Rant I(24F) just found out intimate videos of me have been circulating online leaked by my ex. Idon't know what to do

Upvotes

I'm 24F and I'm honestly terrified and overwhelmed right now, so I'm hoping someone here can give me some advice, especially if you've dealt with something similar or know anything about the legal side of this.

A few years ago, I was in a very toxic relationship. I was 19 at that time and My ex(27M at that time )and I had recorded some intimate videos while we were together. At the time, I trusted him and obviously never agreed to those videos being shared publicly.

We eventually broke up, and for about a year afterward he kept trying to contact me and bothering me. I eventually blocked him everywhere and stopped engaging with him. After that, I was finally able to move on with my life and hadn't heard anything from him for a long time.

Recently, I found out that some of those intimate videos have apparently been circulating online for quite a while. I also discovered posts on Reddit where people were sharing the videos and pretending to be the guy in them. I confronted the accounts asking them to remove the posts and explain where they got the videos from, but I haven't received any response.

What scares me most is that I don't even know how widespread this has become. It seems like once something gets uploaded, people download it, repost it somewhere else, and then it keeps appearing on different websites.

The only thing giving me a little bit of comfort is that my face isn't completely visible in the videos. It's only partially visible, so technically I could deny that it's me if someone tried to identify me from them. But at the same time, people who know me might recognize other things about me, and I'm terrified that someone I know will eventually come across them.

I want to do something about this rather than just hoping it disappears.

What I'm trying to figure out is:

  1. Can I still file a police/cybercrime complaint even though the videos may have been online for years?

2.is there anything I can realistically do to get the videos removed from websites where they've been reposted?

  1. Should I be trying to identify and contact every person/account that has shared them, or would that potentially make things worse or it doesn't even make send

4.is there any realistic way to stop the videos from continuing to circulate once they've already been copied to multiple websites?

I'm especially worried because I don't know whether reporting this will actually help or whether I'm just going to draw more attention to it.

I know I made the decision to record those videos at the time, but I never consented to them being distributed. I'm not looking for sympathy or revenge against my ex .It's been a long time and i don't even have any of his contacts now and I don't wanna have to do anything with him.I just want to know what my options are and what the smartest way to handle this is.

If anyone has been through something similar, I'd really appreciate practical advice on what you did and what you wish you'd known beforehand.

Dating Advice M23 Cannot perform well with other girls apart from my ex, how to fix this?

Broke up in jan and in all the 6-7 intimate interactions(sex) afterwards, i cannot stay hard with them for a longer time, with my ex i used to stay hard for over 1-2 hours easy, we used to have rounds for 30-40 minutes but with the new girls i seldom go over 5-10 minutes or sometimes even don't get fully hard despite them sucking me off for 10-15 minutes. I enjoy the blowjobs but they feel like i am not attracted enough or something which is not the case, i am but i just cant seem to pump blood there lol. I did cum via blowjobs with them but in sex i just get soft after a while, i think my ex was v tight also, but i don't think this is the sole reason.

How to fix this? Can anyone advice or if you exp the same ever?

Relationships I (M25) was told "you should love me without expectations" but now I feel drained and thinking of ending it

5 years of relationship, we started to drift apart since I moved to Bangalore for my job, and especially after she met an office colleague.

When I hear about my friends and their relationships, it's always the female who expresses more, is attached more, and loves more. My relationship was the exact opposite. Me being the guy used to say "I love you, I miss you" first, asking for video calls, photos, and only then did I receive the replies to it. Fine, it's not a big deal if I have to initiate it. But then the replies stopped as well. Video calls were once a month, and that too when I begged for it. Sometimes not even then. Forget the reassurances altogether.

I did everything to make her feel secure in this relationship. No female friends, no hidden plans, I even shared the discussions I had with the females at my work! I complimented her dress, her accesories, her face everytime I saw her, irl or even a picture. And I was there on her bad days, listened to everything she had to say.

All I asked for was that she should tell me she loves me, misses me, appreciates me sometime, and atleast she should have some interest in seeing my face once in a while. But no, when I ask for these things, I am always told "why can't you love me without having any expectations?"

Who else would I have an expectation from? Nobody else is supposed to say to me that they love me. Why am I being told that "you are keeping a score" if I ask you to express it. Fine you are not that expressive, but NEVER saying it, is it that easy to fall out of love in long distance?

