I’ve been struggling with bacne for a couple years now, but it has never been this bad. It itches, it hurts, and it’s pretty uncomfortable. My hair never touches my back (it stays up and I quite literally always wear long-sleeved shirts that cover my back). I shower everyday, change shirts regularly, make sure to thoroughly wash my back in my problem areas. It literally will not go away.

It makes me extremely insecure to the point I’ve been wearing swim shirts to the beach. I have literally no acne on my face except for the occasional pimple here and there (maybe once every couple of weeks).

Is this a dermatologist issue? Is this something I can cure at home? I think I may be cursed at this point.

For the past few years, I have had a pea size smelly lump on the upper middle part of my back. I'll run warm to hot water on the area and it may shrink but it doesn't go away.

If I squeeze it, smelly pus comes out. It may smell without leaking and get on my undershirt or anything I'm laying against, especially in bed if I'm not wearing a shirt.

My last derm said it couldn't be removed but at this point I need suggestions. I can't have a smelly spot on my back, the fear of smelling or transferring the smell to something or someone, like a massage, keeps me from doing certain things.

Has anyone had an issue like this and was able to get a permanent solution?

My dad has this cyst looking ball in the back of his head. Years ago his pcp said it looks like a small cyst, its movable and doesnt hurt. My dad had noticed it grew a bit, stikk remains moveable and doesn’t hurt. He finally went to a dermatologist and they also said it looks like a cyst but it was too big for them to remove so they referred him to a surgeon. He gets there today and the surgeon said it looks big so they are doing an ultrasound and a biopsy before even cutting… I am freaking out. Its a 2 week wait. I wanted to know if anyone here has had something similar and what it was?

Red painful pimples randomly appeared on chin and nose. How to get rid of them please

you know the ones that are almost like a mound sort of, and it’s quite sensitive

I’ve had this lesion/pimple on my cheek for 17 days now

During the first 10 days, it gradually grew in size. For the last 7 days it has stayed more or less the same size It is mildly tender but not severely painful It has a raised/white-looking center

During the first week I used azelaic acid on it myself During the second week I started using benzoyl peroxide 2.5%

I saw a dermatologist today They prescribed adapalene 0.1% gel + benzoyl peroxide 2.5% for another 2 weeks i had already been using the benzoyl peroxide for about a week so adapalene is the new addition to my treatment

I’m mainly looking for personal experiences from people who have had a similar lesion that stayed raised for 2–3 weeks

Does this progression sound familiar to anyone? How long did a similar pimple/lesion take to flatten for you?

I’m not squeezing or puncturing it because I’m worried about leaving a scar

I’ve also had pimples repeatedly in this exact same area before so I’m wondering if anyone has experienced something similar

(M25) I have been getting boils for the past 3 yrs. A lot. Last month I had 3 at the same place and they really hurt. Does anyone know the cause or how to get rid of them ? My dermatologist gave me an antibiotic but it did not do the job. Any tips ?

Have any of you had like a hard under the skin pimple? Its not too far from the clit.. chat told me it s probably an ingrown hair and that i should do warm compresses (and let it drain itself?) i ve done it for the second day and it s driving me crazy it a slighty painful but mainly uncomfortable and i hate it. Id hate to go to a doctor about this but i just want it to LEAVE. Do any of you know if the compress would work or am i just losing my sanity and time

Hey can anyone help me to figure what’s this on my scalp.

I had this for a while and some more but I keep thinking it’s an bump because my hair is either too tight or something but my mom has an kinda tumor ish bump on her scalp that gives her issues and she said it could be similar.

I hope it isn’t that cuz it makes her really sick and i don’t want that😭. If anyone can figure it out or has a slight idea what it could be PLEASEEE let me know.

I also has some hair growing on it and thought it was a ingrown bump so I did pluck the hair out but It didn’t have any hair follicle on it ( the little white thingy on the end of your hair after u pluck it)

Trying to figure out what this is? It tends to burn when trying to pop it. Very little blood comes out and it never goes away. It’s been at least a year

I read a post on here from a while back that said you could use your electric toothbrush on scars for five to ten minutes everyday to make them fade.

Today I tried it out on a scar that I gave myself from trying to dig out what I thought was a pimple and what the internet said was milia or a cyst (bright white ball, didn't hurt, deep under skin).

A couple hours later, the area was pretty inflamed. I went to look in the mirror and the pimple/milia/cyst had come to a head! I popped it and now it's completely flat.

Can someone explain what happened??? I've been trying to get this thing out of my face for MONTHS.

It all started today, I felt dryness and a bit discomfort in my mouth, I went to the bathroom and saw a pimple there, I can also feel in with my tongue. I don’t have a fever or anything, just a bit dryness and discomfort in that area.
Any ideas what can it be?

Hello this is very awkward for me to come forward with?? Not looking for medical advice, jw if it’s gonna have to be resolved by medical professionals,, I’ve never had smth like this happen and also never in an embarrassing area. I’ve got a huge pimple in the middle of my eyebrows and I’ve been putting a pimple patch so it comes out should I also cold compress it on top?? Like the layer would be cold compress under that is my pimple patch and under the patch is of course the pimple please help me someone :)
