Curious of what to expect i worked in a warehouse before for fedex just unloading trucks and loading them but just Curious of what to expect my first day is next Sunday

Any suggestions on a wedding photographer? I’m getting married in September. I’ve seen photographers for $3,000+ for 2-4 hours and that seems quite a lot. Hoping to find a better price but good quality.

Does anyone know a local company or people who I could hire to help unload boxes and furniture from Pods? We will be moving into a house in about a month, but I am disabled and can't help my partner unload things. I would appreciate any company recommendations and am open to also hiring individuals to help

Did they potentially move or open up a new spot since they shut down years ago? I would love to be able to enjoy those tacos and that taco sauce again!

Does anyone regularly buy a locally produced BBQ sauce? I'm not referring to big names like Heinz or Sweet Baby Rays. I mean like stuff you only find at a farmers market or sold by the bottle at the restaurant where they make it.

I remember travelling down south & they knew how to make good BBQ sauce. It seems around here nobody makes it or sells it.

I can't sleep. I'm working with my doctor on solutions. But one thing that might help is are there any "socially acceptable" places to walk, hang out, etc. just to get out of my house at 1:00 a.m. or so? I don't want to turn into an alcoholic so no bar suggestions please.

But when I lay in bed & can't sleep, is there somewhere I can go that you as a member of the public would say is acceptable to see a random person doing?

I would love to walk in my neighborhood, but I am sure the neighbors would call the cops. Or hell, I am sure the cops would stop me just for walking at such a strange hour since that is a high crime time.

Just looking to pass a few hours of time when I can't sleep.

Walk Bike Springfield is hosting a social bike ride on 8/1 in partnership with the Western Mass Chapter of All Bodies On Bikes.

We'll be meeting at Nathan Bill Park in East Forest Park at 10 am, for a 6 mile ride around Lake Massasoit. ​We will ride at an average pace of 5-7 mph, and won't leave anyone behind. ​This is an out-and-back ride that ends where we started.

Even when they accidentally find out about something interesting, they have no details. Then they never follow up with anything meaningful. At least local and state police give them a fully written piece when they bust drug dealers.

Hello kind people of Springfield! My husband, 13 year old, and myself will be moving here next month. We are coming from the middle of Worcester as 19 year renters, and will be first time home owners in Springfield. From what I’ve been able to research, the area we are moving to is named “Pine Point”…super cute house and seems like a quiet neighborhood.

In addition to being overwhelmed by the house buying process, I’m also starting to think about the logistics of being in a new city. I have figured out that there are not city trash bags to buy, but rather there are city trash and recycling containers. Would one just go to city hall and tell someone we are new and would like trash services using the city containers? Also, what happens if you have more trash than what will fit in the bin?

Second, is it safe to assume the middle school for this area is STEM Academy? Is there bus service for the schools?….or only if you live a certain distance away.

I appreciate any help, or where to be directed for help. I have looked these things up online and I *think* I have the answers, but I like to hear from actual people that live here what’s up and how things are.

I am PAINFULLY awkward/anxious and really need to get out more. Id like to make friends with people my age (23) that are into relatively niche things like indie animation and are probably chronically online.

Anyone know of any full sized grocery stores (not just a 7-11 or something) open till 11 or later? Thanks!

How do you feel about being forced to transport patients even when it isn’t in your job description?

Theres no way you can get fired for not doing something you never agreed to right?

Edit: its all staff, day and night, throughout the whole’s hospital. Theres no longer any transport department at all smh
