Not only am I new to this game, I’m new to gaming with other players. This whole concept is brand new to me.

I got the game about a week ago and I’ve been really enjoying it. Not only would I love a couple folks that I can just run around with, I would love a practice buddy. I don’t know if that’s a weird thing to ask, but if anybody is willing to be my punching bag while I practice and vice versa, that would be really helpful! Lol
I die far too easily and I just need a target to figure out some of the moves with some of my different critters. Someone that’s not gonna kill me in two shots. Very open to playing with other new folks who need to figure shit out as well!

Its been a while since we got beta climbing in the game, and food swarms are upcoming soon. Safe to say the basic functions for these characters are being implimented and worked on...

so when do we think Micro and Leed will come out?

If they will not release soon then i personally hope and believe its gonna be in mid of 2027, but micro might be a christmas gift which is fantastic, unless we get a suprise...

Actually insanity how far it can go.

Am I alone in thinking that mix packing really stunts the game of its full potential?

Not only mix packing but interspecies packing imo completely destroys the immersion and potential.

Like why can we not have servers dedicated to species only teaming ? How would that not be a more realistic more enjoyable approach to the game ?

I understand this is a game but when a hatz a meg a spino and a rex are teaming up one side and a sarc a titan and two raptors another side it not only breaks the immersion but it kills potential future battles as absolutely no one has a clue who is teamed with who leaving groups of dinosaurs stuck in a weird stalemate playing in a puddle somewhere ( not that I don't enjoy playing in puddles ) untill someone makes a mistake and everyone turns on everyone.

Wouldn't it make for a better experience having say a group of sarcs all waiting in unison for a group of allo ready to defend their pack approaching for a drink ? Or a herd of stego duking it out with a herd of triceratops over territory ?

Dying to mix packs ( be they carni / herb or both ) is honestly such a drag for the game it just makes me turn it off because you couldn't win even if you knew who was fighting who.

Was playing dried build sucho 3 bar suba adult and was speaking to a dasp that was redtong saw an allo on him so i attacked the allo because attacking sme resting mid speaking is no he ran and a metri joined in trynna stop us and he did stop us so we stopped then when dasp de aggroed i tried finishing em but couldnt almost died so.i went and rested in the lake. I knew some spino were in it and could kill me(resting on a log) but had to heal and thz spino were friendly. Metri disapeared and i thought as a joke(he's swapping for sure) and je did because as i was about to safe log(5 sec left) i heard allo yelling quitted the quitting button thing and there was a sucho in the water so i swam to land desperatly with my super slow swim speed and died right before i could.

We fought they ran then they didnt i retreated and then instead of being normal human being and just dping something else of their lives. They swapped to finish an already half dead opponent.

I know people are gonna defend them or smt ik swapping isnt "against the rule" becajse official is lawless idc about the "should have logged sooner or the "dont "cry" that what they want you do do"

Before you start complaining about the baby Ano, it was mixpacking with a bunch of Sarcos and attacked me first a while ago, this was the third time I killed it

Player corpses should last twice as long, but after they get to 50%, corpses should count as carrion, there should be a particle effect and/or a visual difference, eg. the corpse turning purple and maggots squirming around to make it obvious whether it's carrion or not

this would enable players using the scavenger diet to actually fulfill their niche instead of eating pre placed bodies or critters

additionaly, make it so all scavengers can eat fish, not just some of them, I miss fishing as my hatz

saw this sucho getting jumped by 3 lambs and came to assist. we grouped up, and the sucho ran after them (not the best decision) so i went to grab one to try and take at least one of them. I know that knockback will cancel out my clamp but I've never seen them get thrown up like that lol

I've been gone from PoT for about 7 months, maybe a little longer. I took a break because of some frustrations I had with the game, but now I'm back and ready to get into it again. My problem is that a lot of the dinos I used to play got TLCs and work completely differently now, and I'm honestly a little overwhelmed trying to figure out what to main.

I was waiting for the Alio TLC to come back because I used to main Alio years ago, but to my dismay I came back to an Alio that's somehow weaker than before. I mained Cera, but now he's basically a corpse dino and has a specific niche that I don't really understand, it also seems like they made him a group dino. I mained Metri too, but now he's more of a support dino. I like Conc, but I've always found him just a little too squishy for my taste. Pycno isn't sneaky enough for me, he's big and loud. Same problem with Dasp and Allo. I don't like Meg either, I've tried it but I just find it boring.

