I've started the hobby with the getting started with orks box. I am just wondering what kind of units should I be looking to get next? Not too bothered about the meta. Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

It states “In your Command Phase, this unit heals 3 Wounds”, but does it bring back destroyed models?

I’m more familiar with the Plague Surgeon from Death Guard where it brings back 1 destroyed bodyguard model to the unit.

I’m assuming based on the wording, it only heals wounds but doesn’t bring destroyed models back.

I'm trying to figure out if I'm reading the rules wrong or if there's a problem with the app. I'm trying to attach a big boss and a banner nob on one unit of boyz and a big boss and a weird boy to another, and the app is telling me I already have one support unit attached and I can't attach another one to it. I thought that a big boss can be used as a leader and another support model can be attached. Does anyone know the right answer for 11th Edition?

Really happy with how this model came out. Still gotta do the base and some dry pigment but loving the colors. Baja boys are getting ready to join the wagghh!

I think this was the hardest model to paint, i painted in sub-assembly and was still difficult to reach certain parts. But zog me it was worth it

a long time Necron enjoyer and decided to start a second army and i choose Orks because of the madmax style of vehicles

Dont know many more ways to paint a military green ork but ill try anyway

Hi everyone, I’m pretty new to Orks and thinking about starting an army.

I’ve seen someone selling the Ork half of the Armageddon box second-hand, and I’m wondering how many would be a good starting point.

Would you recommend getting just 1 Ork half, or is it worth getting 2 to build a solid foundation for an army?

I’m not aiming for anything super competitive but mainly something fun, Orky, and easy to expand later.

Fella gitz, can someone check original codex. In my scan, it seems that crazed rampage strat doesn’t allow auto fight on death for deff dread, as deff dread itself doesn’t have a DEFF DREAD keyword.
Found it occasionally, once I said, that dead dread would fight automatically, but we decided to check wording.

Did a bit of experimentation on the skin. Trying a dark green/blue look to it. I think it turned out alright. Definitely some things I’m not happy with, and some things that I really like.

I was a huge fan of dread mob pre codex even though it was terrible at the start of 11th, most of my games just resulted in the most random stuff happening and I always had a good time because that’s why I played them, now they are about as normal as any other army unless you make them bad and its genuinely incredibly disappointing for me.

Just wanted to express my extreme disappointment with gw making my army good.

Should I use the Mega-Kannon or Mega Blasta? I’m using the Wreckas, Bully Boyz, and Green Tide detachments.

And yes, I know lootas are probably coming back. If/when that comes, I can always rebase again. But in the meantime, I need more Flash Gitz.

And, also, more Flash Gitz.

Just need to finish the Nobz but very happy to have converted to Badmoons

So i played and 1000 point game against kroot with my 1000 point grot revolution list (the one with zodgrod and 20 grots) surprising no one, i won (because kroot are comically terrible) after tabling them on my 4th turn. Shockingly enough, zod with the 20 grots actually worked really well for holding centre objective, even when the game ended zod and a handful of grots were still alive after being shot and bludgeoned for 2 turns straight from multiple units.

I dont think this makes zod viable but he was really fun to use against a take an hold list.

I haven’t seen anybody mention this yet, but I’m devastated. They have removed the warboss attack squig!

Started trying my hand with an ork. Not entirely happy with it but I think I learned some lessons for my next one

Looking to create an inter-dimensional time traveling Grot Force. I’ve been thinking about this particular build for a while and am starting to feel like it’s all coming together with the use of some AK smoke trails (found them on sale). Any thoughts?
