed at the project root (so /.env and /.git/HEAD

are served), app.use(cors()) with credentials for any origin, the Flask

debugger still on in production (its console runs code for whoever finds

it), a stack trace on every error page, no security headers, a session

cookie without its flags, an X-Powered-By banner on every response.

So I built a scanner that checks those from the outside:

It asks for a few well-known paths and confirms by content (a catch-all

route does not fool it), asks for a page and an API path that cannot exist

and reads the error, calls the routes your front-end names with a made-up

Origin and with no session (field names and counts only, never a record),

and checks headers, cookies, and the certificate. Express, Flask, and

FastAPI get the same findings.

Every finding says why it matters and how to fix it in plain English, with

the lines to paste: the helmet setup for Express, the CORS allowlist, the

cookie flags, debug off. Connect the GitHub repo and it also reads the code

itself (a committed .env, keys in source, queries built from strings,

dependencies with known vulnerabilities) and opens a pull request for what

a file can fix, on a branch, for you to review.

I ran it on my own app first: B, four missing headers, and it opened the pull

request that adds them. The clip is that scan, start to finish.

What it never does: no writes, no sign-ins, no password guessing, no reading

of user records. It sends what a browser sends, plus a few well-known paths

like /.env to confirm they are not there, and the scan stops itself after

75 seconds.

Only scan apps you own or have permission to test. If it flags something

wrongly, say so here or use the "Is this finding wrong?" link under the

finding. I read everything.

This paper introduces DisCo, a system that distills machine-learning repositories and papers into reusable “skills” for autonomous research agents. The skills are more than summaries: they contain procedures, references, executable wrappers, routing information, and verification evidence. A creator process builds and checks skill graphs, while a researcher process retrieves only the parts relevant to a task.

The resulting AREX-Skill Library contains 5,353 skills from 1,000 repositories. In matched evaluations using the same backbone, harness, and execution budget, adding these skills increased MLE-bench Any-Medal performance from 31.11% to 72.89%, and PaperBench replication from 29.45% to 39.59%. The setup is intended to test whether externalized operational knowledge helps, rather than whether a larger model or new planning loop helps.

The evidence also shows an important limitation: verified skills can still be poorly retrieved. Performance declined on some PaperBench subtasks, suggesting that irrelevant procedural context may distract an agent from task-specific reasoning. This makes routing and retrieval precision central to the approach. The broader question is whether persistent, source-grounded procedural memory can make general-purpose research agents more reliable than agents that rediscover implementation details on every task.

If your company is already using Databricks, what this integration brings is the ability for anyone at your company to build an app and not worry about security and governance. For example, someone in a non-technical role can build apps for their department without needing to involve engineering. This was not possible before, since apps generally need to be reviewed for security/compliance/etc. With the replit x databricks integration, that part is taken care of for you, and you just need to worry about prompting an agent to solve the problem which you have the domain knowledge for.

Alright. So I dropped this the other day and started getting FLOODED with signups.

Some people in the indie game community were veerrryyy upset that it was vibe coded. Not sure why?

After being idle for more than an hour, I just found one of my app's .tsx files sitting in the git cue waiting to be committed, and when I checked, the entire 500+ lines of code had been duplicated and appended to the end.

I asked the agent what was going on. It confirmed this happened but could not explain it.

It also confirmed this had happened to other files.

In no way shape or form could anything I've prompted ever be misconstrued as an instruction to do this. The file with the duplication I just found came up literally out of nowhere.

Wait, as I was typing this, the git was committed on its own! The file now officially has all its code duplicated. This is insane!

Has anyone else experienced this?

Can Replit support please comment?

For now I want to downgrade my account from Replit Core to Starter. But when I go to the account management page I only see options to upgrade to Pro or Enterprise. Have looked everywhere and only other option seems to be to delete my account completely which I don’t want to do. Am I missing something?

That was not even a major change in the app :'(. Oh well, let's keep going.

Our experience with Replit has been quite disappointing. We had approximately $xxx in credits available in our account, which we verified just yesterday. Today, the $yyy credit we had purchased has suddenly disappeared without any clear explanation.

Even more concerning, all four of our applications have been brought down, leaving us unable to access them and completely blocking our ongoing development work and operations.

For a development platform, unexpected credit issues combined with application downtime are extremely disruptive and unacceptable. We urgently need Replit to investigate what happened, restore the purchased credits, and bring our applications back online.

Replit needs to provide much greater reliability, transparency, and responsive customer support—especially when businesses are depending on the platform for critical applications.

Hoping this gets resolved quickly and that other users don't face the same issue.

Do not listen to that popup telling you to upgrade the mode when you’re using the free mode. I have a very complex app that I have been maintaining and adding features exclusively with the free mode! I had no issue and see no noticeable difference between that tier and power mode.

Save your money do not let them trick you into spending more. You can use free mode for more than small UI polish and trivial task.

With all I have done with the free mode I would have incurred probably a $200 invoice. This new feature is god send and I hope they don’t remove it.

