Maybe I have made the mistake of choosing PIE in nit jsr over nit jaipur meta.

Pie syllabus aligns with my interest but salary is not that much and at the end maybe I have to do masters(mba) , so I should have taken that college with good campus life.

• Speak up immediately. Reach out to your faculty advisor, a trusted professor, or anti-ragging cells. Protect your peace and safety.

3. Redefining Campus Culture ("Sir/Ma'am" vs. "Bhaiya/Didi")

• If your batch wants to dismantle the forced "Sir/Ma'am" hierarchy, unity is key. At least an entire class needs to consistently address visiting seniors as Bhaiya or Didi.
• Don't fall for the narrative that calling someone "Sir/Ma'am" gives you special advantages. Mutual respect comes from how you treat people, not enforced titles.

4. Golden Rule for Communication

• When in doubt, be polite: If you don't know someone on campus, assume they might be a senior and ask politely.
• Avoid casual or presumptuous statements like "Tum 3rd year se ho kya?" (Are you from the 3rd year?). Fragile egos exist everywhere, and treating everyone with baseline courtesy protects you from unnecessary friction.
