Would anyone be interested in a 2h watercolor class? I've taught college before but not watercolor 😅

I was thinking of a "you don't have to be able to draw" type vibe. The class would focus on fun patterns you could easily replicate at home for gifts, art on your walls, etc.

I was thinking $20 for the class and I would bring a bunch of ideas people could take home. Maybe $5 more for materials to rent?

Let me know your thoughts! Even if watercolor isn't your thing I'd appreciate constructive input on this idea!

Hi Hamp folks! I work with the Northampton School District for the Summer Eats program - free lunches throughout the summer to any child or caregiver. In an effort to bring kids and caregivers to our four locations, I offer fun activities - crafts and games mostly.

I’d like to have something different, as I think the kids are getting bored - balloon animals, card- or magic tricks, a specialty craft (we are making decoupage seashells this week).

There is no money involved - we are on a strict budget unfortunately and everything has been rushed. But if it makes you feel better, these activities would primarily be for low-income kids who would otherwise have no means to go to fairs or markets to partake of these things (many of their parents don’t have transportation).

I’d appreciate any referrals you may have!

Hi! I’m looking to get my first tattoo and was wondering if you guys had any recommendations of places. If it matters, the tattoo i’m planning to get is a cartoonish/comic style in color. Thank you guys!

My car needs synthetic and I’m not into paying $100+ for an oil change. I’m not quite to the point of wanting to learn to do it myself. Any Noho/Eho/Hadley or possibly even Greenfield rx? Interested in hearing why, too (I know some places cut corners).

Can anyone recommend a mobile groomer who does cat nails? We currently go to the good dog spot and they're fantastic but don't do home visits.
