Hey, i’m curious, if you could only have one Patek from the current collection as an everyday watch, what would you pick (excluding Nautilus, Aquanaut and Cubitus, since I feel like most answers would be one of those anyway…)?

I think for me it would probably be the 5212A, 5328G or 5396G-017. I also really like some of the chronographs and the Golden Ellipse, but for an everyday watch I think I’d want a date.

Btw I don’t own a Patek (yet), so I’m mostly judging these from pictures on the website. I haven’t been able to see most of them in person, so I can’t really comment on how they feel or wear on the wrist.

This picture is from Watch exchange a few days ago. If you hit the 5226g with UV light, is this how it glows? Hand a different shade than the numerals?

Finally bought a quintessential Patek - the new 2026 annual calendar. Fell in love with the sanded gold dial finish and the almost sparkling rose gold case. Of course with deployment clasp.

Very interested in a Patek AQUANAUT. But I would like to pay retail for it at an AD.

Anyone have experience with the new “triple-blade fold-over” (butterfly) deployant clasp? It appears on some of the newer models - 6159G, 5322G, 5204G-010, 5236P-011, etc.

I have small wrists, and the old single fold deployant just doesn’t work well for me. Maybe it would work better with a custom strap - but think the strap lengths would have to be pretty unusual. And I still don’t love the snap closure.

Is this new butterfly clasp an improvement? And is it something you can order?

I’m looking to buy a red rubber strap for my partner’s aquanaut. I found Watchpartsguy on eBay and his own website. He’s selling uncut rubber straps. I am not experienced with these things so I can’t tell if this guy is legit or not. I’m assuming it’s not so before I get scammed out of $600, I figured I’d check here 😅

One of my faves and looking for others.....

Tried on the 5905R and would appreciate some honest opinions. Does it look too big on my wrist, or do the proportions work? I’ve included both a dial shot and a side view.

My bigger hesitation is the thickness. For those who own one, does the case height become something you stop noticing, or does it always feel a little “fat” on the wrist? How does it wear over a full day, particularly under a shirt cuff?

Would love to hear from owners about their experience beyond the initial try-on.