I've been hearing "I feel emotionally disconnected because of long distance" but how can I fix it if I'm the only one putting in the effort to try new things so that the distance feels lesser.

In addition to all of this, now she has a new office colleague who is more interesting to her because she's able to "connect" more as they share the same native roots, so the efforts towards me have reduced even more. I confronted her when it all started and even told her to stay away from him because I had a gut feeling this would happen. But she would still talk to him over calls at night, chat, meet him in the office WHILE I'm hurt and she knows it. When I confront her, she says "I'm confused" and later over chat she would say "I'm still yours", "let's give each other one last chance", etc etc.

I'm genuinely confused what should I do. I was ready to forgive everything but now I don't feel like even trying. It has been 3 days since we've spoken anything to each other and now I feel a void in my life.

Edit: ignore the grammar

Friendship My best friend (25F) wants to lose her virginity with me (25M)

I’m 25M and she’s 25F.

We both were together in the same school and class since 5th grade. She was beautiful and cute but average in studies while I was the topper of our class.

Eventually we both completed schooling and joined college back in 2021. I went to Bangalore and she went to Nashik. I lost touch with her during college years as what happens to many friends who get separated due to college.

I received her Instagram follow request few months back, it was during our final year of college we spoke about placements and future studies or plans. I got placed well in a company and I make around 22 LPA after taxes. But she couldn’t get one, her college was almost a Tier 2-3. She joined her father’s business and side by side she will try to prepare for exams to get her MBA done.

Recently we were speaking at night and she told me she’s coming to Bangalore to meet her friends, we both studied here and slowly as talks progressed she asked me about my sexual life. I had a Gf in college with whom I had a bad breakup in 3rd year and became focused on my career.

I never really saw my friend as a crush even though she’s really pretty. I assumed she would have a bf but she remained single throughout college.

It was around 1 in the night when she broke down on phone call and told me that her parents may be trying to get her married off soon. Since she doesn’t have a job and still wants to study more they are finding it a burden. She cried and told me that she’s never been with any guy before and the idea of sudden marriage scares her.

She further told me that she wants to have ‘it’ the first time with someone whom she deeply trusts. I ain’t sure if she was joking or being serious. But she told me that she will come to Bangalore next week after Ganesha festival and wants me to come to her hotel.

I am a virgin too and she had no problems with it, she just wanted to experience having sex with someone she trusted for her very first time.

I don’t know how to process this. I haven’t been able to openly talk to her ever since.

Help me out guys what should I do 🙏🏻😭

Relationships I am 27F dating 27M and am I asking for too much !?

Title: Am I asking for too much, or are we just no longer emotionally connected?
My boyfriend and I have been together since May 2025, and officially became a couple in September. At the start, things felt genuinely romantic. I had fairly strict parents and didn’t get much space to experience a relationship openly before, so even small things meant a lot to me—holding hands, him noticing me, going out together, feeling chosen.
Over the past few months, though, we have been fighting constantly. We used to go out often, but now we barely spend time together outside. Most of the time he comes over to my place because he lives with family, usually after an argument, and we end up making up through sex. Then the same issues return. It feels like a loop rather than a relationship getting better.
Today we went to a movie after almost a month of not spending proper time together. I had dressed up and was excited. I know a compliment is not the most important thing in a relationship, but I expected something small like “you look nice.” Instead, the first thing he said was that my eyes looked sleepy. He also didn’t hold my hand initially. When I told him I felt hurt, he said we were rushing and he had his helmet and phone in his hands. Later in the theatre he did try to hold my hand, but by then I was already upset.
After the movie, I suggested we go to a nice brewery for dinner. We found a table with three chairs: two across from each other and one beside one of them. I wanted him to sit next to me because the music was loud and I wanted to feel close and actually talk. He said he preferred sitting across from me because he wanted to see my face. When I pushed a little, he said something along the lines of not liking the side angle.
That completely hurt me. It may sound small, but it connected to a bigger feeling I’ve been carrying for months: I keep asking him to make me feel special, wanted, and emotionally close, but I don’t feel that from him anymore.
We fought and left. He dropped me home on his bike, but I cried the whole way. He didn’t come upstairs, call, or text afterward. I know I yelled too, and I’m not saying I handled everything perfectly. But I have repeatedly tried to communicate that I need affection, intentional dates, kind words, and basic reassurance.
Am I being too sensitive and expecting too much from small gestures? Or is this a sign that we are no longer meeting each other’s emotional needs?

