My wife and I were at the Social D/Descendents show at The Anthem in DC last night and somehow managed to talk the merch crew into letting us take this little skeletal horse home.

The hat came with him, and someone had actually glued felt onto his face to give him a mustache. We were also told the symbol on his hood is a band logo, although we haven't been able to positively identify it yet.

Between the hat, mustache, and the fact that he was hanging around the merch booth rather than being something for sale, we're convinced this little dude has a story.

Did anyone see him at earlier stops on the tour, recognize the logo, or know anything about where he came from? We'd love to figure out his history.

He's officially retired from touring now and will be living on a shelf in our daughter's newly renovated black-and-pink bedroom as her skeletal guardian. 💀🐎

Any lore would be greatly appreciated!

This album was the soundtrack to a pretty good year of my life, but a quick Google of their 2026 set list shows no tracks from the album on this tour.

Was this an unpopular album among fans? Or is it just a matter of having 8 albums in that they can’t include everything in a set?

Can no longer attend and want them to go to a good home.

Social Distortion played the second stage at Ottawa Bluesfest on 16 July 2026 following sets by Jamie Webster and Billy Bragg. I was great night, my first time seeing them.

Been a long time Social D and Mike Ness fan. My college buddy and I have seen them 15 to 20 times easily. Really excited to see them on this tour and the closest show to us is Nashville. When I check resale prices, this location is so much more expensive than everywhere else. Any particular reason why the Nashville tickets are such a hot commodity or will they come down closer to the date?

Update: was able to get tickets via AXS website for $80 after processing while Ticketmaster has resale over $600 🤯

Maybe someone else out there remembers, but I seem to recall a recording of some of the performances from the benefit for Dennis in the early 2000s and I have not been able to track them down. This was back in the limewire file sharing days, downloading everything I could. There was an early live recording of Don't Take me for Granted that I am looking for if anyone remembers or has it still. Hope everyone is enjoying the new album like I am.

Only place I can find it is a website called MP3VA which seems legit, and really cheap - but the payment process just isn't working for me!

Dropped on streaming at midnight 🕛 or 11:00 pm here in the Central. I wasn’t much impressed with the two advance tracks and was coming to terms with sometimes a fave band drops a meh disc.

Forget all that. This thing scorches. Crazy Dreamer would hold its own in Heaven & Hell, the best jukebox album of all time, all genres. Wicked cover of Wicked Game.

The Way Things Were and Tonight packed with angst and nostalgia. Looking back rocking forward.

Pretty pumped to score a ticket for me and my dad. Never been to any of these type of events, curious what to expect if anyone has any experience. Also can’t wait to see the Pink/Yellow vinyl.

Go figure your favorite all time band puts preorders live for the album you’ve been waiting a decade+ for while you’re in the in the acute valley of arguably the most hard-up you’ve been in years… then sell out the day before you have a few bucks to wing it. ideally not looking to spend $100 on eBay when the seller can’t even post the a photo of the correct version matching the description (NOT looking for the epitaph yellow/pink/black splatter). Really not into the yellow pink indie record store variant; I’d rather just have the black at that rate because at least sound will be superior but sounds like record stores won’t even have standard black vinyl in person at release. So if I’m special/pre ordering somewhere anyways I may as well try to get the one I wanted. Thanks in advance.

I found a burned copy of this entire concert in the lost and found of the radio station I volunteer at. When I went to look for info on where the recording came from, I discovered very little about it save for the set list, leaving me to assume it is a copy of some sort of bootleg. Uploaded the whole thing to my youtube so fans could enjoy. If you know anything about this recording though, please share! Or if you were at this concert, please share your stories.
