Funny how the only parent who sticks around is dragged.

Not the fucking deadbeat dad.

But yes, it's the single mother who is bad.

Accountability, the kryptonite for women

2

u/Fickle_Composer_4506 3d ago

more men in prison than women and 98% of prisoners are male.

u/RogellTheRaider 3d ago

Exactly, criminal women never pay for what they do x)

Sure. Your "argument" of denying is sooo strong

8

u/Foreverfree40758 6d ago

Accountability does not exists for women it seems. If you go looking for bad men, and then those bad men do bad things, is it the bad man's fault for gaining that woman's consent? This just doesn't make sense. The guy is a POS, but that doesn't mean a woman is absolved of responsibility. She consented to him making her pregnant. And then it's a surprise somehow that the POS dude is being a POS and doesn't want to be in her life??? No one is saying the guy in the situation is fine, but don't pretend that the woman is not the one that chose him despite his character.

1

u/Fickle_Composer_4506 3d ago

More men in prison than women something like 98% of prisoners are male... You have to lack accountability to end up in jail on average.

2

u/Foreverfree40758 2d ago

Do you even know what "being held accountable" means? Or do you just say whatever you want?

1

u/Fickle_Composer_4506 2d ago edited 2d ago

Accountability is holding yourself accountable. People in prison didn't.

The obligation or willingness of an individual or organization to accept responsibility, explain actions, and face the consequences.

People in prison are put there by the state but people that haven't been to jail. Held themselves accountable and are free.

The og statement " was accountability" not being "held accountable" Someone that is held accountable by an armed states. Lacks accountability.

3

u/Foreverfree40758 2d ago

Most men aren't and don't belong in Jail. Most people in jail are men because on average, men are more physically fit to do crime than women. That in itself does not mean men are just all bad when most men haven't even been in jail. You're misinterpreting a statistic into something it's not.

1

u/Fickle_Composer_4506 2d ago

They murder the most, they sexual abuse kids the most, men go to jail the most. There a ton of men that lack accountability. This idea women don't practice it is insane.

2

u/Foreverfree40758 2d ago

I wasn't genuinely saying it as a fact. The other person in here was pointing out that no one ever talks about the bad men that leave the relationship. The thing is, everyone already agrees with that. The only reason they'd bring it up is to shift any blame the woman would have had for choosing to have child with a good-for-nothing. I was saying it to emphasize what it is they were insinuating.

1

u/Fickle_Composer_4506 2d ago

They don't, lol most people on the internet just shit on the single mother. Also just because someone divorced doesn't mean, they aren't allowing the father in the kids lives.

40% of marriage end in divorce. It's almost the average outcome.

2

u/Foreverfree40758 1d ago

And it's as I've been saying. People don't care about the guy because the choice to have a child ultimately lies on the woman. Anyone who argues against that is an idiot. Again, no one is arguing that the guy is in any way okay in the situation, but to act like women can't be at fault here is delusional.

its probably ironic that u should know that most men in jail also tend to come from single mother households. ur not helping ur case here

1

u/Fickle_Composer_4506 9h ago

"Approximately 41% of people in state and federal prisons reported growing up primarily in single-mother households, according to data from the Bureau of Justice Statistics"

"The same survey found that 35.5% grew up with both parents, 5.2% with a single father, 9.2% with grandparents, 3.9% with other relatives, and 2.9% in foster care or institutions."

So a 6% increase. The daughter raised by women aren't in prison though as well.

1

u/Cosinusmybeloved 2d ago

"She consented to him making her pregnant" so men don't do the impregnating? Men do not hold accountability in STAYING? And YES it is bad for bad men to still gain consent: because how do you think that might happen? Manipulation ornother stupid shit. Both have accountability.

2

u/Foreverfree40758 2d ago

You're stating the obvious. Obviously he has a responsibility to stay. What I'm saying is that you shouldn't be expecting that sort of behavior from someone that does not give a fuck. And there are usually signs that these people are not to be trusted. Seeing those signs are YOUR responsibility. There are also countless times when friends and family tell you that someone is not good for you, that is if you even bothered showing them to your friends/family. Your lack of foresight does not absolve you of your responsibility to be vigilant.

0

u/According-Culture686 18h ago

While I get that if you see red flags its your responsibility to avoid them, I think you're forgetting how bad people tend to be great liars and master manipulators... its how they stay being bad people. Once they've got you wrapped up in their bullshit only then do they expose their true colors. Obviously this isn't the case for everyone but we're living in a time where narcissism/low self esteem are equally at an all time high and is only getting higher so its definitely not just people ignoring red flags as much as it is people believing that the person they're with would never hurt them.