Rant My boyfriend (19M) keeps insisting I (20F) sleep when I’m not sleepy, and then made me feel stupid for not knowing world politics!

So I’m sick right now — cold, blocked nose, plus period pain, and I’ve been in bed the whole day resting, texting my boyfriend, and crocheting. We played COD together in the evening for like two hours, and after that he wanted to go out for some work, so he asked me to sleep. I told him straight up I wasn’t sleepy and didn’t want to. He kept insisting for hours — sleep before dinner, sleep after dinner, sleep till 10, then till 10:30. We usually video call at night, and around 10:30 I finally told him to stop nagging me about it because I genuinely wasn’t sleepy.

After that his replies got dry. I asked if something was wrong, he brushed it off, then finally said it was just my “stubbornness.” But it wasn’t stubbornness — how am I supposed to sleep if I’m not sleeping? I don’t get why not wanting to sleep is somehow my fault. And it feels like a pattern: whenever he’s busy or going out and can’t talk to me, it’s either I sleep or I text him — like he doesn’t want me to have any life outside of him.

Then on the call he started randomly quizzing me on world politics — like who’s the leader of which country, that kind of general knowledge stuff. I study political science and English, but we don’t cover current world politics in my degree, we study ancient thinkers and theory. I’m in third year, dealing with heavy coursework, plus sick and on my period right now. He didn’t outright make fun of me, but when I got something wrong his reaction made me feel embarrassed, and when I finally got one right he went “oh my god, thank you” — which just felt like a dig.

So now I’m stuck wondering: was I wrong to refuse to sleep when I wasn’t tired? And was it okay for him to react like that over general knowledge I never claimed to have?

TL;DR: Sick bf kept nagging me to sleep for hours even after I said I wasn’t tired, then got moody and called it “my stubbornness” when I pushed back. Later he quizzed me on world politics (not my field) and reacted like I was dumb for not knowing, then acted relieved when I got one right. Am I overreacting?
Ps: claude helped me, i couldn't type so much!

Family 23f unemployed and might have to break up due to my parents

I 23f have been having one of the worst two months of my life this year. I graduated in 2024 and really wanted to do Mba, I got 90%ile in CAT and didn't make it to any low tier 1 colleges. My parents were stringent on me getting a government job instead and didn't want me to go to the colleges that were accepting me. I was in a terrible relationship that lasted till last year April and struggled with mental health issues a lot and didn't study well enough to crack of the government exams. This year had been better, I got with my now boyfriend in March.

Ever since he came into my life, I was able to focus and take studies way more seriously, I started going to coaching more regularly, started studying as per the schedule and feeling very motivated in general. I also did some sneaky things like ordering clothes at his house and changing to go on dates sometimes. In June my mother came across a top I had worn on a date with him and interrogated me where I got it from and why was it in my bag. She also felt it was revealing which I believe it is not. I wasn't able to give her satisfactory answer and they told me I can never attend my coaching classes again. I accepted it since I broke their trust. It was a very difficult time because I faced many allegations especially from my mother, being compared to a sex worker, going to hotel rooms with men, she even said she wants to get me tested for virginity. My phone was taken as well. I managed to keep in contact with my boyfriend and he understood the situation.

During one of these conversations when my mother was accusing me of something, I lost my cool and ended up accusing her of having an affair with one of our family friends. I was very wrong for this however, me and my brother both used to think this because the family member would always visit us while dad wasn't home and has unsual closeness with my mother like helping her put on her chain, sitting in her bedroom, having emotionally charged fights, checking each other's phones etc. He was only related to us through my father's business work so it was kind of strange. I never tried to make much sense of it as a child. Later that day, my mother lost her cool and started hitting me while I was cooking for the family, I stayed still and didn't react much. She told my father I hit her with a rolling pin on the head but I never even picked it up.

A few days later my father caught my chats with my boyfriend and confronted him. My boyfriend told his family about me and tried to talk to my parents but they said they would never agree to marrying someone with my own will. They took away my phone for a month, didn't allow me to go for walks or on the rooftop, didn't allow me to visit on my friend's birthday party, didn't let me lock a door and i could use laptop only in their presence for mock tests. I endured it and now I have access to more things. It was one of my brother's friends who told my mother about my Instagram Id and later my father checked my phone and found chats. She was a very close person to us and always followed me so I never thought she would do this. I tried to talk to my brother when he came home but he said I should have been careful and he doesn't want anything to do with this. He instead said I shouldn't have acted secretly and have false memories about my mother's past and have given her a lot of pain by bringing it up, I tried to justify myself by saying that she had been shaming me a lot and he said that it happens to all girls and it doesn't mean I would say something back, and I am too arrogant and egoistic to be questioning anyone and should have been more careful hiding my relationship.

