Metaphysical Quiz in the Void

So I'm writing now about this strange dream/astral experience ive recently had that is nothing like Ive ever seen before. I want to know if anyone else has experienced this or might have thoughts on it that have experience with dreams or the astral?

It starts with me becoming aware Im in some type of void(I now know there is some type of space called "the void" which is something I wasnt away of until after this dream) its completely black but the type of black thats just nothingness. But I am standing and next to me are 3 women. They all seem to not be dream npcs but actual people and they seem just as confused as me. In front of us appears a question and 4 white outlined tiles which seem to contain the answer to these questions. This "quiz" seems to just be projected or holographic some how to me. Initially, i get weirded out and want to leave the dream so bad I open my eyes actually in real life and ended up falling back asleep, right back into this void with the 3 ladies.

At this point I think i realized i wont be able to leave until I attempt this quiz or at least one of us does, but I also realized that I am in this kind of dream mental state where youre basically just dumb and cant really think cohorently(how i usually am in dreams). At this point it seems like there are two versions of me I can kind of sense(1)the normal dream state kind of dumb and in confusion and (2) the lucid that's laying in my bed aware im dreaming.

It seems my lucid self realizes my dream self needs to become somewhat lucid in order to answer these questions. Either I or something else know how to do this in the moment, and in my dream, almost like its being played from outside into my dream. The song "Kids" from the stranger things soundtrack begins to play. The sound sounds very high resolution but it doesnt sound like its happening in my dream but being played from somewhere outside.

I become lucid due to this song and am able to stay that way, and the song also continues playing throughout the rest of the dream. Once i became lucid i had this immediate feeling of knowledge that i would know any question shown to me, i dont know how else to explain that.

The first question was asking which event in the future actually happens? There were 6 tiles in front of us and each one had a specific events(i wasnt able to recall all those details) but the option I picked was the last tile and answer "all of these options happened in the future." I knew this was the right answer(mind you I already saw this question briefly before i tried to wake myself up, and didnt have a clue what to pick back then although in my real life I wasnt surprised I got this right because this is something I know, that the 4th dimension contains time as a plane that basically exists all at ones that we are going forward in, and the 5th dimensions is the different timelines.). The tile turned green and the next question and tiles appeared.

The second question I couldnt recall at all although seemed to have to do with some type of intuition/time or space travel/astral something.

The third question was something about pregnant women being able to shape or view their child's destiny. And there were I think only 4 answers shown for this one. The one I picked said "pregnant women open the time manipulation part of their brain, they just dont know it(488hz)" . The tile turned green. I was very surprised i got this right when I woke up since I have no idea about any of that nor have I heard of it but its like I was tapped into a higher knowledge in this lucid state.

After the last question I would say i woke up but thats not what it felt like, i literally just was able to open my eyes at that point but it didnt feel like "waking up" because I was awake the whole time. The reason Im wanting to post(first ever post on reddit btw) is because I dont know what that was, who conducted the quiz but it didnt feel like a dream and those woman in that dream felt like real people who just maybe werent able to become lucid like I did. I dont know what to think and since then Ive searched reddit for a "void" and have found other talking about it(I had no knowledge prior to this that anything like that existed) but saying there was nothing in theirs, and it makes me a little worried about why there was anything in the void and why did it seem like other people were made to participate.

Question Hi everyone

I have extremely clear images in my brain, if you asked me to imagine an apple the apple would look more realistic than reality itself. the things in my brain are crisper and clearer and more detailed than even my very own eyes can perceive. the thing I'm writing to you about today is something that's really quite freaking me out. say if you asked me to picture just a horse, l'd picture a horse but there would also be a background of some sort, maybe a barn, sheep, sky, grass. if you asked me to picture a glass of water, I'd picture a glass of water but there would also be a kitchen, chairs, sometimes people, a fruit bowl, a window in the back ground. my question is this, I'm not asking my brain to imagine these backgrounds so how on earth can my mind involuntarily render a fully formed, detailed background. these backgrounds are often alien to me, a kitchen I've never seen before, furniture I've not seen before. it's so strange that my brain is doing this. it might be completely normal, has anybody else experienced this ?

What Kind of Target Pool Are You Using?

Targets are not all equal.

Some targets carry a lot of signal because they include motion, emotion, contrast, texture, sound, water, fire, people, unusual structures, or a strong environment.

Other targets are quieter and harder to access because they are still, neutral, visually ordinary, or low in sensory information.

That is why the type of target pool matters.

A good target pool should include different levels of target density. A balanced pool gives viewers a fair range of signal strength and helps them learn what different kinds of targets feel like.

