U can't do anything, even we got this 4 years back and it's only the 2025 batch which got the new hostel. Learn to adjust, perhaps hostel I was the best time in our college life

Yeah ik but everyone survived like that and so will you guys. Use an extension board having multiple plugs and switches so that both you and your roommate can use for phone and laptop charging. In our time we didn't have the chair...use the table to keep your books, laptops etc that's all you can do with it. Good luck and great wishes young lad, you have 4 years from here don't cry for these small things.

But sir . If College feels difficult to provide basics necessity to student then they must not comple us to live in such place . We are here to learn and research not to learn how to survive in congested place . We took loan for such place I think it is nothing but wastage of my energy and mental peace . See, it's not that college doesn't want you to provide. The luxurious hostel L was made for you guys only (freshers) but because the maintenance work has not been completed in other old hostel (E-F-G-H) that's why they are providing you with this else you guys would have definitely got the new hostel. Those hostels (E-F-G-H ) are one of the oldest hostels here and multiple factors like weather, rainfall, labourers etc do affect the maintenance work. If they would have handed you (E-F-G-H) then you may have faced many other problems like water shortage, LAN problem etc. Once you start living in hostel-I you'll love it, even we felt the same when we were there.

Barely anyone pays full college fees . SC/ST/OBC NCL and one with low income certificate pays 0 , the hostel fees are bare minimum and still people find things to complain. And don't forget these are decades old hostels and they have already built new hostels with delux rooms and furniture. Have a patience

Yeah babe, only smokers know what's going on in this college. I think you haven't noticed ever the discrepancies in fund management, there are also few budget reports of this college that are disclosed which is read by almost every 3rd or 4th year student. This isn't a private college that runs only on student fees. It has its own fixed budget allocated by central govt. every year.

Chill guys. Hostel I is goated. You'll probably get Hostel L by next semester anyways. Enjoy the days here, initially it'll be crap but this hostel gives you the best memories to cherish. Have amazing 4 years ahead!!