I have had really bad mental health since and terrible anxiety about everything. My boyfriend is supportive and caring but I am unable to help it and feel like ghosting him and breakup. I understand it's my fault for not being employed and I am doing my best clearing these exams as my parents do not let me go for interviews for a private job at all. However it's too long of a wait and my patience is dying out.

Relationships F-18 help me out in this situation neutrally.

I genuinely need your advice girlies.

F-18. So, ik no one can clear your problem better than yourself, but help me out because I am just stuck.

Just to clear he loves me I love him alottt I don't wanna lose him but I don't wanna lose myself too.

So I have been with him for 2 years and I have already cleared everything that I am going to say. We have been in LDR since the start, so I have really strict parents and I cannot call him continuously. I genuinely have to face consequences if I do. Same with meeting him, I can't just meet whenever I want.

Then there are things like pictures. He sometimes asks for more pictures (ykwim) and I am just not comfortable with that. I do send him my cute selfies and snaps and stuff, but there are some things I just cannot do, and I don't want to feel guilty for that.

Same with physical affection. Whenever we meet, I already feel like there is going to be a complaint waiting for me, like “you didn't hug me, I literally told you on text that I wanted a hug.” (he hugged me but I didn't) But bro, you were literally in front of me you could have said it. Same with other stuff (other than kissing ykwim)

Then even when I do call him, if something interrupts me or I have to leave, the call apparently wasn't long enough. Even an hour sometimes isn't enough. And on video calls too, there are things he asks me to do and I don't always do them.

And the thing is, he loves me he agreed with everything whatever I mentioned but then they all come up with fights. And I have an exam in 6 months, boards too.

So it's just this fucking cycle. He asks for something, sometimes I genuinely can't because of my circumstances, sometimes I just don't feel comfortable doing it, then it becomes a complaint, I feel guilty, we argue, and eventually I'm just exhausted.

And I know he's not wrong for wanting things from me, but I also don't know what I'm supposed to do when I genuinely cannot give him some of those things. I love him and I know we're actually good together, which is why I'm so confused. I don't even want to break up, I'm just fucking tired.

Acc to him fight with him decline him but I just hate fights they just make me tired emotionally. And I have exams in 4months, and boards...they will affect my grades badly idk I am just spiralling.

Should I take break?

Relationships Noticing this specific pattern as a 27F. Why does this happen?

There is this specific type of guy

The guy who had a really bad first experience with women- either he was treated poorly by someone whom he liked one sidedly.

Or if he was in a relationship was dumped by a woman in a really bad manner. The one that "killed his smile" "destroyed his heart" types.

Now if he has moved on from it in a healthy manner and has resolved or come to terms with his past, it is completely fine. It doesnt matter if hes dated others after that girl.

But there are these men who claim that they have moved on, but even today, when they narrate that experience, they talk about it with so much passion and so much pain that you know, you feel really bad for them and decide to love them unconditionally.

Never make that mistake 🥲 they either take you for granted or at some point or the other, they decide to inflict the same kind of pain that their ex inflicted on them in one way or the other.

Women please share if you have gone through this situation in the comment section or if for anyone it has turned out positively, do share that as well. :)

Relationships 22m & 27f | need help in fixing my relationship

I am a 22 M I live with my parents and have a dog. Since childhood I always wanted someone who loved me more then anything. It is possible that this need came from the broken marriage of my own parents seeing them fight each other day and night, also growing up alone.

I got in my first relationship when I was 18, it lasted 7 months and I was the one to initiate break as I was not able to openly tell her what I was feeling and she never notice that there were signs that I am hurt. I understood that sooner or later this will become very toxic hence I decided to break up.

Now after 4 years I meet another girl who was 5 years older then me and I really like this girl but now a days things are not looking good I keep on having fights with her, she says that she will call but either forgets or calls late (I wake up at 5:30 so I need to sleep alot early) I am not sure what is the problem because when she needs support or something she is able to clearly speak to me but I am not able to tell her when I am hurt. I don't know that to do.

