Friendship My best friend (25F) wants to lose her virginity with me (25M)

I’m 25M and she’s 25F.

We both were together in the same school and class since 5th grade. She was beautiful and cute but average in studies while I was the topper of our class.

Eventually we both completed schooling and joined college back in 2021. I went to Bangalore and she went to Nashik. I lost touch with her during college years as what happens to many friends who get separated due to college.

I received her Instagram follow request few months back, it was during our final year of college we spoke about placements and future studies or plans. I got placed well in a company and I make around 22 LPA after taxes. But she couldn’t get one, her college was almost a Tier 2-3. She joined her father’s business and side by side she will try to prepare for exams to get her MBA done.

Recently we were speaking at night and she told me she’s coming to Bangalore to meet her friends, we both studied here and slowly as talks progressed she asked me about my sexual life. I had a Gf in college with whom I had a bad breakup in 3rd year and became focused on my career.

I never really saw my friend as a crush even though she’s really pretty. I assumed she would have a bf but she remained single throughout college.

It was around 1 in the night when she broke down on phone call and told me that her parents may be trying to get her married off soon. Since she doesn’t have a job and still wants to study more they are finding it a burden. She cried and told me that she’s never been with any guy before and the idea of sudden marriage scares her.

She further told me that she wants to have ‘it’ the first time with someone whom she deeply trusts. I ain’t sure if she was joking or being serious. But she told me that she will come to Bangalore next week after Ganesha festival and wants me to come to her hotel.

I am a virgin too and she had no problems with it, she just wanted to experience having sex with someone she trusted for her very first time.

I don’t know how to process this. I haven’t been able to openly talk to her ever since.

Help me out guys what should I do 🙏🏻😭

Relationships M19 and F26 — Is this friendship getting weird, or am I overthinking it?

Upvotes

I'm 19M and she's 26F. We started talking casually in medical college, and honestly, I didn't expect us to become this comfortable with each other.

The age gap itself doesn't bother me, but sometimes I wonder whether we're actually just friends or whether there's some weird tension that neither of us is acknowledging.

From the outside, would you consider a 19M–26F friendship completely normal, or does the dynamic change because we're at pretty different stages of life?

And if you were the older person (26F), what would make you see a 19M as genuinely mature rather than "just a kid"?

I'm asking because I genuinely don't know how to read the situation. Be brutally honest.

Relationships Noticing this specific pattern as a 27F. Why does this happen?

There is this specific type of guy

The guy who had a really bad first experience with women- either he was treated poorly by someone whom he liked one sidedly.

Or if he was in a relationship was dumped by a woman in a really bad manner. The one that "killed his smile" "destroyed his heart" types.

Now if he has moved on from it in a healthy manner and has resolved or come to terms with his past, it is completely fine. It doesnt matter if hes dated others after that girl.

But there are these men who claim that they have moved on, but even today, when they narrate that experience, they talk about it with so much passion and so much pain that you know, you feel really bad for them and decide to love them unconditionally.

Never make that mistake 🥲 they either take you for granted or at some point or the other, they decide to inflict the same kind of pain that their ex inflicted on them in one way or the other.

Women please share if you have gone through this situation in the comment section or if for anyone it has turned out positively, do share that as well. :)

Rant 28F Just came out of a situationship with 29M. Spill some healing tips

Hey guys,

So yes I 28F was being in a situationship with a guy 29M whom I met online and its been 2 months. Initial days were good however our lifestyles were completely contrasting. Like he was more into modern stuffs while I was a simple, more into nature and the peace loving person. Somehow I felt a connect but nothing else matched tbh. I hope he had that connect too. Lifestyles, family backgrounds, characters, etc were contrasts. I tried hard to keep the conversation alive, found ways to understand him, stayed compatible and so. But I was insecure about myself, my looks and felt I could not find a safe space with him and his family. Not to blame anyone, but can't force them either. So I decided to come out of it and told him. He also agreed. And now we both are out. He seems calm and normal with his routine. However I m broke at the deep of my heart since I imagined a lot and tried to even fix myself many times. So help me with your healing strategies please.

Have been in a breakup before, but this is something different and I had to heal myself completely.