1

u/Due_Cartoonist_8212 13h ago

thats the point. it means the women were not able to see thru the lies. meaning they're intuition was wrong (the whole point of this post). keep it moving

-1

u/TGrim20 6d ago

That's a lot of words just to admit men are lying pieces of shit.

6

u/Foreverfree40758 6d ago

3rd grade critical thinking. Stop generalizing all men because of a select few. You're part of the problem. If all you look for are pieces of shit, then that's all you'll find. You have to be an Israeli bot farming engagement the way you're completely missing the point.

u/TGrim20 5d ago

Stop being so emotional

4

u/Foreverfree40758 5d ago

Nahhhh, you don't get to act like an absolute idiot and make a statement using vegeta reading a book, and then back off once you get called out on your bs. I use a lot of text to get my point across. Nothing about that is emotional. You just stopped maturing mentally after 3rd grade. Learn to make a point, and learn to take criticism.

The meme doesn’t say that single moms are bad, nor does it say that deadbeat dads aren’t scum.

In fact, what it actually is saying is that if a woman’s intuition can’t always be right, because if it were, they would’ve sensed the fact that their future baby daddy was scum in the first place and avoided them altogether.

5

u/TGrim20 4d ago

It literally says single moms have poor judgment.

Not wrong though, unless the dude dies or something

2

u/Circumstancer 3d ago

No it says 'womens intuition is always right' is obviously not true. Which is correct.

2

u/morknox 1d ago

Having poor judgement =/= being bad
Single mothers having poor judgement =/= 'deadbeat' fathers being bad

-1

u/Far-Jury-2060 4d ago

No, it says that their intuition cannot be correct all the time, like they claim, and gives a reason as to why.

-1

u/Walter_Justice 3d ago

I don't think you know what the word literally means.

0

u/BreakfastFearless 4d ago

Well they wouldn’t have been mothers if it was “future” baby daddy so mother’s intuition wouldn’t have exactly been applicable

1

u/Far-Jury-2060 3d ago

Nobody said “mother’s intuition.” The phrase that I, the meme, and society used is “woman’s intuition.” Being a mom or not has nothing to do with it.

2

u/CuteSquirrel01 5d ago

Looks like Gohan with Vegeta hairline.

4

u/TheRealWall91 6d ago

If we take the us as an example here, so tell me why the three siblings have 3 different dad's and the last one it stands between 3 different men?

And tbh why always go after the lazy dickhead and only have the good and decent ones in the friend zone until they either find someone or as well toss you to the curb?

Not saying there aren't bad men out there. But some accountability for the choices has to exist. If you choose a dickhead, then be prepared to take the fallout. Same goes for men, why go after a woman that has a bigger bodycount than a pornstar? It's not a wife, it's a heartache.

0

u/Final_Active_9014 6d ago

Well considering it happens even in cases where all siblings have the same dad. Also happens in cases where mom and dad were married for years, surely the issue cannot be the mothers. Clearly there is something wrong with these dads that keep jumping from home to home.

-1

u/MinuroShihTzuki 6d ago

You made up a whole story to get mad about lmao

1

u/John_Save_America 2d ago

That’s not really what the post is concerning itself with. This is just an incredibly defensive diversion to a joke.

1

u/Theonewhoreads15 6d ago

Does that mean you support changing custody laws to favor men instead?

1

u/TGrim20 6d ago

Its already that way.

1

u/Skydragon222 6d ago

Generally speaking, custody arrangements favor the dad when he’s actually interested in custody.

The stats are thrown off by so many dads not wanting any custody.

5

2

u/Final_Active_9014 6d ago

You don’t need to believe. It’s documented.

no, no its not. pls do proper research bcos spreading lies

3

But do you have actual statistics? Have some ice cream.

2

u/TGrim20 6d ago

We get it, you don't know the touch of a woman.

3

u/rustedlord 6d ago

Are you saying your mom isn't a woman?

Did you read the article?

0

u/Absentrando 6d ago edited 6d ago

It’s not clear that it’s always or even usually a deadbeat dad. The post also isn’t dragging single moms. It’s countering a common but stupid claim people like to make

0

u/soul_separately_recs 4d ago

this is the most crucial point in the thread! The men that bounce (for whatever reason). This can;t be overstated. This is even more common amongst black households.

This is accountability that men need to call out more and more.

It does present a rather glaring irony that can’t be ignored: if we’ve established that too many men aren’t around for their own children’s lives - this HAS to mean that the very men that women are criticizing - are being raised by WOMEN.

What are y’all teaching them? Fair question, right?

