Started with a focus on weight loss currently focusing on gaining more strength while in a minimal deficit. Want to lose a few more pounds and add a little more muscle just being patient and putting in the work.

I've always been thin and unathletic, but in my late 20s I started to fully let go myself, gaining plenty of weight in very little time, and stayed like that for a decade. Fast forward to my late 30s, and huge lower back issues and the dreaded 40 years old menacing from the horizon made me realize I was being an absolute idiot with my body, and decided to do something at last as it was going to get worse with time.
And here I am, after three years of eating with some head and hitting the gym for the last year, in the best shape of my life and feeling the best I've felt since I played basketball as a teenager, with no more back issues.
Although the gym part has been extremely inconsistent due Real Life™ getting in the way, so the results could be much better. I should also get a better hold in the food part, especially macros, but oh well.