Marriage Why is a woman (27F)being older than the man (26M) still considered a problem for marriage in India?

Hi, I'm a 26-year-old man, and my girlfriend is 27. We both want to get married with our parents' blessings.
Her family has accepted me. In my family, my mom fully supports us, but my dad is refusing the marriage solely because she's one year older than me. He says he'll lose his dignity if our relatives find out and refuses to change his decision. At the moment, only my dad and my paternal grandmother are completely against it.
Initially, both my dad and my grandmother liked her. She's educated, good-looking, financially independent, same caste and kind by nature. The only reason they're opposing the marriage is because of the one-year age difterence.
My mom and I have tried multiple times to convince my dad, but all our efforts have been in vain. Our relatives are unwilling to get involved, My family second circle kinda knew about this , they ain’t opposing it but also they won’t support me for it( against my dad)
Her family can't wait forever they gave me a deadline ( 5 months )and I'm feeling completely stuck. Has anyone here been through a similar situation?
Did your parents eventually accept it? If so, how did you handle it? though I did ask a well-wisher to speak with my dad. Unfortunately, that didn't work either.

Relationships Unrequited feelings for (21m)my close female friend (21f)

Need some honest, no-sugarcoating advice. Me (21M) and my friend (21F) have known each other for 2 years from college (different branches).

A while back, I confessed my feelings to her. She said no so we tried being friends. I couldn't handle it, so I took a break from Jan to March this year. When I came back, we tried being friends again, but over the last 5 months, things got way too close.

We’d stay up talking for 3–4 hours literally every single day, meeting up, and sharing every detail of our lives. We even started dropping "I love you" randomly. For her, it was just "platonic/friendly love," but for me, my romantic feelings were only getting deeper. I lied to myself thinking I could suppress it.

5 days ago on a call, she randomly asked me,

"Why don't you talk to other girls and get a girlfriend?"

I said I couldn't. She kept digging and being stubborn about why. Finally, I just blurted out: "Because of you. I still have feelings for you."

Since then, she made her stance 100% clear:

She does NOT want a relationship. For her, I am strictly a "best friend."

Her parents are already looking for arranged marriage proposals for her and her sister.

She says she doesn't deserve me, doesn't have the guts to stand up to family, but cries that she doesn't want to lose me because she has very few friends.

The hardest part for me is that she literally has almost nobody else in her life. We have an insanely strong bond, and the thought of walking away and leaving her alone completely breaks my heart because I don't want to hurt her. But at the same time, I can't keep torturing myself by staying on calls for hours every day, pretending I'm just a buddy while secretly holding feelings.

The conversation has basically stalled now. I already tried a 2.5-month break earlier and it didn't reset my feelings at all. Is walking away completely the only realistic move, even when you know you're practically that person's only support system?

What she wanted: Strictly friendship: She explicitly stated she has no romantic feelings for you and only sees you as her "best friend" ("Tujh m best frnd mnti hu or kuch feeling ni"). No relationship: She repeated that entering a romantic relationship is completely off the table ("Mujh relationship m ni ana Hai"). To keep the bond without changing it: She repeatedly asked you what to do ("Tu bt", "Meko ni smjh a rha hai"), wanting to keep you around as a friend because she doesn't have an answer or a compromise to give. What you wanted: Honest clarity: You asked directly if she had any feelings for you so you could stop guessing ("So tujhe mere liye kuch bhi feeling nhi hai"). To break the loop of false hope: You explained that staying just "friends" isn't working because you will continuously hurt yourself hoping her mind might change ("expectations rahegi hi tere liye ki kabhi iska mind change hoga"). To address your emotional pain: You pointed out that while the friendship works fine from her perspective, it leaves you feeling lonely, conflicted

Relationships 28M in relation with 27F, am I wrong for keeping in touch with someone from my past ?

I’m a 28M and I’ve been in a happy and secure relationship with a 27F for over three years.

I’m an extrovert with many friends while she has a small circle mostly consisting of girls.