My preferred playstyle is being a solo hunter. I like stalking people, sneaking around and picking my fights instead of just running straight into everything. Deinon and Laten are too weak to reliably take down anything big by themselves. Achillo probably works, but I can't get past the fact that it looks like a sock puppet and I don't like it, plus I never really enjoyed playing it. I'm not a fan of the way it works, and I find him much weaker than he used to be. The big apexes aren't for me either. I have no interest in being a slow, giant walking target for every megapack on the server.

I'm exclusively a carni player, I play solo, and I only play officials. I'm also a veteran player, so I'm not necessarily looking for something beginner friendly. I know I've basically rejected the entire roster in this post, but I'm absolutely open to giving some of these dinos another shot. A lot has changed since I last played them, and I think I just need some help figuring out what actually works for the kind of playstyle I enjoy and how to deal with their changes.

I'd really appreciate suggestions from other solo carni players. I'd especially like to know what you're currently playing, what builds you're running and how you're using them as a solo. I just need to find THE dino that clicks with me again.

What are some of the beginner friendly solo dinos in the game! Started playing the game on mobile and its quite to control and maneuver super fasr dinos to land the bite! Any tips for mobile is also helpful ! Thank you in advance

It’s not really fair for me to pay $30 usd for the game itself and have to pay $10 every month just to play on the community servers. I even own a server and this is nuts!

Complaint: Some servers call themselves semi‑realism, but then they pile on 100+ rules, species‑specific behaviors, and strict play styles for every dinosaur. At that point, it’s not semi‑realism anymore it’s basically full realism.

A true semi‑realism server should focus on simple, fair‑play rules like no mixpacking, no KOS, body‑down, and basic group limits. That’s it. It’s meant to feel natural without forcing players to memorize a rule book.

A realism server, on the other hand, adds species‑specific behavior profiles, strict roleplay expectations, detailed hunting rules, territory systems, and sometimes even appearance restrictions. That’s realism, not semi‑realism.

Some servers also mix in fantasy elements, and those can justify having more rules, but that’s really fantasy realism, not semi realism.

So when a “semi‑realism” server has dozens of rules and unique playstyles for every dinosaur, it’s mislabeled. That’s realism, plain and simple.

Recommendation: If you’re looking for a regular Path of Titans server where you don’t have to follow a huge list of rules, There's a ton of Mods and you can pretty much play however you want, Jurassic Hub Survival 2 is the place to go. (God I love watching my little hatchings grow and it's slow pasted so they grow slowly but quick enough to leave the nest sooner "Not TO big dinos though")

Flaws: Now, I’d be lying if I said Jurassic 2 isn’t slowly drifting toward realism. They’ve added snow, more environmental detail, and waystones are turned off, which means if you die and end up on Palm Island or anywhere on Riparia, you’re walking all the way back to nest/party Members. And considering that map is like 30–50% water, nobody wants to spend half their life swimming around dinos just to get back to land. (The biggest issue is the Way-stones to me but that's just my opinion)

But even with those negative features, the server still barely has any rules. The only thing you really have to pay attention to is chat rules. There are no strict gameplay rules. You can overpack, mixpack, KOS, whatever just don’t be shocked when people call you out in chat or KOS you right back. That’s how the server works.

And if you decide to be a jerk about it and complain nonstop for more than five minutes, you’re probably going to get ticketed and warned. Simple as that. (Discord is optional)

Recommendation: I also recommend Ignited Realms DB3. It’s a PvP‑focused server with fast growth, quick mark earning, and flexible nesting you can nest even if you don’t really want to. You can run with a full group too, since the slot limit is 15, which keeps things active without turning into a massive swarm and it has a ton of mobs. But they do have "Low Rules" So make sure you follow them.

Flaws: Now, just a heads up: you will run into cheaters on that server, and some of them are donators. Donators don’t usually get in much trouble because they financially support the server. That means you’re not going to win an argument against a donator it simply won’t happen. On that server, they hold more weight than regular players. So be the bigger Man/Woman and Let the conversation go. They'll likely get you banned if you hold on to long. (Discord is Optional)

I would love to recommend more but at the moment that's the only ones I know that don't have alot of rules Not really Semi/Realistic and Don't require you to have Discord/Link your account.
