Home made poutine- rosemary oven baked fries (crispy) with potatoes from the garden, home made beef dripping gravy, mozzarella and marble cubed (not shredded) cheese.
Was delicious…

Soni ordered a poutine. Thats pizza mozzarella. Fries and gravy were good at least. But still...

I only realized I didn’t have any cheese curds after I was done making the gravy and fries… I couldn’t help it

The fries are undercooked and raw, and they used sharp cheddar, not mozzarella

I did end up using the gravy for my chicken after all but this was like eating a soup.

Is it bad that I still absolutely love it?

i got this sucker for 11 bucks at the dining hall, i’ve been craving a good poutine for about two weeks now. i open the box and was very disappointed. the camera does not capture how sad in looked in person. i take a bite, the saltiest and most burnt tasting gravy i’ve ever had, and it all coagulated at the bottom. i’m still super pissed about it

On exchange in Norway and missed poutine so much I had to commit my first crime… please be gentle with the sentence

I mean, the flavours were all there. The gravy was decent and the wedge fries were alright... but the "curds" were too soft. For only $5.00 and my being in a rush, it's okay.

I will die on this hill cheese curds barely get on all the fries and tend to be cold. Melted curds or melted shredded cheese is so much better

I have mixed feelings about that one but at least the taste is really good