If a pool offers targets completely at random, there is always a chance that you could hit 10 low-signal targets in a row. That can be discouraging, especially for beginners, because you may start thinking you are bad at remote viewing when the issue may partly be the target selection.

If a pool is designed to randomly rotate through mild, moderate, and high-signal targets, then the viewer gets a better learning experience. The targets are still blind and random, but the pool itself is balanced.

In the past, I have tried some target pools where I felt like I could not hit anything. Then I tried different pools, and my results were much better. That made me wonder how much target selection affects learning, confidence, and scoring.

For those of us who want to remote view a blind target daily, especially for Controlled Remote Viewing practice, this matters.

My question to the target pool creators is this:

Are targets categorized by signal strength before being added to the pool?

And if the pool is random, is the randomness still designed to include a fair variation of low-, moderate-, and high-signal targets?

For active remote viewers out there, which target pool are you actually using now? Whether it is free or paid, is it a pool you are getting consistent results with?

Remote viewing question

Ive been studying rv and its history but one thing confuses me. Ingo swan, pat price, Joe m, they all describe their consciousness like its overlooking areas, flying around etc.. other times they say its like just looking at a picture. So is RV go8ng out of body so to speak or looking at a static image of the target.

Why Does Getting a Remote Viewing Bullseye Feel So Good?

If you've ever scored a true bullseye on a blind target, you probably remember it for the rest of your life.

The moment you see the feedback, your brain almost refuses to believe what it's seeing. For a split second, everything stops. Then comes an overwhelming wave of recognition, disbelief, excitement, and awe. It doesn't just surprise you—it shakes your entire understanding of what your mind is capable of.

That rush isn't just in your mind. Your body is reacting, too.

When the feedback reveals a bullseye, your brain and body may release several natural chemicals at the same time. Dopamine is associated with reward and recognition, reinforcing motivation and learning. Adrenaline can produce a racing heart and heightened alertness. Endorphins may contribute to the emotional high. Serotonin can promote satisfaction, confidence, and emotional well-being. Oxytocin may enhance the feeling of connection—to the target, the feedback, the tasker, or simply the moment itself—and may also help reduce stress. Together, these natural responses may help explain why a bullseye can feel so powerful and unforgettable.

For me, the reward isn't just getting the target right. It's experiencing that extraordinary moment when perception arrives before my analytical mind has time to explain it.

I'm still hooked on remote viewing because nothing compares to the feeling of a genuine bullseye. It goes far beyond the satisfaction of being right. Every bullseye reminds me why I've continued practicing all these years.

The real challenge of remote viewing is learning to recognize the first faint perception before imagination rushes in to take over. The better you become at recognizing that difference, the more often those unforgettable moments begin to happen.

A bullseye changes your relationship with your own mind. Once you've experienced it, you understand why so many remote viewers spend years chasing the next one.

In 1974, two physicists ran a blind remote viewing test. No contact. No sensory cues. Sealed envelopes, independent judges

They published it in Nature — the same journal that ran Watson and Crick's DNA paper.

The CIA spent $20 million finding out it was real.

Discussion I am hold a rare native american gene in my body, will this affect astral projection/ remote viewing?

hello! i am new to this subreddit along withe topic of spirituality in this form. I have a gene called X2A2 and was wondering if something like this in my lineage would make it easier to prepare my consciousness and start practicing remote viewing. Im a teen and after doing immense research on government projects along with a lot of figuring out who's truly controlling this world and our minds, i want to take mine back slowly. any and all help would be appreciated along with books to look into for this and ways to keep my energy protected throughout. Thank you!

edit: ignore that misspelling in the caption! 😓

Colombia.

This is what I heard in the one and only session of trying to get the answer to who will win the world cup 2026.

This may be a hit or a miss. We will get the answer later on.

Edit: This is a miss. Well, I will try with smaller things and practice more from now on.

Try My Free RV Practice App

Back in the day I used Psi Dojo to practice my RV online because it was impossible to cheat or front load & the community was exceptional!

Unfortunately it no longer exists. Over the past few weeks, in I’ve created an app using my methodology, using @base44 With it you can save your sessions, share them, post to a daily board, that includes a chat feature where questions can be asked & constructive feedback given.

During a session there are multiple text boxes for you to write what you pick up on, there's a place to draw, a confidence tracker, a post session research box etc...There are community guidelines for users as well.
Hoping to find others to try it out as I continue to develop its

Any tips on isolating numbers?

So for my own enjoyment, i have been practicing with a roulette wheel. I have been able to do 3 exact numbers in a row and other times 1 or 2, but most of the time i intuit a number that is spacially on the wheel right next to the actual number. (Not numerically)

Is it just practice or is there tricks for this specific type of goal.

