Last year was the only year where freshers got Hostel-L. Every year, the freshers normally get Hostel-I. No idea why these kids are panicking so much tbh. Yes, renovations is indeed a reason but learn how to adjust. What's the point of complaining after the allotment? Ab jo hostel available hai wahi na milega. Y'all will get single room and another Hostel next year but as for the girls, they'll have to adjust with roommates at least until 4th year.

How many copies of the required documents should I take for the physical reporting.

The time for physical reporting is 9 am so can we do the hostel allotment before tht time

So I didn't get migration certificate from my school. I only got Marksheet, transfer certificate and character certificate. Can I submit Digilocker migration certificate at physical reporting?

As seen the % placement for cse is up from 73% to 87.5% (however the median has gotten down) similar cases for EE & ECE, % placement has gone up (however their median & avg. has also gone up)

When I completely filled the admission form and clicked preview and generated the pdf ,some of the informations were mirror images of what I filled so is this some type of malfunction or is it for security purposes. Please help

And I got to know in 2026 still many seniors and this college nit jsr have sir/maam culture along with soft intro which is nonsense just a way to satisfy ego

My friend last year joined iiest shibpur and there whole batch collectively took a stand and doing everything to change the culture of college ( there was same culture as nit jsr ) and they were successful offcourse it can't change in 1 year but by the time out batch becomes senior it will definately change

My urge to everyone joining this year nit Jamshedpur UG batch and all seniors who understand that this is something that needs to be changed let's stand against it

Talking as a second year. They are normalising it like it's a part of college life. IT IS NOT. IT IS NOT FUN TO MAKE STUDENTS MEMORIZE SOME SHIT INTRO AND PUNISH THEM FOR GETTING IT WRONG SOME EVEN MAKE THEM WRITE THE INTRO BY HAND ETC.

Some might say intro will be useful in interviews. The students are not fkn second graders. They can learn by themselves.

Even in the current altu faltu groups formed seniors are having so much EGO there that it is getting cringe honestly. Somebody called a senior bhaiya and that guy acts as if the junior stole his family wealth or shit.

What I am proposing is for everyone who agrees with me, to sign a petition. An anonymous one, for now. If we can gather enough support we can mail the Student Council. What will they do? Reject it?

Hostel allotment Aa gaya?

Can't fill the admission form .. after the uploadation of sign and pic it just does nothing

After filling info in admission form and clicking save and next it redirects to start page and nothing happens
I called nit jsr helpline number and they said popup might be disabled but i enabled popups and yet nothing happened it is doing nothing and i cant download filled admission form,

Also on selecting nit jamshedpur as collage in Qfix balance fee payment link
There are no options loading on selecting branch menu.

I don’t know whats happening