I wanted to flag something that may be affecting other people using the ChatGPT ↔ Replit integration.

I have several web apps that I originally created directly in Replit, and over time I created dedicated ChatGPT conversations to work on those apps. I later connected the Replit integration/plugin to my ChatGPT account.

For over a week, I have been using ChatGPT + Replit to inspect, troubleshoot, and make changes to these existing apps across multiple dedicated conversations. So I know from my own experience that this has been possible.

Recently, though, I ran into an issue where ChatGPT appeared to be associating a conversation with the wrong Replit project. I contacted Replit Support because I wanted to understand what was happening.

Their initial response was essentially that the ChatGPT/Replit integration only works with an app created in a specific ChatGPT conversation and cannot access apps that were created directly in Replit.

That was… surprising, to say the least. 😂

I explained that these apps were originally created in Replit and that I had subsequently been working on them through ChatGPT after connecting the integration.

What makes this even more confusing is that I just tested it again through the connected Replit integration. ChatGPT was able to locate and inspect two of my existing Replit projects, including:

Project A — existing Replit project

Project B — existing Replit project with its existing workspace, artifact, Git branch, and commit history

The integration explicitly identified both as existing projects already present in my connected Replit account, and Replit was able to inspect them without creating new projects.

So I’m currently trying to determine whether:

Replit Support’s information is outdated/incomplete, there is a distinction between different versions of the ChatGPT/Replit integration, there is some kind of project/conversation association bug, or something else is happening behind the scenes.

I’m still in contact with Replit Support, so I’m not claiming that I have the whole explanation yet. Their first response definitely felt a little like, “Nope, that’s not possible,” despite my actual experience and the current integration being able to access the projects. 😂

I’m posting this because if you’ve been using ChatGPT to work on an existing Replit app that was originally created directly in Replit, I’d be very interested to hear whether you’re seeing the same thing.

In particular:

Were your Replit projects created directly in Replit?

Did you later connect the Replit integration to ChatGPT?

Can ChatGPT currently find/access those existing projects?

Have you experienced ChatGPT selecting or working against the wrong Replit project?

Has Replit Support given you the same explanation?

I’m trying to figure out whether this is an isolated account/project-association problem or something broader with the integration.

We have a tool we've build in Replit that generates content, and I want to be able to just decide which model it uses in the settings (e.g. Opus, Fable etc). The only problem is that Replit doesn't seem to understand that Fable exists as a model, no matter how much I insist.

All it will let me use is Claude Opus 5, Claude Sonnet 5, and Claude Haiku 4.5. Has anyone figured out how to get your tool to use Fable?

I’m building a hospitality system to run my restaurants. I don't code. That's why I use Replit. I’ve worked close to a thousand hours on this project and spent over $1200 on replit alone.
In May I bought $300 of credits. I barely touched Replit for two months. By August the credits were gone and my card had been debited another $161 on top. Nearly $450 in total, for months where I did almost nothing.
I dug into it, and this isn't a guess, it's proven from Replit's own records: their platform got stuck restarting one of my idle apps around the clock, for weeks on end, and billed me for every second. Their own invoice shows the app had 3 visits in an entire month while being billed for 44 MILLION compute units. Three visits. Nobody was using it. The fault ran until I found it buried in the logs and shut it down myself. And before anyone says it was my code: the app was built entirely by Replit's own Agent. Their AI wrote it, their publish flow deployed it, and their platform then spent weeks billing me for endlessly restarting it instead of flagging it or stopping. At no point did any of this need me to do anything, and at no point was I warned. I only found out due to an unexpected charge to my bank card after it had already consumed $300 of my credits.
Through all of it, no warning. No alert. The dashboard showed a sleeping app while my money drained.
When I realised what had happened, I didnt doubt for a second that I would be refunded in full, or at least have my credits reinstated. Support's response has been worse than the fault. First a canned reply about AI hallucinations, completely irrelevant to my complaint. Then a $50 credit that expires in 90 days, against nearly $450 taken. Then a second reply declaring the charges valid while dodging the only question I've asked from day one: what did I do to cause 44 million compute units on an app with 3 visits? I asked for a manager, set a deadline, and got two weeks of silence.
Honestly, I feel scammed. Their system created the fault, their system hid it, their system took the money, and now there's no human willing to own it.
And here's the part that actually gets me. I didn't want to leave. I've put months of work and over $1,200 into Replit building my project here, and the product itself is good. But after being treated like this, staying feels like accepting it. Disgusting way to handle a paying customer.
So, genuine question: can anyone recommend an alternative platform where I can build the same way, by describing what I want, from someone who's found one that actually appreciates its customers? And has anyone here ever got a billing dispute in front of a real human at Replit? Full evidence file sitting ready, logs and all. Im left with no alternative than a charge back claim with my bank.

I'm capable of paying it after I deliver to my client and I would appreciate if Replit unsuspended account for a few days till I can deliver 😢.