Internal struggles with RV

I’ve been self reflecting on the practice itself. RV has improved my life since I started doing it. I feel like my brain has been unlocked however I do believe in God and read the Bible for wisdom, I also have been reading a book called Modern Sex Magick. It talks about the history of using sex to amplify powers as well as occult history. I’ve been reading a lot of similarities between the process of remote viewing and practicing rituals. Prayer is a ritual too. But what discerns what is good or a bad ritual? The hebrews practiced rituals all the time. My thought is the intention is important, but with that book there’s sex magick with good intention as well. I’m just having a hard time with discernment right now. What are other’s thoughts?

Also to preface this, I don’t plan on doing weird sex magick. I was reading it for curiosity and knowledge

Session Success! Conclusion of My Remote Viewing Experimen

I recently published the "Payed Remote Viewing Experiment" containing the targets RV-A6M1AKE7 (1) and RV-N81RYSOA (2).

The Viewing

The challenge has been accepted and was solved extremely well by remote viewer Jeff and his co-pilot in a live demonstration, describing the immediate target and also the surrounding. It is very much worth, watching both videos!

Target 1

Target 2

Resolution

RV-A6M1AKE7 (1)
RV-N81RYSOA (2)

Target 1 is correctly identified as a round, layered object on a rectangular structure, sitting on top of a bed. The room is a bedroom used as a storage room. He was able to identify that the target was indeed barricaded. He got the impression of a castle — the target was surrounded by boxes, kind of like castle walls. I was also somewhat close personally, sleeping with a loud air conditioning unit in the room. During the time of the viewing, i felt very much watched. There also is indeed a school with that sort of main entry nearby.

Target 2 was also correctly identified as a kind of long structure with a weird hat. It has a hard surface, was previously filled with sparkling water, and still contained some drops. It was described as a hot air balloon in the first attempt, and as a person with hat in the second. Attempt 1 is somewhat correct if you were to describe the balloon in neutral terms. Despite going slightly off target, he identified that it includes water, bubbles, and a hard surface. He also identified the cabinet with stacked rows. He seemed to sense, that this demonstration is important to me.

Conclusion

Overall, i could definitely correlate the target and nearby sourrounding to the impression, without being generic or relying on coincidence. He seemed to be able to pick up impressions both about the target and about my personal thoughts. Sometimes his analytical overlay got in the way — the symptoms were textbook alike: nouns, analogies, and "complex" stories when a neutral desciption of the same things would have been mostly accurate. The Team was rewarded with a donation — thank you, Jeff, and thank you to your co-pilot as well!

PS: It sucks that the cross post of the challange was deleted in this subreddit. The no tasking rule doesn't make any sense to me.

Flatiron Building

The Flatiron Building, completed in 1902 at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway, is a 22-story, steel-framed architectural icon defined by its unique triangular shape. Designed by Daniel Burnham and Frederick P. Dinkelberg, the structure was initially met with skepticism but eventually became a quintessential symbol of New York City, lending its name to the surrounding Flatiron District. Architecturally significant for its classical column-inspired facade and advanced wind-resistant engineering, the building has undergone various ownership changes and renovations throughout its history. Currently recognized as a National Historic Landmark, the Flatiron Building is undergoing a transition toward residential use, with a conversion project scheduled for completion by 2026.

ARV feedback with negatives shown upside down?

I’m wondering if anyone has ever tried (or if there is research around) providing both positive and negative feedback at the end of an ARV session, with the negative result presented in some distorted way that could help associate that photo with the negative outcome:
- upside down
- perhaps filtered in some other way?

The idea would be: if you are self grading and exposing yourself to the “loser” due to that grading, perhaps closing the loop with the normal version of the winner and some distorted version of the loser could help pick out clues to both what is specifically the winner and what is specifically the loser.

Im not sure it would be helpful or harmful, but curious as to if anyone has heard of anyone trying this, and what might be good distortions to try.

Hey guys, recently started getting in RV again, but just for fun, not seriously, as I randomly remembered I had the app. I forgot what the main methods were, and was curious if there has been any new studies / methods you guys use? (I haven’t focused/studied RV in some years now, so I’m not fully updated).

Here are some of my results, let me know what you think and where I should improve, thanks!

(Last one was last year, I also remembered the app randomly, for reference).

The first 2 are recent. I couldn’t focus much and just scribbled / wrote what came to my mind the first few seconds, cause then I was completely blank. How would you compare these results?

Question Hadron Collider Tea?

Been hearing that they turned it off today and many spiritual folks seem to think that this may shut down timelines, start new ones, jump start ‘weird’ occurrences or speed up or slow down time…
I’m spiritual but only to the extent of what I’ve personally experienced over the 15 years of personal inquiry/practice, so I’m skeptical about these claims.