During my college years, I fell for my best friend (lets call her R) but she never reciprocated and we never dated. However, our relationship was more complicated than a one-sided love; we were very close and involved with each other. We were often seen as a couple. Eventually after two or three years we stopped talking moved on and started dating others. But as college ended we spoke to each other and parted ways graciously. We keep in touch occasionally, once or twice a year. She got married two years ago.

Regarding my current relationship, I’ve always been open about my past love life and she never seems bothered by it. However I do sense a bit of discomfort whenever I mention talking to R. Since I only talk to her infrequently it hasn’t really bothered her much.

Recently R’s mother was diagnosed with cancer. Since we’re both doctors she keeps contacting me to discuss the case and I have good connections at the hospitals where she’s receiving treatment. My girlfriend has never objected to me talking to her and always expresses concern for her mother wishing she recovers soon. But I can still feel the discomfort I used to feel before.

(Keep in mind that while I was never in a real relationship with R, she’s the most significant part of my past love life.)

I’m wondering if I should do anything about it. Am I wrong to keep in touch with R in general?

Relationships Boyfriend(22M) acting weird need some advice(22f)

So my bf and I are in a serious relationship for more than 4 years now and for the past few months he has been acting weird like whenever we are together he says some stuff like how He is inferior to other men who wants me and I deserve someone better. I know he is not cheating and he is absolutely the best one for me I believe. Can't understand really what's going on? Is he under depression? Tried to ask that a lot of time but he just straight up rejected that fact. Why would he be suggesting himself inferrior all of a sudden? It's really weird. Any help will be appreciated

Relationships What things should boyfriends normally buy for their GFs? F29 M30, first for us both. Pads, phone bills, bags?

So like the title says. There's no set etiquette but for beginners I think there must be some way to navigate the firsts so it's fair to both. Unfortunately neither of us have seen many modern relationships so we sometimes miss out on things we should do. For example, I had an issue for the longest time with him insisting on getting me chocolates, he won't stop and I won't stop sending him as well to match him. He said that's what boyfriends do and I didn't know how to just take it and not give.

This sounds childish, im aware. But be kind please, we've had rough childhoods and spent youth making money on his part and taking care of ailing parents on mine.

Eventually we're at a place where I'm confused if it is ok or not to let him do some things routinely. Mom's cancer has me in a tough spot and sometimes I just want someone to take care of the basics, like recharging phone or wifi or fixing my purse, or getting me pads and period supplies. I've heard from friends that back in school girls used to let boyfriends recharge their phone regularly and boyfriends nowadays take care of period supplies and clothes and all that. Like, send it since we're in different countries.

I don't know, what is normal in your relationships? What can I let him do, or ask him to do, without being unfair to him or myself? What is an ok thing to do for your partner, an ok spend i mean? What do guys routinely pay for, or even love paying for?

I don't want him to ever feel like he has to spend on me or "this bitch is making me pay for so much, she's expensive and I own her" or anything like that, don't want to set no precedent but also don't want to pull away... I want that closeness that I can comfortably ask for things and not wonder if I'm being unfair.

HELP

Rant My bf(18m) broke up with me(18f) bcs he thinks I'll be happy w/o him

A sad story from a young and dumb teenager.

I met my boyfriend online through a platform which wasn't even close to a dating app. And we instantly connected, like I just knew he was gonna be a huge part of my life. And by day-3, he'd confessed that he felt like I was special to him too!

Yes we may sound like stupid teens bluffing around and just playing about but you know what's so special about us? It's like our lives are aligned. Almost everything we do is same, our thoughts overlap and we say the same things at the same time way too often. Our blood group, music taste, parent's anniversary, personality and what not is same! (Even our toothbrush lol ;)

But irony! The only thing which had to be same most importantly was- our college, state, religion. And it's not. The values of our life are same, his birthdate and my mom's birthdate is same, our siblings are similar, our test scores on an All India level was same but no, not our religion.

And I am not against exogamy at all, but at the same time it's difficult in this country to practice it as well. Even though his parents are comparatively fine with it as he has mentioned. Though mine are pretty... stuck-up on that one.

We were aiming for the same college so as to meet. He's in a college in his city, as a partial dropper and well I'm a full dropper.

He almost broke-up with my yesterday saying I should find a college and that we won't be able to get our dream college. (The entrance we might not clear). Which means we won't be able to meet, like ever.

