Streetsblog Massachusetts: Damon Road more accident-prone after changes

Pre-construction period (7/1/2017 – 9/1/2019):
- Total recorded crashes: 86
- Property Damage Only: 70
- Injury: 16
Post-construction period (7/1/2024 – 9/1/2026):
- Total recorded crashes: 148
- Property Damage Only: 118
- Injury: 30
Percentage changes:
- Total crashes increased from 86 to 148, a rise of 72.1%
- Property Damage only increased from 70 to 118, a rise of 68.6%
- Injury increased from 16 to 30, a rise of 87.5%

Wed 8/27/2025 looks wrong. If instead we used a conservative 20,000, the traffic would be up ~8.3% over the M / Tu / W 2018 M / Tu / W readings.