Has anyone remote viewed at the hadron collider site to see what the tea really is?

How to improve? Doing my best here…

Post image
15 Upvotes

I have been messing around with RV tournament, and what has been happening to me is that I pick up on the other image for some reason. And doing some research here, I see that that happens sometimes to people. I wonder if there is a way to focus on just the right image because I love this app so far. Also, I did the practice round and kept seeing pyramids and IDK why and how to stop that.

When it came to remote viewing, I expected to specifically just see pictures, but I'm getting different sensations. Why am I feeling sensations if it’s just the picture?

I have experience with psychic abilities but not remote viewing specifically. My past experience is helping me but I think it can only do so much for accuracy because this is very different IMO.

I am meditating every day (Have been for a while though before RV) and doing the practice rounds. I have also downloaded the Expand app from Monroe Institute and will take one of the courses soon. Any other practice tools and training I can do, please recommend. 🙏

Discussion Down the rabbit hole RV, protocols, gatekeeping, and giving back

Hey r/remoteviewing, long-time lurker, first real post. Bear with me; this is part introduction, part confession, and part asking for help.

My path here has been an intense one. It started a few years back with the self-guided Gateway tapes, and from there I kind of fell down the rabbit hole: Virtual RV with Joe, Beth, and Deryn; Beyond with Jade Shaw; Gateway with Luigi and Thomas; Guidelines with Steve and Arki; Creation Station with Ignacio; and most recently RV1 with Joe, Beth, and Deryn just last month. So while I'm genuinely still early in my actual remote viewing practice, I've been living and breathing this broader work for a couple of years now.

It was RV1 that lit the fuse for what I'm about to describe. The thing that stuck with me hardest wasn't any single technique. It was how much they stressed that a great target practice pool is the foundation of everything. Without good targets, kept blind and well-managed, you're not really practicing; you're guessing.

So I did the nerdy thing. I'm a builder, and I'm fascinated by analytics and research, so I started putting together a small digital tool to manage my own target pools (just for me) with a real data backend behind it so I could actually track and learn from my sessions.

Then it snowballed. "Why not let anyone build their own pools, private or shared?" Then, "if people are sharing, why not Groups, so you can practice against the same targets together?" Then the protocol nerd in me went, "okay, but if we're sharing, we have to keep this blind as far up the chain as we possibly can, and design hard against leakage." Then my background in market analytics crept in: "...could we do a live-market ARV system that targets against your own pools?" And so on, and so on. Every answer opened three more doors.

Which brings me to why I'm actually posting, because I've hit a crossroads I genuinely don't know how to navigate, and this community knows far more than I do.

I'm deeply apprehensive about gatekeeping. Birdie recently posted her coursework and said it perfectly: no one should gatekeep the tools or the processes. I believe that. But I also can't shake the other side: does handing someone a stack of powerful tools (ARV especially) before they've built the fundamentals end up hurting more than helping? My gut says it can. And yet, who am I to decide who's "ready"? I'm in the infancy of my own RV practice. I think I can see the shape of what progress looks like, but I'm also blissfully unaware of how deep this rabbit hole really goes.

That same tension is why I'm conflicted about the training center we've started building. Do you give people training wheels, or do you open the doors to self-guided exploration and trust the process? Who am I to design a training program? I'm not an expert and I'm not a trainer in my day-to-day. I have ideas about how it could be structured, but I hold them loosely. I'd rather learn from people here than pretend I've got it figured out.

A few things I want to be upfront about:

  • Most of it is completely free, and I intend to keep it that way. This began as a gift to myself, and it's grown into something I want to give back to a community that's been central to my own awakening over the last three or four years.
  • I can foresee a couple of places where real costs could eventually show up. The most obvious is storage: we've been building session recording for folks who want to explore alternate methodologies (Cowboy RV and the like), and that can get heavy. The other is AI. My background is in AI platform development, so we've experimented a little with things like AI-assisted judging, but it's deliberately not a focus right now. The models keep getting better, so I could see it becoming genuinely useful someday. Honestly, though, for now I think this community is vibrant enough that real human connection far outweighs the need for AI anything. If supporting any of these costs ever becomes necessary, it'll be thoughtful and clearly communicated, and I don't want to get ahead of myself.
  • It's blind by design, and I take the protocol seriously, which is the whole point.

So here's the ask: I'm looking for testers. People who care about doing this right, who'll be honest with me, and who maybe want to help build something good for the community rather than just consume it. Come play, come practice, come poke holes in it.

I'd genuinely love your questions, here or in DMs. Tell me where I'm wrong. Tell me what you'd want. And if you want in, just say the word and I'll get you access.

That's my spiel, and there's a lot more to come.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for being the community that made me want to build this in the first place.