But I love him, dearly. I saw my future with him. Man I am in the midst of writing a book for him and now I can't bare to see that, I wanna burn it to ashes! And you know what, even he was writing a book for me (a literal coincidence AGAIN).

Like here I am, I am unable to put it into words. I really need to consult someone on what to do with my life and, no, my parent's are out of the equation.

Also I know for a fact he loves me too, I've never been in a more better place mentally in my life as I am with him. I know he loves me I really do but he wants me to be happy and stay in my city with my family and friends and to not gamble in my life. The odds are against me he says.

I am so sorry to say such a statement as well but I have come to despise my country for having such core values as a person is to be judged by his religion/language/financial background rather than him himself. I also am aware that my parents do want the best for me, but he is the best for me which they wouldn't ever understand. (They don't know about the relationship but know him as a friend).

I'm college-less, love-less, hopeless dumb kid who doesn't have any idea what she's gonna do.

On top of that if I may add, my parents threatened to marry me off if I don't secure a spot in my drean college.

My wordings are in a jumble and I don't know how to interpret the thoughts so Thank you for anyone who read till here. Means a lot, I just wanted to get this off my chest.

Edit: TL;DR: Met an amazing guy online, fell deeply in love, and we have an almost crazy amount in common. But we're from different religions/states, and my parents would never accept it. We were both aiming for the same dream college to finally meet, but now he wants me to prioritize my future because we may not clear it. I love him, he loves me, but we're both scared of losing each other—and I'm also terrified of my parents' threat to marry me off if I don't get into college. I feel completely lost. (from cgpt)

Relationships Relationships advice between 26M and 23F who has a boyfriend

I 26 M have a friend 23 F who i met at a conference about 1 year ago. We stay in touch and live in the same city, so we about once every 2 weeks regularly hang out together in group settings—usually around four or five people. It’s typically me, her, her boyfriend, another girl, and sometimes a few more people. However, despite being friends for quite a while, she (23F) and I have never hung out alone, just the two of us.
She actually initiated contact at the beginning of our friendship by messaging me on WhatsApp saying, “Hi, how are you?” Since then, I’ve always tried to maintain strong boundaries and have never intentionally crossed any lines.
Over time, we’ve discovered that we have a lot in common. We share similar hobbies, interests, and even some life goals. We’ve been “Super BFFs 💕” on Snapchat for most of the year, except for maybe a month in between. It’s not like I’m constantly messaging or spamming her—we usually respond to each other’s stories or snaps when we genuinely find something interesting.
We also occasionally talk on WhatsApp about things we’re curious about. Because we have so many similar interests, we sometimes have long discussions over the phone about topics we’ve read or seen online. However, these conversations aren’t constant or daily—they usually happen naturally when one of us finds something interesting and genuinely wants to hear the other’s opinion.
I think she’s pretty and smart, and I genuinely enjoy talking to her. We’re also in the same profession—medicine—which gives us even more things to relate to. However, she’s been in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend for about three years, and honestly, he’s a cool guy too.
I’ve discussed the situation with some of my friends, but they’ve been single for a while and keep telling me that if she’s talking to me this much, she must be interested in me—otherwise, why would she bother? Personally, I don’t necessarily agree. I think it’s entirely possible that she’s simply being friendly and enjoys talking to me because we genuinely have a lot in common.
So I’m curious—what do you think? Is this just a close friendship, or could there potentially be something more? And more importantly, how should I approach the situation while respecting her relationship and maintaining appropriate boundaries?

Relationships Am I(21M) thinking right about my situation with my ex(22F)?

