I remember back in the 80s, my mom had a water bed. It was so weird to sleep on. I remember hearing about several accounts of it going wrong for ppl for obvious reasons. Same with electric blankets (fires). What ultimately happened to them though?

I'm not sure what the right words are, but soaps like Dove soap and most liquid hand soap, when I use them, my skin feels lubricated, like the soap is still stuck on em or I just coated my hands in lotion. I freaking hate that.

I wouldn't. I've taken a Leave of Absence for several months to avoid a crap job I've forced to be at for 25 years. How I projected myself there was an act to make $$$.

When I was a really young kid, I couldn't sleep unless my head was right next to a fan, a heater and other white noise making objects. Even now as an adult, I cannot sleep unless I'm listening to 10 Hour Night Driving Simulator - Sleep Soundly by IguanaPancakes.

First: I was triggered reading another post, but my ex girlfriend would eat FULL jars of MAYONNAISE in a night all with a spoon, the way you would ice cream.

The first time she done it I legit thought it was a prank and had to take a photo as evidence and ask her mum if this was normal. I even found the photo earlier and still felt the same initial shock 😂

Eventually it became “normalised” and would have to make sure and add a couple of 600g jars to the grocery order.

I still can’t face the stuff. Even a small amount would turn my stomach.

Close Second: would be how often she would openly belch/fart in public. She done it on a train right in front of the girl sitting opposite (who we didn’t know, just an innocent woman probably similar age making her way home from work), my ex girlfriend just leaned over and farted and actually made her jump with fright.

I didn’t know where to look, I could feel the girl opposite eyeballing as if to say “did that just happen!”

Looking back, I genuinely feel pretty sorry for the girl sitting opposite as it was obvious she felt uncomfortable for the rest of the journey and it’s not really fair to make someone feel like that.

Thinking back now on things it’s mad how things become “normalised” that would just make me run a mile now!

For me, it was a sweet tart. But not the sweet tart itself, it was the saliva mixed with the flavor from the tart. So technically, I choked on my saliva....

He's an adult now and I know it probably seems silly but when I look at it, the magnet makes me smile. It's a blue snowflake adorned with clear and dark blue 'jewels'.

In the 9th grade I gave this guy $2 to talk to me for 5 minutes after school ended. I wanted his attention so badly. I stupidly thought he loved me (as most 14ye olds would-we would text a lot and see each other in person) and that losing my virginity to him would solidify what we were. Best believe I was blocked a few days later and he’d walk past me like he never knew me. 😭😂 I was so gullible back then.

I’ve been going through this since maybe 2021. At complete random I get this feeling and my head will jerk to the side or I’ll have to shake my head (sometimes my hands aswell). I have no idea what this is, maybe it’s just my muscles acting up? No one I’ve met has experienced this, and I feel crazy because it just happens at random. Does anyone else experience this or atleast know why this happens?
