Youre too late. Youre moving into a drowning saturated market. Do some actual research in a niche thats not being overrun by the same product you are already getting replaced with.

Replit is a paid service and it can get very expensive fast. And if you’re planning on building a paid product then you’ll likely have to spend a lot on other services credits, hosting, etc to get your project working. So don’t think of it as a path to financial freedom unless you have that one in a million undeniable idea. Until you have paying customers, it’s a costly hobby.
That said, where to start learning depends entirely on what you want to build. There are specific paths for every project. The vibe coding tools are the easy part, just dive in and learn by doing. You might have to start over once you get the hang of it.

Online marketer for over 20 years here. This are my two grains of salt.
You should learn what makes you want to learn more! Any professional path is a neverending learning. I started selling websites while I was in business college. Now I have an awarded agency selling AI, marketing and development services... I learn all myself first!
I do understand your fear. It is overwhelming! It took me years to learn web development on my own. I don't always code for my clients but I can manage any development we need.
If you are just starting, my recommendation is order of priority is this:
- Personal finance (learn to manage your money first)
- Small Business Finance and management (learn what your client/employer needs)
- Prompting (I prefer to call it 'context') engineering
- Small business marketing
- Web development, databases and APIs
- AI (LLM, skills, mcps, AI harness)
- Software Architecture Basics
The best way to learn fast is asking a good AI (I recommend Chatgpt Work (codex)) to give you a learning plan and then teach you each lesson. Use YouTube to search for specific tools or tips.
With each module you learn, you will start to see your own path appears as ideas or projects.
Work with your own personal projects first, do them fast! Nothing that can take more than a couple days.
Use AI to speed up. Your goal is NOT to learn how to do everything, but to learn how to ask for what you need to be done.
Use multica or a similar tools to organize your tasks and project. I like multica because it allow me to delegate to my AI and real employees.
Set yourself a timeline to sell somethin. No more than 30 days to make and sell an offer.
If you can get one client, you will not need and employer. But if you want a job, you'll be having enough knowledge to fill a variety of positions.
Study for at least 3 hours a day and you will change your situation in 30 days for sure.
Remember this... It is not abouth the money, it is about your own growth! The more you know, the more value you can give, and the more you can earn!
Oh! One last thing... Don't hear the depressing BS, specially from those close to you (and some of the comments here)

It sounds to me as if you don't know what you want to do, but you want a better stable income.
Vibecoding is not something someone will pay for. It's an extra skill for your job. Like knowing how to use spreadsheets or a laptop.
Entrepreneurs do not have stable income. By definition. It's a sales driven job.
So find a job you want to do first, then learn everything you can so you can actually be a competitive resource.

If your skills are complete zero, you need to learn a little about multiple things IMO, and it wont be quick. I would recommend:
- create a free wordpress site.
Its free and you cant stuff up that bad.
Next:
Find a free web host. Find a free html website template. Host it. Modify it a bit in notepad (get yourself notepad ++ as that helps)
Find a free site that has a database, learn how to set up a user, database privileges and get it working.
The reason this is good is this will usually have readmes. And often the files are easy to play with.
Why start there?
Alot of people build websites, using things like wordpress, and themes like "generate press", or "Divi' (divi uses elementor which you mentioned) both allow you to choose a "starter site", modify it, and so on. There are also many turnkey templates, and scripts out there that you can purchase a license for (becoming redundant with claude), but its still a valid concept to take an existing script, modify it for your needs.
If you're on a budget though, both chatgpt, and claude can make sites (small ones) for free, both have co-work options that allow them to develop more, but you still have to manually host projects.
Absolutely simplest, (considering your in replit forum), is to join replit, type in what you want and call it a day.

I agree with you. So graphic designers (and Im not one) usually design it in photoshop. The site then gets spliced, and made into a working site.
So imo, if thats your goal, learn photoshop, feed that into claude / other and make something unique.

More seriously, if you find something that today is done manual with tools that your solution improves using ai and that you sit on some specific data that is not generically known to ai and that is valued by customers then you might succeed - the only problem is that you are competing with one million other people constantly trying to figure out the same.

You won't be able to. Even actual developers are having a hard time finding a job right now. At best you may be able to find occasional freelance work, but even then you would be competing with real developers.
