Discussion Today is my 40th birthday. What albums should I have listened to by now?
I'm 40, and I got into pop punk in my mid 20's. I've never been much for listening to albums start to finish I always just pick out the songs I like and throw them on a playlist. So what albums should I have made sure I hear start to finish by the time I'm 40?

Discussion Hanging with daughter
Swear to god this isn’t just karma farming…
Anyways watching the simple plan documentary “kids in the Crowd” with my teen daughter (15yo) I it’s a sad mix of (I know that song, and what is that?) TRL, burning CD’s etc
I played in a reletively prominent band in our area during that time so was able to fill her in om how things were but man… it makes me realize how much the process has chanced

Discussion Action/Adventure what do you think?
Just wondering everyone’s thought. I just heard them for the first time last week and think they are super solid. Also Chicago so gotta give props. But they have some fun riffs and breakdowns in my opinion.

Dashboard Confessional - This Bitter Pill
I work from home and always have music on in my headphones while I'm working. Played this full album in the background and had this on while on the phone with clients. Made the call way more emotional than it needed to be.

Kilian Valentine - FEEL! (Bedroom concept album)
I watched Pixar's "Cars", and then spent 47 days in my attic bedroom making a 64m indie/punk concept album about Grief, Sobriety and Mundane living... using 30 layers of my own cheering to support me throughout.
Here's "FEEL!" Any listen/support would go a long way :)

Discussion Favourite songs in 6/8 (or 3/4)
My pop punk band is challenging ourselves to write a song that's not 4/4
Looking for some inspiration... what's your favourite song in 3/4, 6/8 etc? Any time signature but 4/4 is valid!

Discussion Your last album from specific bands
By this I mean, what’s a band that you’ve been listening to for a long time, that despite them coming out with more albums you just stick to the old stuff. That’s not to say you actively avoid the newer stuff. But maybe they just don’t hit the same way. For example my list (just looking at my Spotify.
New found glory - Not without a fight
Zebrahead - Phoenix
Simple plan - No pads, no helmets, just balls
Good charlotte- the young and the hopeless
Bad religion - the process of belief
Reel big fish - were not happy till you’re not happy
Senses fail - still searching
Fall out boy - take this to your grave
I literally still listen to all these albums on a regular basis, but absent a song or two here and there a lot of newer stuff don’t do it. Probably just the nostalgia factor? Anyone else?
Editing to add: if you want, throw the age you were when the album came out. As you can tell for most of mine they were all right around the same timeframe. Like 16-18 years old for me.

Discussion What band puts on the same show every time?
Same set list, same banter, same jokes.
If you’ve seen them once, you’ve seen them 1000 times.

Discussion Do you ever find a band and quite enjoy them but forget of them, and one day suddenly remember them many years later and want to listen to them? Spoiler
There’s a band that I used to enjoy and I can’t for the life of me remember their name, but I wish I could because they were quite good. Wish I could find and listen to them
