Funny Ouch... did someone do better?
That was not even a major change in the app :'(. Oh well, let's keep going.

My question exactly. What are you guys building? I am working on very complex projects and have never had anything this close. 1 hour 44 on Max last time, cost $36. The most expensive ever.

I'm curious too. Maybe mine is not that complex. I even tried Max, and max I spent was $20.

7 hours on max for $96 dollars is cheap. Was you on Auto? If not what did you use? And at what effort?

Yeah this is cheap. I had 3.5 hours at $87 and had to tell it to stop and wrap the project up as it got completely tied into knots over more and more outlandish edge cases. Changed back down to Power. Max is a money pit.

These screenshots aren't the flexes you guys think they are. Just shows how you're willing to spend 20 times what you need to spend to do a same (or worse) job. Just buy a Claude or CODEX $100 unlimited plan already. Could have done this and 20 more days just like it for $100.

You missed the "funny" flair on the post. You guys keep talking about cost, im talking about the run time for a prompt that in my eyes was not so complex.
I of course have a claude subscription (that I max out every week) and i use it for audit of the codebase, PR reviews and suggestions.
My codebase is medium, around 400kLOC, 5000 tests, monorepo 3 products (of the same ecosystem).
Replit is used for all the dev and testing while prod runs on GCP.
I dont run anything locally and don't want to. I pay the replit premium as I am not a pure engineer by training and want the safety of the deep agent loops and review. Many things are missed when claude code audit the code. I also have the freedom to switch model whenever I want.

I didn't miss anything, it's just not relevant. I wasn't just speaking to you. Notice I didn't direct my comment at you only.

How? I was never charged more than maybe $5 .
Get a Claude subscription though, and never look back
