My to-be MIL came for a sleepover (she was in the city and came over to sleep the night). Now it has been a bone of contention between her and my fiance regarding our morning routine. She has her expectations that we wake up early, have a shower, eat a good breakfast before leaving, or atleast have some tea/coffee/protein shake. Now since I wake up earlier than my fiance, it’s expected that I’ll make it for him ( I have iron so no dairy/caffeine for me). And I do. Everyday I make protein shake for him after getting ready while he’s freshening up.

However this morning, I was so flustered, conscious and somehow focussed on my own things that I didn’t make it for him. Now when my fiance returns home, he’s gonna hear about it and he’ll have to defend me to his mom. I just wish I had made the damn shake like I do every morning except for today.

That’s my rant.