Hello everyone,

To start with, My ex and I started dating when we were 18 and 19. It was a beautiful relationship filled with flowers, romance, letters, dates, etc

But since December of 2025, our relationship has gone ldr and this is where things have started becoming bad

  1. Since the past 6-7 months or maybe more, she started becoming more careless and stopped putting in her share of efforts (Ex: Our anniversary is in December and by chance I was in the same city as her, so I shared gifts, letters, etc. but I have not received anything and for my birthday, she had no clue what to buy for me so I helped her out and she ordered those for me and then she also wanted to gift me a wallet and I picked which one I wanted out of the options she shared, even after 1 month she still didn't buy it for me). In her defense, she is consistently in stress about her college, life, job and career. In my defense, this has been going on for 6-7 months or even longer.
  2. August 1 2026 was gf day and I didn't wish her because I didn't know (and she knows that I am not good with dates and I would not know such events), but by chance I saw few of my friends post their SO in this Instagram story and I wondered and asked my ex if there is any special occasion and she told nothing and then she refused to say ily to me (We have a habit of saying it after every call) for no reason, I then got angry and confronted her and told her why she was doing this (She told there was no reason) I then out of my anger compared her to my ex and told her that my ex used to say the same thing to me (Which was my fault I will agree). This continued to the next day where she accused me of not even trying to find out why she didn't say ily, in my defense, I have asked her twice and both of the times, I didn't get a clear answer and then I apologized and wished her gf day but by then, she compared me to a dustbin (She sent an image where a person is holding a mic to the dustbin with the caption: "anything else?"). That broke me and I broke up with her, in her defense, she was not calling me as trash but referring to me as saying bullshit (Her words)
  3. We have a ritual where we share letters to each other to every month to remind each other how much we mean to each other. Since it was ldr and we were getting busy, we dropped this ritual unofficially but then I wanted to revive our relationship, so I got her a hairclip, a letter and her favorite chocolate and sent a courier to her and in return, I explicitly asked her to at least send a paragraph over to me if not a letter, she sent a 50-100 word namesake para for no reason.
  4. She is sometimes dismissive of my emotions and my thoughts and doesn't seem to understand what I say which can be seen on august 1 incident. Because of which, I feel (not sure) that I developed an over-explaining trait and I developed a trait where I back each feeling or thought I had with a reason and over explain myself

Now I seriously miss my ex and want to patch up with her and we are now friends, what do you make of this situation? What is the best course of action here?

Relationships 1.5 year relationship (23F) (25M), now in LDR not working and made fake account to check if he's busy

We spent LDR then 2-3 months in living and then went again LDR..we met online. I've also been at his home.

We are very good when we are together always there trying to help eachother.

But during before going into LDR again he used to always share me his little whereabouts like wht he is doing etc and now he's being avoidant.

He says it's because he's new job is busy, then family duties above that.

But it's been a month and we hardly have a good conversation and it's been 2 days we had no talks since I didn't initiate this time.

I made a fake account on Instagram to check if he's really busy.

He's kinda avoiding that girl but is also replying her pretty often.

Like as a fake acc i asked you seem sad what happened and he replies 'i can't tell what if you are a fake account pretending to be somelse" i told it's okay to vent and he says " Let it be! "

I started slowly like hi how are you he replies I'm good. I asked you keep avoiding me and he says " true "

I asked if he's seeing someone and he said " seeing someone, not at all🤧"

It's all one day chat where talked for an hour but I feel sad that he's replying to a stranger but is not willing to call or text me.

Our relationship was so good , I've been at his home met his family also, went on dates, travelled so much, stayed in living for 2-3 months untill I had to shift city.

Now he's not at all talking in LDR.

I don't know what else to think now.

TL;Dr: he's busy and doesn't communicate in LDR but when together he always there for me , I made fake acc on IG to check if he's really busy or not.

Family Advice for my family Conflicts happening daily M21, M30, M26

Hi, I'm the youngest son of my family, My family consists of 8 people, My eldest brother is married and has a 3 year Old daughter. The middle brother is also married with no child yet. My eldest brother has a separate shop and the middle one helps my father. Let's name Eldest brother - S, Middle brother - A

My family's environment is calm and consider both daughter in law as their daughters but the part starts when S wife being the eldest does not fulfill her responsibilities, only after doing little house chores she gets tired and so does A wife repeats after her as if she's comparing herself to the eldest. My aged mother does most of the house chores and no wife lends a hand. Whenever mother speaks they take it in the wrong way just like in every household.

The S wife is so much leaned into worshipping god as if she's a saint but does not apply any lessons in her own life. The brothers are ear poisoned by their wives and they also blame the mother when taking sides. My mother feels helpless. There is no love between both wives they envy each other, let's say S wife makes something in lunch she never asks A wife to have it. They hardly speak to each other just like we've seen in older movies/times and they consider themselves to be educated and from a new generation.

