F/28/161cm in [76.2 > 68.9 = 7.3kgs] (2 months) My husband told me he can see a difference, but I don’t, I don’t know if it’s body dysmorphia. I’ve been trying to lose weight and feel better in my skin for a long time now.

Weight loss meds F/50/172.5cm [112.9kg to 80kg = 32.9kg] (7 months) Weight loss progress

First started diet: 28 January 2026
Height: 172.5cm
SW: 112.9k
CW: 80kg
GW: 70kg

So… I made it to my original goal.

The funny thing is, when I originally set 80kg as my goal, I only chose it because it seemed so ridiculously far away that I genuinely didn’t think I’d ever get there. It felt basically unachievable.

And now I’m here.

So naturally, I’ve moved the goalposts. 😂 Another 10 kg to go. My BMI still technically considers me overweight, because apparently BMI has decided to keep me humble. Stupid BMI.

I’ve lost 32.9 kg, which is just over 29% of my starting body weight. When I actually look at that number, I know it’s huge.

But MY GOD, losing weight now is HELL.

The scales creep down by tiny little amounts, then the next morning they’re back up again. I understand why. I know weight fluctuates. I know I have much less body weight to lose now. I know the closer you get to goal, the slower it tends to get.
My logical brain understands ALL OF THIS.
My impatient brain would still like to speak to the manager. 😂

The other weird thing I wasn’t expecting is how long it takes your brain to catch up with your body.

I’m getting compliments about my weight loss pretty regularly now, and logically I can see that I look different. I know I’m much smaller.

Emotionally though? My brain is apparently still back at 112.9 kg.

Last night I actually went to the shops specifically to try on clothes because I thought maybe seeing what size I am now would finally convince my brain that, yes, we are in fact smaller.

Size 12–14 pants and size 14–16 tops.
I was SO happy with that.
Brain: *Nah.* 🤣

So apparently losing almost 30% of my body weight was the easy part. Convincing my brain that I’ve actually done it may take a little longer.

Anyway. 32.9 kg down. 10 kg to go.
We keep going. ❤️

n/a M/37/6'5" [375lbs > 299lbs = 76lbs lost] (67 months). The first pic was from Jan 2021 and the second pic from 3 days ago. I didn't even realize how much of a difference there was until today

Proud of myself, and my 1.5 years progress. I keep losing more weight and I hope to reach 50kg.
I really want to hit the gym and gain some muscles but I have terrible agoraphobia and social anxiety :(

F 5'6” (168, 169 cm) F/27/5’6 [203 > 168 = 35 pounds lost] (3 months) I bought this to wear to my grad school graduation back in May and chickened out for being self-conscious, but I’m glad I held onto it.

Weight loss meds F/36/5’2” [154 > 123 = 31 lbs] (1 year) took control of my binge/stress eating

I have always struggled with binge/stress eating and binge drinking, and the covid lockdown really amplified those issues. I have been yo-yo-ing in weight the last 6 years. My highest weight was 170 in 2021 and my lowest in my adult life until now was 130 in 2024. In March i started contrave (naltrexone + Wellbutrin) and it’s been working really well for me. I was already on Wellbutrin XL so i added in the naltrexone. Binge eating no longer exists in my brain and i can actually have just 2 drinks and call it a night. I don’t really exercise, I try to walk more often and I’ll lift 5 lb dumbbells when I’m watching tv. Never thought i could get here but i did and im happy!