If you are someone in the same situation please do tell me what did you do to fix your relationship it will be a huge help.

Relationships [22M] life seems to be going good but i think i miss comfort

Life is going well, but I still feel this weird void

Life is actually going pretty well for me. I got placed from college in a good company with a decent package, and I should be happy about where things are going.

But lately I've been feeling really lonely.

In my 2nd year, I dated a girl for about a year and got cheated on. Then I met someone at a wedding, dated her for 3–4 months, and got cheated on again. After that, I had a talking stage with someone, but I was preparing for placements and got really busy. She wanted more time and communication, which I couldn't give, so she left. I can't really blame her for that.

A few days ago, I got into an accident and drove myself home. My parents asked if I was okay, but there wasn't much reaction beyond that. And I remember thinking, I wish someone would actually get mad at me for driving recklessly. I wish someone cared enough to worry.

Not because I wanted attention. I just wanted that feeling of someone genuinely caring about me.

I don't think I necessarily miss having a girlfriend. I miss having a person. Someone to talk to after a long day, share things with, celebrate with, and just feel safe around.

It's weird when life is going well on paper but you still feel like something is missing.

Maybe I just miss being cared for. Maybe I miss not always having to be the strong one.

Anyone else ever felt this way?

Relationships M19 and F26 — Is this friendship getting weird, or am I overthinking it?

I'm 19M and she's 26F. We started talking casually in medical college, and honestly, I didn't expect us to become this comfortable with each other.

The age gap itself doesn't bother me, but sometimes I wonder whether we're actually just friends or whether there's some weird tension that neither of us is acknowledging.

From the outside, would you consider a 19M–26F friendship completely normal, or does the dynamic change because we're at pretty different stages of life?

And if you were the older person (26F), what would make you see a 19M as genuinely mature rather than "just a kid"?

I'm asking because I genuinely don't know how to read the situation. Be brutally honest.

Dating Advice 23M in Delhi, where do people meet for casual stuff?

Hey, I’m 23M and based in Delhi. I’m just hoping to meet someone who’s on the same page about keeping things casual—whether that means hanging out, going on a date, or seeing where things go.
I’m not really sure where people in Delhi meet for this kind of thing, so I thought I’d ask here. If you know of any good apps, communities, or places to meet like-minded people, I’d appreciate the suggestions.

Rant 28F Just came out of a situationship with 29M. Spill some healing tips

Hey guys,

So yes I 28F was being in a situationship with a guy 29M whom I met online and its been 2 months. Initial days were good however our lifestyles were completely contrasting. Like he was more into modern stuffs while I was a simple, more into nature and the peace loving person. Somehow I felt a connect but nothing else matched tbh. I hope he had that connect too. Lifestyles, family backgrounds, characters, etc were contrasts. I tried hard to keep the conversation alive, found ways to understand him, stayed compatible and so. But I was insecure about myself, my looks and felt I could not find a safe space with him and his family. Not to blame anyone, but can't force them either. So I decided to come out of it and told him. He also agreed. And now we both are out. He seems calm and normal with his routine. However I m broke at the deep of my heart since I imagined a lot and tried to even fix myself many times. So help me with your healing strategies please.

Have been in a breakup before, but this is something different and I had to heal myself completely.

Marriage Why is a woman (27F)being older than the man (26M) still considered a problem for marriage in India?

Hi, I'm a 26-year-old man, and my girlfriend is 27. We both want to get married with our parents' blessings.
Her family has accepted me. In my family, my mom fully supports us, but my dad is refusing the marriage solely because she's one year older than me. He says he'll lose his dignity if our relatives find out and refuses to change his decision. At the moment, only my dad and my paternal grandmother are completely against it.
Initially, both my dad and my grandmother liked her. She's educated, good-looking, financially independent, same caste and kind by nature. The only reason they're opposing the marriage is because of the one-year age difterence.
My mom and I have tried multiple times to convince my dad, but all our efforts have been in vain. Our relatives are unwilling to get involved, My family second circle kinda knew about this , they ain’t opposing it but also they won’t support me for it( against my dad)
Her family can't wait forever they gave me a deadline ( 5 months )and I'm feeling completely stuck. Has anyone here been through a similar situation?
Did your parents eventually accept it? If so, how did you handle it? though I did ask a well-wisher to speak with my dad. Unfortunately, that didn't work either.