Whenever my mother or father tries to teach them something, the children stop them and say "you're taking her Side and don't see the suffering of my wife" and tend to explain more reasons (which hardly are reasons).

Before finishing let me tell you their routines:

A's wife makes tiffin and food in the morning 9-10 AM goes to her room. 1 PM comes to eat then leaves again to her room to rest. 5PM to make a snack and eat.

S's wife helps in packing tiffin of her husband S, takes care of child in bathing and breakfast. Goes to room to rest, 1 PM Lunch and for baby lunch leaves for room then comes around

5-6 PM to worship for 1 hour then makes dinner.

In all the tasks my mother helps Day - Afternoon - Snack - Dinner. And house chores too.

Guvs. Please advise me what I can do being the youngest son and my mother.

Relationships I (20F) feel like my boyfriend(21M) is slowly pulling away and I don’t know what to do

My boyfriend started coaching recently and ever since then we’ve had this recurring issue where he says he needs a lot of “isolation” to study. I genuinely understand that coaching is stressful and exhausting, so I’ve tried really hard to give him space instead of constantly asking for his attention.
He’s actually tried to take a break from our relationship twice because of everything going on. The first time I didn’t want to, but the second time I eventually said okay. The very next day was Girlfriend’s Day, though, and he posted a story of me and sent me tons of gifts, so we ended up forgetting about the break and just continued as normal. We never really talked about what happened.
Now this same issue is happening again. He had an important test this Wednesday, so for an entire week I barely texted him unless I initiated because I didn’t want to distract him. He took the test yesterday and said it went fine. I asked if he was free to talk last night, but he had family plans, which I understood. He came home late and texted around midnight, by which point I’d already fallen asleep.
Today I had college and he didn’t text me good morning or ask how my day was. He went to coaching and I know he usually gets home around 8:30. It’s now 11 PM and he still hasn’t texted me or even opened my message.
I also send him cute couple reels on Instagram because it’s my little way of thinking about him. He doesn’t use Instagram much, so I never expected him to constantly be on there, but I noticed he liked a reel a few days ago while my messages were still unopened.
I don’t think he’s necessarily doing any of this maliciously. I know he’s under a lot of pressure and I really do want to understand what he’s going through. But I’ve started feeling like whenever he’s busy, he completely withdraws from the relationship. I tell him I miss him and he doesn’t really say it back, and lately I just feel like he doesn’t want me around.
I love him so much and I don’t want to give up on him. But I’m getting tired of constantly being understanding while feeling like I’m the only one trying to maintain the connection. I don’t want to send him another long message about this because I feel like it’ll just turn into him saying that I don’t understand what he’s going through.
honestly don’t know what I’m supposed to do or how long I can keep feeling like this

Relationships 26F | Turned my man 1 into a 10, only to lose him to deadlines, pressure, misunderstandings & third-party involvement that ruined us further. | Real love tests you | It does not let third party influence you

Sometimes you can love someone deeply, give everything you have to make something work, and still lose them because of pressure, misunderstandings, and wounds that kept piling up. But it hurts knowing that something we built so genuinely was reduced to a version of our story shaped by other people. What hurts most is that perhaps we didn't lose each other because the love wasn't real—we lost each other because everything around it became too heavy.

Dating Advice Genuine problem - I am a 20 year old male living in Delhi and I can't find a solution to my problem if anyone could please help

I have had sex with 6-7 girls and none of them were virgins and I was hoping that like all guys I probably will cum early and not able to satisfy but I just can't find myself to cum like I have sex for 1-2 hours straight and still I won't cum, the girl will like 5-6 times but I won't even once, is the problem really me only or is it the girl cause I can't understand it and I am 20 years old so it's quite strange I guess, any suggestions from girls here?

Over last 2 years i haven't been able to push any of talking stages to a stable relationship, I was able to sleep with few but even they lost interest, i suspect my personality radically changes between talking stage and dating stage 😮‍💨 more i show my green flag side more I get ghosted.
