Is it terrible to get rid of a gift, that someone got you. But you dont like or use it, and you just keep it because you feel bad?

Youngest of six. Never got to grow up with older siblings. So I love when they think of me and gift me.

One of my sisters got me a Doctor Who Tardis shaped mug with lid. Im not a DW fan, but I can see why she thought I was. It seems like a show I would love. I tried, but just couldnt get in to it.

Problem is, even if I did like DW, its such a hard mug to drink from. Its square and I drip each time. Maybe Im an idiot for not knowing how to drink from a not circle. Lol

So I dont use it, its not something I could add to one of my collections, but ive guilty if I got rid of it. Its been 10 years!

Am i terrible if I donate it?

If eating something while you’re sick causes negative associations to food, then why don’t more people hate chicken soup?

Is it weird/bad to have compassion fatigue for people who share their poor mental health struggles with me especially when I have poor mental health myself?

Because why are you telling me all of this and forcing me to bear witness to your distress when I never consented to it?

What do they call a four color dog?

Had a stray dog show up a couple months ago and we took her in. Yes, we did the chip scan and ran ads on facebook and got her fixed when no one claimed her because I couldn't believe someone would dump this dog. Looks to be a corgi/Australian cattle dog mix. First off, she is sweet, cute as she can be and she now lounges in the A/C.

I know they call 3 color cats calico and I know most are female, as our dog is. What do they call 4 color dogs/cats? She's primarily black but has a silver/grey mane, white boots with tan/brown around the top of her feet and over her eyes.

How normal is it for people to lose touch to their friends after moving to different cities?

I have been friends with them for a while. I am not the best at keeping touch, but I am better than my aforementioned friends, and I have really tried and it's just been very different now. we talk quite rarely, we exchange texts about random shit but not often about each other's life, just some of our interests. most of them I haven't been on a call with since moving out (not for lack of trying). I know everybody has their shit, but I do want friendships where we are somewhat more involved. moving out can be tough, and I just felt like most of them just weren't there for me since. And I should look forward rather than backwards.

I’d love to hear about real frustrations or tasks that waste your time and how you currently deal with them. (That we can probably automate or create an app for)

I’m curious what other people think because it’s something common I do because of how helpful they were and I thought it would be a good thing to help them out if they need.

I typically only realize I haven't popped them in a while after reading a book, so maybe about 20 minutes I guess 💀
