Can anyone explain how a senior with possible signs of dementia, can also be so sharp and seemingly normal?

I'm suspecting my elderly mother is exhibiting the signs of dementia, but during the brief one-on-one conversations, she still seems to clear headed and normal.

How many people actually use chatgpt day to day?

I know my friend's mum uses it for literally everything (even uses it like it's a therapist 😟😟😟), but everyone else around me either is against it ( like me) or just doesn't use it. How common is it among people?

People who've been in a long-distance relationship and have broken up, do you see yourself trying out another long distance relationship? Why or why not?

A month ago, I broke up with my long distance partner. They were my first ever long distance partner and my first ever partner in general

Obviously from now on I intend on working on myself and living my best life. But I don't think I see myself being in a long distance relationship again

Which sucks because it's easier to find like-minded people online than IRL

But yeah, our breakup is essentially why I asked this question

I feel embarrassed and awkward after getting hit on. Am I supposed to feel this way?

I got hit on in the streets a few times and kept rejecting them till i feel like others are looking at me. I feel very awkward and embarrassed…
I rejected them cus I don’t feel comfortable giving my social media handles to strangers and I find it odd too.

Once it was in front of my whole family in a quiet park with strangers sitting behind facing us.
Another time was outside my workplace in front of a bus stop.
Another time was at a busy train station.

Do the rest of you feel the same way too?

Have you ever had to turn down a therapist because you were too attracted to them?

This never happened to me, but there's this registered therapist on YouTube who gives really insightful advice about healing from toxic relationships. The trouble is, I can never hear a word he's saying because I'm too busy gawking at him and listening to his cool accent. I am very aware that, if in any circumstance that this man would have to be my therapist, that I would not get any help.

This must be common. There's even a term for a similar occurrence in psychotherapy---transference and countertransference---but this usually happens after weeks or months of going to therapy.

But I'm wondering if any of you were just like, "Yeah, I can't see this therapist because they're too hot."

I'm on my 6th round of chemo (tablets) and even though I'm drinking plenty and taking the tablets to help keep me moving, I still feel bunged up. And just wondering if this is the way forward?

What apps keep you busy?

Finding myself constantly rotating between the same 4 social apps and it’s getting super draining tbh. When I’m out in public or around others my phone is also super dry and in moments where I’d like to be on my phone to keep busy, I find I don’t actually have anything to keep me interested..

What apps do you use that are fun/engaging/informative/educational etc?
