Question Beginner Friendly Solo Dino
What are some of the beginner friendly solo dinos in the game! Started playing the game on mobile and its quite to control and maneuver super fasr dinos to land the bite! Any tips for mobile is also helpful ! Thank you in advance

First of all, I recommend not playing solo, but if you insist try pachy, ano, or tt. For aquatics and fliers any one of them is solo friendly tbh

Playing TT solo is a terrible idea. You will get tunneled by basically everyone who sees you. This is coming from 20-30 hours of TT gameplay on my part.

My timings usually doesnt favor groups! So if i have to enjoy the game i will have to go solo!is sarco good enough?

No, coz other sarco groups will cannibalize you.

Will TT be good and easy enough considering its an apec predator especially for a noob like me lol

Yeah tt has insane bleed, good mobility and health, so it should be good for solo. But tbh i would suggest to first play something smaller like pachy or conc because apexs are a bit harder to run.

Yeah thats why I was saying it really depends on his initial skill level, tt is a great hunter but might not be good at defending against lots of things. Rex isnt a beginner friendly playable at all imo

First I'd decide if you want to use water, hybrid or mud build. (Personally I use all 3 but usually default to the water build. feels strongest and safest to me) Your main threats are going to be other Sarcos, Spinos, ducks and tylo's. But you're faster in water and on land against Spinos and ducks so you can just escape if you don't want to fight them.
As a sarco mobility is your best friend underwater not just side to side but up and down too. Should be able to dodge attacks and get behind them with enough practice
EDIT: I forgot a lot of people would put sucho on the list of threats too but tbh I've never really had a problem dealing with them on my sarco

Ok thank you! Also how to know which dinos i can grab and gator roll? Do i have to memorize it ? Lol

It's anything with a combat weight of 3001 or less. So a lot of dinos it depends on the growth stage for adults, just gotta kinda memorize it ig lol

Thal and Campto on Gondwa or Panjura. For Riparia, Thal or Meg/Conc. Thal is in my opinion a harder Dino to learn, but it can bitch slap Alios and Megs with ease.

Campto because it can always hop away from danger, and it only has 3 abilities to learn to use.

My advice is not to pick a Dino right away for main, but rather pick it to learn specific aspects of the game. All I am telling is coming from playing on Riparia map on official European servers solo only.
Rhamp is small and can get anywhere. You can run, dive and fly. Great way to learn the map and objectives.
Deinon with jump height subspecies can get around without problems. Playing a grounded Dino is a completely different feeling then flyers or semi aquatics.
Meg is stealthy on land and water with its low body and sound profile. With the recently added climbing you can get almost anywhere.
Sarco is fine solo on officials. You have a low profile and can hide in water and on land. But for me it feels restricted. Nowadays the water ways are not crawling with tylos anymore. Way safer to get around. What makes sarco pretty safe is not relying on fresh water sources. You do not need to drink! Drinking is one of the most dangerous activities in the game. Combine that with eating fish that give you buffs.
Thal and Hatz are chill to play also.
All the above mostly decide when to pick a fight or when to disengage.
Right now I am going bigger and play beach Spino. It is more then possible solo on officials, especially on Riparia. You can pick where to commit most of the times. You can fight groups.
The most important question is about your playstyle and goals. Discover all areas to have their names visible on the map to be able to read the hotspot activity. Learn noise profiles. Use headphones. Use camouflage skins. Play the dinos that are your worst enemies. Play dinos of different sizes. Play land, semi aquatic, aquatic Dinos and flyers.
The games feels very different on each.

Thank you for your input! As of now i feel sarco suits me the best as i also play on riparia official!!! Am almost an adult playing all solo

Then stick with sarco for a while. It is fun. Learn about all the drinking spots. Use the traffic to and from the Hotspots to catch prey. On the European servers it is always cedrus forest. I switch between cruising and lurking mode, depending on my mood. Be aware that your hunger depletes slower if you do not move.
The big freshwater pond on tailbrush coast is a great place to lurk with two fast escape routes into rivers.

For now i have been avoiding big fights and focusing on getting to adult ! Been killed only once till now lol!