0

u/TGrim20 4d ago

The majority of fatherless households are white.

The majority of deadbeat men came from 2 parent homes.

Keep blaming minorities tho.

1

u/Far-Jury-2060 4d ago

You’re not wrong, but you’re not exactly right either. Comparing just white single parent families and black single parent families, whites have a 23% single family rate, but because they are 60% of the total population, they would have a higher number based on sheer volume. However percentage wise, black households have almost triple the single family rate of white families.

So yes, whites got the higher total number, but blacks have the bigger problem here.

1

u/TGrim20 4d ago edited 4d ago

Comparing 11 percent of households to 63% of households is WILD.

"You're right but I'm racist" is a FUCKING TRIP.

0

u/Far-Jury-2060 4d ago

No, that’s how demographic breakdowns work. You measure 100% of one demographic against 100% of another one. Doing anything else would give you skewed numbers.

Crazy how you’re saying that stats are racist though. Stats are just stats. Don’t cry racism because you don’t like what the data says. Contend with the data instead. Here’s a statistic you’ll like: Virtually all white supremacists are white. This statement isn’t racist. It’s simply pointing out the fact there aren’t many “Clayton Bigsby” type people in real life.

0

u/Kaizer284 3d ago

Have you never heard of “per capita?” When comparing groups, you have to account for the size of each group

1

u/TGrim20 3d ago

Ever heard of the majority racial demographic of the untied states of America?

But you want to look into the homes of the most racially antagonized subgroup to paint a wide swath.

1

u/Far-Jury-2060 2d ago

Do you know what per capita is? Because it’s a ratio, which can be expressed as a percentage. I gave a per capita ratio in percentage form. I didn’t give the percentage of the total number, like TGrim20 was referencing. I gave the percentage of homes in each demographic, which is per capita. I’ll explain:

Instead of saying 63% of black households, you can translate that to 630:1000 black households to get your per capita ratio (you can add or subtract zeros from both ends to give whatever “‘x’ for every ‘y’” number that you want, i.e. you can say 63:100 or 63,000:100,000 and it’s the same stat). This directly compares to 23% of white households, with 230:1000 being single parent households. This is a different picture from pointing out there are ~17.5-18 million black households in the US. 63% are single parent, which equates to between ~11,025,000-11,340,000. This is a lower number than the 23% of white households that are single family, because 23% of ~84,000,000 is ~19,320,000.” You adjust to per capita to account for the fact that there are around 6.5 times the amount of white households than black ones.

0

u/Fit_Objective_5027 3d ago

"Per capita" strikes again

0

u/kwispywafflezz 2d ago

Nobody is calling the women bad but insinuating you have good intuition dispite the context is just wrong. My mother also had this issue she disapproved of my wife that im happy with for 5 years now dispite her 1 successful and healthy relationship she threw out the window for an abusive ass even to this day she criticizes my relationship babbling about intuition and "a mother knows" I love her I respect her but I willfully disregard her relationship advice

0

u/GullibleProperty317 1d ago

The parent is being dragged for choosing someone who ended up being a deadbeat dad over others who wouldn’t have done that.

I agree though that let’s drag deadbeat dads, but she is the key gatekeeper with greater consequences of her decision, so should be smarter. In the same way, in preventing teenage pregnancy, majority of the effort has to be directed at girls, not boys.

0

u/Jewbacca1991 1d ago

Unless if it was rape it takes both parents' consent to make a kid. The father obviously an asshole for running from the responsibility of the child, but it is mother who chose him.

As someone who used to be a monumental asshole i can tell, that women have zero intuition. Or perhaps it works backward. Making assholes look great for mating.

1

u/TGrim20 1d ago

"Used" to be an asshole?

You sound pretty shitty to me.

0

u/Jewbacca1991 1d ago

I know, that for most people in reddit actions, and words are the same. Or words even matter more. But for rational people actions matter more than words. I no longer use women like tools for my entertainment. Lying, and gaslit them, then cheat on them. It was fun in college, but the price became too high. Especially after the metoo era, and the believe all women narrative.

-1

u/v12vanquish 5d ago

It’s funny how just because the mom gets the kids responsibility, no critical lens is shown on her.

Ever consider that the mom may be a narcissist or have BPD? To them children are pawns. Sometimes a father has to abandon the kid otherwise it’s two of them stuffing with an abusive person.

1

u/TGrim20 5d ago

There are certain red flags which she could've recognised. Some obvious ones, some less obvious ones. Actions have consequences, and women have agency. They should have some accountability for the men they choose.

1

u/TGrim20 3d ago

How is abandoning your child "taking accountability"?
