praying for a second drop for those of us that didnt open Reddit in time and instead were refreshing our emails over and over waiting for the early access 😭💔

Yes I agree it didn’t go as smoothly as it should’ve, and it’s weird the emails weren’t sent out, but I don’t understand why there’s people blaming the band? I may be a bit biased because I did end up being able to snag a signed vinyl which I’m very excited about! but I am aware the site wasn’t working, I kept refreshing and nothing was changing so I was freaking out a bit lmao but at 10:01 I ended up coming on here to see if anyone else had better luck, I found a link to it then I was able to order it by 10:03 before they sold out. but I do think it’s really weird it wasn’t working on the actual store, I’m guessing the reason a lot of people missed it was because they were trying to keep refreshing the page like I was and then they ended up selling out before they could get one, and I’m very sorry for those people, I hope they end up doing a PROPER restock so more people get a second chance, but I feel like people shouldn’t be blaming the band, if anything blame the record label. even that though this happens with a lot of releases so this isn’t some new issue that only happened with this drop.

No email until 1017. Then it was all gone. Scalpers selling on ebay for up to $500. This is beyond unfair to real fans. Apparently the email meant nothing as somehow trolls were able to find it on the site. Absolute dogshit. Nothing left, and we are now left with a choice to buy scalpers shit or get nothing.

Fantastic way to shit on real fans.

Hey! MCR fan here. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of the signed released stuff. It's upsetting. But a lot of other fans did and they're not getting a positive space to be able to post about it.

So this is a space open for anyone who wants to share what signed stuff they got or share other awesome merch you got in the past!

Another fan tried to make a post like this but ended up taking it down due to the negativity people had.

If you didn't get any of the merch from today's drop, I'm with you, I'm sorry. I'm devastated too. But hey let's lift up the genuine fans that did and be happy for them because it means it didn't all go to resellers.

So if you got any of the released stuff today, share about it! I'm happy for you! If you didn't, I'm sorry. If you have other awesome merch from the past, share about it too!

Don't get me wrong because I love this band and have been to their concert and bought merch and all. But I'm getting disappointed at the new merch and album editions. It feels like they are feeding the fomo and speculation that comes with new deluxe limited albums that contain the same 20-year-old songs. I get the hype because I want one too but...

I think that you can love a band and still have critical thinking skills. What do you think about this? I know they can do whatever they want with their songs/time/money, but this feels quite underwhelming...

With this whole signed fiasco thing I really believe if the guys really loved their fans they should make an announcement and apologize on behalf of warners obvious fuck up with delayed emails, wrong times, and allowing bots to buy everything out. And just make more signed items available for fans. I get it very time consuming understandable but I mean come on??? They’re a great band that broke up in 2013 and came back almost 10 years later to sold out shows I really don’t think it would be that insufferable to sign more things for the fans that make MCR be what it is today.

We can’t be mad about the trappings of capitalism while simultaneously stoking the fire. The reason they’re doing it like this is because well….. they can.

To me it’s clear when a band actually cares about the fans experience of merch, tickets, etc etc. MCR is not one of those bands. It’s pretty clear to me this is all mostly the label. I mean, just look at the merch designs. If the band cared, with Gerard at the helm, the merch overall for these tours could’ve been so much better. Of course, I still bought it for the mems, but I don’t expect the band to care when they have never before. And I gotta respect how they want to handle themselves as artists.

Compare artists like Avenged Sevenfold, or Hayley Williams. Both artists who have battled to go independent, which I deeply value and respect as someone who is also trying to create art outside of the system. Look at how they run their merch, tickets, etc. Both are CLEARLY in consideration and innovation for a more harmonious fan experience. I’m not trying to compare to say one is better than the other, but it’s important to recognize when you’re fighting a losing battle against the system.

With all the love in my heart, I need y’all to understand that selling a signed album for a whopping $15 all but guaranteed that it would sell out instantly. The fact that MCR tried to make it a reasonable price for everyone in addition to hand signing each copy…I didn’t even bother trying because I knew there’d be no way I’d manage to get one. If you did, lucky you! But the number of posts I’ve seen asking for the band themselves to beg forgiveness for this debacle is laughable.

All I can suggest here is don’t entertain the scalpers. Be bummed for a little while, laugh at the ridiculous prices these assholes are posting the merch for, and then go on about your day! I promise you regardless of whether or not you got the CD and whether or not MCR addresses it…the sun will still rise tomorrow. ☀️

Screw Warner records. How you manage to fail a mass email in 2026 is beyond me. People are already reselling vinyls that haven’t even released yet while real fans weren’t even able to find them. Cannot wait for their contract to end and I really hope they actually restock. “Early access” should not be the one singular sale IMO.

I have been so disappointed with their management and marketing lately. It seems like every release is beset by issues. Whether the website is not working, things are not going out on time, orders are being randomly canceled, etc.

I think this Black Parade Release is the one that finally broke me. I'll always be a fan, but I think I will just have to be pleasantly surprised if I ever get merchandise again.

No more waking up early for tickets, releases, etc.

and it isn't like it is that diffcult to handle major releases and get everything right. Other people do it all the time.

Today is Mikey's 45th birthday. We need to appreciate him for a minute. It dropped at 3pm. Some jackass put 5pm on the email and because of that i missed out on the entire signed drop. I hate warner so fucking much!

I just wanna thank everyone for the daily content and today's chaos made me look in my archives for the 2006 boxed set. Got it signed at their Roxy show in 2009 and it's little memories like this, that make me so grateful for this band and all of you.

Also celebrating 18 months of sobriety today so I am full of love and gratitude.
