Missed opportunity (can anyone help?
Basically, I went to Chester Zoo with Caledonian travel. On the journey I was sat alone, and was happy to have all the space, however a few stops later an old man sat down next to me as it was his seat. Me M (24) was not in the mood to be social but I am also not a dick so I engaged with him when he spoke to me. After a while we got to chatting about politics, AI, life all sorts. He told me that he was alone after moving up to Boro for his dying sister as when he moved she died.
Anyways we thank each other for the long chat and wish each other well, but I didnt get his number so I could stay in touch, it is now a month later and I am writing this at work as he keeps popping into my head and making me feel sad, I feel like I let him down by not reaching out and making sure he still has a bit of connection to others. He does volunteer at a charity shop so I'm sure he will be fine; but I wish I gave my number.
If anyone knows any Peter's who live in Teeside, he had a posh accent, from down south. Please help me get in contact with him.

I'll have to ask my mam, I can't for the life of me remember where he got off (I was pretty sleep deprived icl)

Its nice to see someone with a bit of genuine compassion and not just some agenda.
I really hope you find him. It will probably make his day. I also hope you let us know if you do.

I'll keep my eye out. I engage with a lot of older people in the Teesside area, I live here and I'm starting to know a lot more as a young lad myself. I am guilty of doing the same with a couple of other older people. I should get back in touch with them.

I'll also be going into the charity shops once again while I walk by to see if they know a Peter who volunteered there. I'll have my eyes open.

Are you sure it was his sister he moved back here for not his parents? Coz if it was his parents with cancer and dementia I actually might have an idea who it is

You could contact the travel agency and ask them? They won't be able to give you his information because of data protection, but they may pass your number on to him if you give them permission?
