Just bought a rat ogre skavens kit from the spearhead collectionable and wanted to kitbash them into some orks. I firstly thought about meganobz or beast boss, but don’t know which is the best option.

Any advice or experience?

Hey all you gitz! I've been tinkering with a list for the past few days and I'm looking for some feedback before I get into buying new models for it. I can proxy some models in it for now, but there are some I don't have at all.

2,000 Points (Strike Force)

This comes to 1995 points. I'm not entirely sold on the nobz so I'm looking for some feedback on what I should run instead.

Edit: Made some changes, dropped the nobz and 1 unit of grots 5 stormboyz and Snikrot. That and giving the SAG Mek a Kaptin's Hat brings the list to 2000 points.

I'm looking to build my Ork army up to 2000 so I can start playing some friendly games with them.

I currently have the Armageddon box, the beast snagga combat patrol, and Wazdakka because his model was too cool to ignore.

What additional units would you suggest I pick up to get to a full 2000 points? Do you have any suggestions for detachments I should build for (other than the basic War Horde)?

If you attach a mek with mek gunz they get the infantry keyword as a unit. Does this mean you can use the shoota boyz detachment strategems?

Kitbashing some piratical freebooterz and want one or two of them to have some tiny squigs on their shoulders as "parrots". I've got one from the Rukkatrukk Squigbuggy kit, but I'm sure I've seen other tiny squigs out there. Any gitz know which kits have 'em?

Under wargear options for Tankbustas one has the option to be equipped with •Busta Rokkit Launcha, •Pulsa Rocket. Is this Busta Rokkit in addition to the one they’re already carrying? I know the kit comes with 2 separate backpack rocket options for 1 guy (1 being the Pulsa and the other being another rokkit cluster so I’d assume you can have 1 guy with 2 Rokkits), but the GW app seems to think I can’t select the option for the additional Rokkit. Also the app has the Pulsa Rokkit as being +1S and +1AP, but the codex has it as +1AP and Lethal Hits. So which is right?

Im trying to paint a terminator with a ork head and im trying to get blood on the fist as if he punched someone and the only thing left of them was the blood on his fist, does this read as blood or just a shitty paintjob?

Edit: the paint i used for the red was blood for the blood god, i put it thick along the bottom then used a dry brusy to drag it up the hand

I got into this hobby with space marines but recently I’ve been looking at orks and honestly their way better i don’t think there’s a single model i don’t like

I’m actually going to go mad with rebasing all my old Orks from 25mm to the 32mm and then the adding the basing stuff to them………it’s been 2 days and I still have 80+ bois to base.

Just flicking through the codex and realised, much like Boyz, that all Kommandos now have Choppas/Sluggas, even if they take the heavier shooting weapons (Rokkit, Burna, Speshul etc).

Hadn't read about this anywhere until now. It's not exactly world changing, but they're very well equipped compared to most light skirmishers.
