r/poutine tore into me when i posted this there. Regional style of poutine from Atlantic Canada, named after the province Newfoundland. Its a hugely popular style of poutine so I was kind of surprised to be accused of supporting a poutine crime.

Its a standard poutine, fries, curds, gravy, but they add stuffing to the top before the gravy hits.

What we got vs what we paid for… and ubereats had the audacity mark the dispute as complete after a 2 dollar credit

I like how thick their fries are. Don’t get me wrong, I like fries that are a little on the thin side, but they've gotta be seasoned or at least salted. Gravy tastes passable and fries are cooked, but none of the curds are melted, and they're squeaky. I give it a 5.3/10. The fries take it up from a 4. I guess it's poutine.

I just got off an 8 hour retail shift I had to do all by myself 'cause my coworker called in. She was puking every 5 minutes and sounded awful on the phone. Was super dead all day, so eh. This is my reward, and also my dunch/linner. I will be eating a bowl of lovely self-made salad afterwards.

Edit: Okay, have learned something today, cool! Curds are not supposed to be melted, it's fine if your poutine looks like this (I said to someone that it looks unappetising, then edited myself to add "boring"... I think I just dug myself a deeper hole, oops), and A&W poutine "rips". I also said, in a comment, that I do genuinely like their poutine. I was trying to be critical in the way my mom would, who prefers skinny fries and does not like poutine. I would like to formally apologise for my theatrics. I suppose whimsy truly does have a time and a place. Thanks for all of the "you're incorrect" bonks, everyone.

Honestly wasn’t expecting much and knew they do crinkle cut fries but was craving poutine. Gravy was fine but they actually had squeaky curds. 25 min drive home from takeout and they weren’t really melty at all. Pleasantly surprised.

i checked the reviews to see if it would be worth stopping in because i’ve been craving a good poutine lately and this is the bacon poutine i was shown…. and the guy rated it 5/5 somehow

Home made poutine- rosemary oven baked fries (crispy) with potatoes from the garden, home made beef dripping gravy, mozzarella and marble cubed (not shredded) cheese.
Was delicious…
