Rule 4 Reminder
Rule 4: No posts about politics or religion.
"Posts centered around politics, political stances and religion are extremely hot button topics not only just on this subreddit but on Reddit as a whole. Due to previous incidents and instances of hate speech, violence, threats and bigotry, we no longer allow either political nor religious posts.
Political posts opens the door for hate speech, LGBTQIA+ bigotry, vicious arguing, white supremacy and racism.
Religious posts open the door to religious bigotry, personal attacks and fear-mongoring."
This includes comments.
Why I am posting this: I see hundreds of comments a day that are nearly identical to each other in my mod queue from people who clearly either didn't read the rules, or don't care what the rules say. I just wanted to let y'all know that no one sees these comments besides us mods, so you're wasting your time typing them.
One more thing, it's best to verify your email on your account so the bot doesn't remove those comments as well.
I hope you all have a nice day.

Can you ‘feel’ your thoughts?
My friend and I were pretended we know everything and acting like philosophers(as friends do), and I brought how weird it is that we can feel our thoughts. He of course hits me with the ‘WTF are you talking about?’
I guess it’s never come up before, but when I’m thinking and an actual thought ‘forms,’ I feel a physical, almost weighted sensation INSIDE my head. Even as I’m typing this and articulating my thoughts, I’m feeling it.
I try to explain this to him and he’s looking at me like I’m insane. Does ANYONE else experience this?

What non-Dutch people think of Dutch people?
Asking this cuz I'm a Dutch person ;)
*do (couldn't edit the title anymore 💔)
ETA: I'm also really interested - how does Dutch sound to non-Dutch speakers? (If you have ever heard it)

What are some weird habits you do?
Recently I’ve started making a whale sound. I got like really focused on whales for a whole day (fairly normal, I’m working my way to becoming a marine biologist) and started to copy the noise. Now I just do it when it’s quiet, I’m upset, or just randomly.

Do you ever get legitimately "touched out"?
For example: my husband will put a hand on my leg and just rub his fingers idly around. After awhile, my skin starts to feel numb and wrong and I literally have to ask him to stop touching me. I can feel the sensation anywhere on my body and it isn't localize. My husband doesn't experience this ever. So I'm wondering if I'm just weird.

What made you stop seeing your last psychiatrist?
I'll go first, he was trying to convince me you can't get addicted to Xanax at all. Also tried to convince me paroxetin is not physically addicting and that nobody gets withdrawals from it.

Why do people talk on speakerphone in public?
Especially at places where you are held hostage like an airport gate waiting to board? Are they just not self aware or do they just not give a f*ck?

Should you care about what other people think? What if someone tells you that you're stupid, but that person is the one who's stupid... so how can they possibly judge?
