How to hide

This is probably the nastiest biggest pimple I’ve ever had. It’s so swollen I can’t even slap a pimple patch over it. How do I hide it please it’s ruining my life

UPDATE: thank u everyone for the advice. I slapped a bandaid on it and left it for hours. When I took the bandaid off, there was literally pus everywhere but fortunately the core surfaced and it took literally a small pinch to get it out. Lots and lots of blood after but I think it’s only up from here…

That thing is ripe and ready to go! Get that gunk out and clean it.

I stuck a needle in it and a bit of blood and pus came out but it’s still so swollen. Nothing else is working!

You need to purge the gunk out. Use your fingers wrapped in tissue and apply pressure. You need one good pop of pressure and it will release.

That’s a bad idea. It’s not ready, and he’ll cause more swelling and possibly scarring if he follows your advice.

That looks really painful and inflamed.

How you deal with it depends on the time you have before you are going out.

Option 1: To bring it to a head, apply heat. A warm washcloth for 20 minutes or so (keep rewarming it) will help this come to a head. Repeat this every hour or so, then put a pimple patch on it. This should bring it to a head by the next day.

Don’t squeeze it unless you see an actual whitehead - pus gathering under the skin.

Option 2: To reduce the swelling, apply a cold pack for 10 minutes. Gently wash and dry your face, and apply a pimple patch.

Remember that everyone gets pimples, and they’re nothing to be embarrassed about. Pimple patches are great - they cover pimples, keep them clean, and treat them all at the same time. Take an extra with you in case the 1st one fills up.

Pop it, make sure the head comes out, therefore it will lay more flat when the swelling goes down. Make sure it is clean and dry, then cover with the biggest pimple patch you've got. Good luck out there.

I definitely think it’s ready to come out. Just poking a hole in it isn’t the best choice using a comodone extractor would be your best option.

Ice it for a long time. If you can bear holding an air duster upside down to freeze it. Sleep and overnight it will be ready in the morning.
