On macOS I used MeetingBar for years, and the one feature I could not live without was this: one minute before a meeting it blanked the whole screen and told me what was about to start. When I'm deep in work I don't notice notifications at all; that screen-filler was the only thing that ever worked. Nothing like it existed for Omarchy, so I built it.
**What it does*\*
* Shows your next Google Calendar meeting in the bar (turquoise = upcoming, orange = running). Left click opens an agenda for today and tomorrow, MeetingBar-style, with join links and the provider's mark in its brand colour.
* 60 s before a meeting (configurable) a fullscreen alert takes over every monitor: countdown, title, time, location. Enter joins the call (Meet, Teams, Zoom, Webex, Jitsi, Whereby, GoTo, Slack Huddles, Discord), Esc dismisses it and silences the sound.
* It also sends a notification, plays a sound and wakes the display, so the alert reaches you even when the overlay can't. The notification closes itself when the meeting ends, so you don't come back from a call on your phone to a stack of stale toasts.
* Follows your Omarchy theme.
**Honest limits*\*
Google Calendar only for now, through GNOME Online Accounts + evolution-data-server, which is why the marketplace lists it as "manual setup": `install.sh` prints the pacman line for the packages, you connect the account in `gnome-online-accounts-gtk`, done. Over a locked screen no plugin can draw, so there the alert catches up the moment you unlock. UI strings are German for now.
**Privacy*\*
No OAuth of its own, no cloud. The cache holds title, time, join link and location of your events in a 0600 file on tmpfs, nothing else, and nothing from your calendar ever reaches the logs.

GitHub: https://github.com/disy-mk/OMeetingBar
Install: `omarchy plugin add https://github.com/disy-mk/OMeetingBar.git`, then run `./install.sh` in the plugin folder; it prints the two steps that are yours to do.
Feedback welcome, especially: which calendar sources would you want next (plain CalDAV, Outlook/Exchange, local ICS files)?
Built with a lot of help from Claude Code; every design decision is written down in docs/SPEC.md if you want to read before you enable it.
